SANDYLAND REEF INN - 카펜테리아

We needed a simple place to visit Santa Barbara, with its high cost of living. This place was simple and clean. The front desk clerk was very professional. The parking is far away from some of the upstairs rooms.

When I called asking questions regarding if there were any rooms available for the night I was told that they had a room available with 2 double beds. Not only did this Inn have the room that we needed but it had an indoor pool, which would have been great. Another thing that I was told was that there was a breakfast available in the morning, sometime […] around 6 AM. I asked if it was a continental breakfast and was advised that no, it was more than that, they offered oatmeal, eggs, etc. When we were at the Inn we discovered not only that the pool was not covered, there wasn’t a breakfast, at all, and when I attempted to get extra towels, I was lucky to get 1 extra towel for a room that was booked for 4 people. good value for your dollar especially for this area. The bathroom was very large. Furniture were old but the room was clean. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.

The desk clerk was amazing, the rooms were ok, a little out dated but I will stay again...

I travel for my job and for the price of an overnight visit it was good. I would definitely stay again if the need came. I prefer my room with amenities but the price for the area is not bad and its close to everything you need.

Hotel was clean and for the price a great value. Front desk was courteous and the maids friendly. Sadly because this a bargain hotel you never know when a undesirable cohort will be staying, on the Friday evening we stayed it was too noisy to sleep until around 1:30.

Many reviewers had strong negatives about this place. We found that this inn was an inexpensive place to stay near Santa Barbara, which is generally pretty pricey. They were also willing to let us reserve for Saturday night only, which many SB area hotels will not do. The room was clean, including the sheets, and we saw no sign of anything objectionable. […] There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. It is near the freeway, but we didn't find it excessively noisy. If you want a higher-end place, just skip this one and pay the much higher rates they will charge. 더 보기

The best thing about this place was the location being close to Santa Barbara to avoid paying their high prices. The downsides were the room was pretty basic, wifi was very selective (took over 1hr and 2 trips to the office to get it working) and even though the room was non smoking, there was still a faint smell of smoke from it. The hotel was a little run down and old but the service was good. No continental breakfast as stated by hotels.com I will stay again

I needed a room for one night and didnt want to pay a whole lot since I only needed it till 4 am... This hotel is great ,its close to alot of activities, Desk person when I checked in at 10pm was very nice and made my check in fast , she was knowledgeable about the walk I was doing and was able to recommend places to eat and see. Adequte and the price was right. The mattress was comforable. The shower was nice. The negatives were that our room was next to the freeway, so it was very loud and could not have the window open. The towels were small, thin and felt like sandpaper. We asked for more towels (not much better) and that was not a problem.

First you have to understand how obscenely expensive hotels are in SB - then you will realize that this is great value (vs $200+ in SB). Ask for a room at the back, away from the highway noise and you will be fine. (Downstairs if you don't want to carry things upstairs.)

The motel is located right off the highway. The room itself was just barely adequate. The carpet was swept but has not been cleaned for a while. I would not walk around barefoot on it. The outside areas where the vending machines are located did not seem clean at all. The places to sit were so cruddy That I was afraid I would have to wash my clothes […] if I sat there. The stairway to the upperlevel was next to my room and footsteps were annoying the whole time I was there. I suppose it is tolerable if you just need a place to sleep and then be on your way. 더 보기

Making a late reseravation in the Santa Barbara area was a problem as 60 of the 63 properties in the area were already booked. Sandyland Reef was one of only three places available. It turned out to be an OK place to stay. The room rate was great for the area.

a good hotel. did not like that they raise their rates for the weekend(friday and saturdays) almost double their weekly rates

A little run down but the bed was super comfy, it was clean, quiet and had easy parking. Will stay there again.

I was charged more than $135 average for 2 nights and it's the dumpiest place I can ever remember staying. My room was at the opposite end from the freeway luckily but next to a smoker. Office staff spoke little English. The room smelled.

to whom it may concern, I'm trully dissapointed with the hotel. the surrounding was very loud, i wasnt able to sleep at all. also for some reason i got rashes all over my face. i think from the bedding that wasnt cleaned properly. its DISGUSTING!! i willl not come back to this place and will not recommend this place to anybody!!!!!!

I got what I expected and a little better. The reviews werent great..but for what I needed, it was perfect. Comfortable beds, nice new bathroom, clean towels, clean pool and jacuzzi. My kids came with me for ONE night on the Train to Carpinteria...so for that..it was perfect. The lady next to me smoked....outside the door...so that wasnt great...but […] we werent there much.. The hotel was lacking in a few small amenities, like an alarm clock and a hook on the door for a bathrobe, and the decor was unremarkable, but the staff was friendly, there was a pool and large jacuzzi and it's close to the beach and Santa Barbara. There was no bathtub, only a shower, in our room, but it looked like it had just been redone. Motel minable très bruyant, mal entretenu, cher pour la prestation!!!

Todo era muy chico y antiguo.Los banios fue lo peor, no tienen muebles para poner nada encima, sobre todo para las mujeres que tenemos una variedad de cosas que usamos para arreglarnos. La cortina de la ducha no llegaba hasta el suelo, estaba corta, si no teniamos cuidado al ubicar la ducha al rincon se salia toda el agua fuera del cuadrado de la ducha. […] Las toallas horriblemente baratas, raspaban en vez de secar y eramos 3 personas y solamente nos dieron 2 sets de toallas. Prima hotel voor deze