The stay at this particular hotel was very simple and comforting. Best stay i ever had.

I am always leary of furniture that is covered with sheets as was the sofa if this room. I was afraid to look underneath.

Bad experience on my confirmation copy it's doesn't say my check in time when I got there 7am, the lady on front desk said I have to wait till 2pm coz thats the check in time. I was upset coz I called a day before to confirm my booking, they said everything is set and they know that I'm coming early they didn't tell me anything about the check in time […] is 2pm & it's on the confirmation that I got from them. 더 보기

the staff were very welcoming and pleasant. My room was just sort of "old" but was comfortable.

My husband and I took our daughter to Disneyland for the first time. I'm a non snooty & really laid back woman, but there's a couple things about this place that will keep me from coming back. These are my personal opinions. Close to Disney & has full kitchen, that's why I picked this hotel for our 2 night stay. Parking is free. There is a pool. mexican […] restaurant on property. Stocked kitchen with cups, pots, pans etc. & those were clean. The cons however...A pain to get off property and on to road at times from all the traffic. Our view was a dumpster and surrounding apartments. Pool is cold. Woken up both mornings by the hispanic maintenance men shouting to each other and using a leaf blower & backing up their truck to attatch a trailer. Our sliding door locked, but u need only push a little bit from outside and voila! Unlocked door to anyone looking to get in. My water kettle had some nasty white pasty film in it that shows it never gets washed. Coffee maker was dirty inside. Bathtub had a long black hair in it. Not the best neighborhood but not the worst. The stove is gas and the knobs are super sensitive w/ no way to lock or remove to keep tiny hands fron turning it on over and over (very dangerous!) Bathroom is loud when other guests shower. Bad parking. Overall I would spend the money on something a bit nicer and cleaner, oh and most importantly quiet! 더 보기

I woke up to a huge cockroach on the floor. The wifi was to weak to use the Internet in the room. The bedding was from the 80 's. overall I give the place a 2.

a rustic spanish hotel very nice, we went with a group of 12 and all of us were very pleased with the rooms and hotel. would definetly think about using this hotel again

Stayed in room 323 with family of 2 young children. Conveniently located off I-5 and there is a grocery store across the street that is open late. Room was newly renovated and clean. It faces the back parking lot and is quiet. Reception was very friendly and helpful and printed out our disney tickets for us(bought online to avoid lineups). We had to […] wait for another person to check in before us so the reception guy gave us the wifi for free for the 3 nights that we stayed. Not walking distance to disney but parking at disney was only $15 with in and out privlidges. We chose to stay bit away from disneyland to save on hotel or pay same rate but get better quality and that is what we got. 더 보기

My husband I stated here for the weekend. Friendly staff, hotel was clean and the drive to Disneyland wasn't far. We would and will stay here again!

Have family living close by so that is why we have chosen the Pepper Tree. We come in late and leave early so have not really used the hotels other amenities.

If you enjoy noise, this is the place. Little children running down the hallway after 10PM. Cleaning rooms after 6PM. This by far the worse hotel I have every stayed at. Motel 6 would have been a nice change.

I went to visit family and location was way too far from the main strip.

Not a very comfortable bed nor room at all. It is close to the attractions though and the price is nice.

We found the service very friendly and helpful, comfortable rooms and the internet access worked fine. Low price, very cheap breakfast, and a 10 minute drive to Disneyland. With this in mind, we didn't vare much that the hotel is in need of some maintenance. (a little paint, etc would have been nice). The Hotel Pepper Tree is an older property designed to look like an old adobe. Though worn, they are in the process of upgrading carpeting, etc. The location was quiet and close to I-5, about equidistant from Knott's and Disneyland. The room was spacious and confortable with a kitchenette that included a full-sized refrigerator, stove, The air conditioner […] was rather noisy, and the front desk staff was not as attentive as we would have liked. The hotel was just good, not great. The front desk staff were very helpful, but the room was a bit tired and could use a few updates. At least it was big, and included a nearly full kitchen (stove, frig, etc., but only one fork, 1 wine glass). There is a brand new mexican grocery store right across the street. If you can get it for a low price (like […] we did our first night), it is a good value. If there is a convention in town and the price doubles (like our second night), then the value disappears. Generally, we have done much better at other places in the past, but this time they were all full and this was one of the few hotels available at any price. 더 보기

Even tho' the desk clerk was courteous and the room clean, those were not enough to overcome the overall feeling of the hotel. If you've been to the Tower of Terror at Disneyland, then you'll know what I mean. We will not return until upgrades have been completed.

This hotel is very old with bad carpet and very old bedding! The room had a odor and they also close the desk at 9:30PM and if you need anything you have to call the night manager for help. I wouldn't allow my dog to stay at this hotel. Very poorly kept hotel.

This hotel is great! The rooms are clean and nicely furnished, well above my expectations. The hotel in general is very cute iside, kind of rustic looking and the staff is very friendly. The price was great, the beds comfortable, the rooms clean, free breakfast...it's an overall A+ for travelers!

I was in town for a convention and just needed a comfortable room and a hot shower for the evening. The hotel was clean but quite run down. The "hot"water was just lukewarm at best and there was no heat. Just a wall AC unit that never gave me any warm air. The neighborhood is noisy and I was awakened way too early. The staff were very pleasant - what a nice change from so many of the chain hotels. The FREE WiFi worked perfectly. The room was nicely laid out and a comfortable size. At first the bed looked like it might be old and too soft but turned out to be extremely comfortable. The room could use a bit of maintenance due to wear (such as carpet seams and paint […] in the bathroom) but seemed to be cleaner and in better shape than many so-called "better" hotels we have stayed in. Hotel was neat, kitchenette was a plus. No alarm clock, water took a very long time to heat up. Every room has a balcony, newer TV would be a great benefit. Old style spanish theme throughout entire hotel.

I thought I was priced right. Weekdays are super cheap! Kitchen had everything I needed only wish the heater was stronger it took awhile to warm up. The resturants food was very yummy. I will go to pepper tree hotel again

Is it the Hilton?...No. But this is a great hotel...very roomy rooms, like a studio apartment, stocked with everything you'll need in the kitchen...its not luxury by any means but if you like Latin culture you will love this hotel, I loved the patio with chairs and water feature...the neighbotrhood while not upper class isn't dangerous at all...the […] Mexican Super market/carniceria across the street is amazing...room was clean, water pressure was above average, bed was conmfortable though not luxurious...if you want something nicer than the Super 8 or Comfort Inn yet in the same price range this is the hotel...again its no Hilton but its worth every penny...my only complaint was the 10 am checkout but the staff was curteous and didn't rush me out the door...I booked one night b/c of some less than stellar reviews...I ended up staying all three nights...fear not go ahead and book...oh yeah and wireless internet was free! no surcharge 더 보기

You really can't do better for the price. Not only was our room clean, but everything was modern (save for the TV, but who cares?), and it even had a small kitchen with a stove, fridge, and sink. If I go back down to Anaheim I would stay at this place again in a heartbeat...highly recommended. Oh! And the owners are apparently from Australia and adore […] Vegemite. The front desk has a small candy bowl with mints, chocolates and...you guessed it, little vegemite packets, haha. Too funny :-) 더 보기

Stayed in room #206 and our room overlooked the pool and the spot where my car was parked. Like other reviewers, we enjoyed the decor and the ambiance of the place. Nothing exquisite, but different than what you'd normally find in a hotel chain which made it feel a bit more exciting. The size of the rooms were nice and were laid out well. We were comfortable […] here. Full size fridge was a nice bonus. Bring your own food and save money! We re-froze our ice from the cooler and used it for the trip home. I thoroughly checked the hotel for bugs, dirt, and other things I could complain about, but HOORAY, nothing was found! This hotel is definitely older, but clean. If you plan to stay more than 1 night, the convenience of a kitchen in your room is an added plus. We also had our little enclosed private patio area which was nice. Too bad we couldn't enjoy it more. On the downside, the room is a little dated, and the hotel takes the "Spanish inspired rustic influence" to its full extent. My original intent was to find an affordable place that wasn't too run down or in a dangerous area for my family going to D-land. Hotels.com listed a kitchen in the King size rooms for an added price but when we arrived there was one in our 2-queen room. It was awesome. gas stove, iron, iron board plates utensils, everything needed to cook dinner in. […] While the esthetics could use to be renovated the character of the hotel was so cool. The staff was phenominal and attentitive to all our needs. There was a light continental breakfast at the resturant on premise (eggs, pancakes, ham potatos, toast etc) for only $6 for the entire room. $6 FOR THE ENTIRE ROOM! Across the street was a brand new mexican grocery store with a fresh meat section paying tribute to the old school butcher shops with anything you could think of. Plenty of people might snub there nose at this hotel because of its age but I've stayed at more luxerious places in vegas that didn't offer half as much for twice the price. It was warm, home-y like studio apt and only a 5min drive to D-land away from the busy turblant Ball Rd/S. Harbor area. My daughters asked to stay in the exact same hotel when we come again next year and we absolutely will. 더 보기

Loved the feel of this hotel. Everything was clean and I really enjoyed my stay. The quality of the internet connection was excellent, I will stay here again!!!!

The price was right, but that's where it ended. The immediate surrounding area was questionable. The first thing I disliked about the hotel was the filthy floors. At the end of our first day there, I noticed my granddaughters feet were black. At first I thought it was from being on the patio, but then realized it was the floor in the room. I told the […] desk clerk about it and the next day it was cleaned. It was much better, but still not super clean. The next day when we got home, there was no coffee left for the next day. I had to go down to the front desk to get some. This happen another time during our 1 week stay. Finally, the restaurant that is afiliated with the hotel is horrible. We had our first dinner there and couldn't bring our selves to go back for a lunch or dinner. The hotel offers a very inexpensive breakfast at the restaurant. So we gave that a try. So sorry we did. The milk was sour and the food was barely edible. Overall it's a very run down place. I suppose for the price it's an OK place to stay. 더 보기

The service was great and the hotel style was nice. The rooms, however, were a little outdated. Overall the hotel was comfortable, clean and the rooms were spacious. Great choice for a family on a budget!

I have travelled around the US onbusiness, and I stayed here for a weekend at Disneyland. This hotel was terriffic! I paid a little more to get the king suite and it was worth. The decor is so different and charming than a regular hotel that it made our stay very special. Staff was great help, even acting as concierge. I lost my gold ring, called when […] we were leaving to airport, and staff went in found it and it is being returned now. Close to Disneyland and all Anaheim attractions (2 freeway exits). The lighting sucked & the room was DARK. The carpet (the little bit there was) was frayed. Our refridgerator made loud noises because it was off balance. The stove was off balance & the cabnits in the kitchen didn't properly close. The bathroom was TINY and the nob to flush the tolite was akwardly placed. We booked the hotel online because of the nice pictures, but in reality Pepper Tree gets maximum 2 Stars. The Pool is unusable directly to parking place. You hear everything of the neighbors.
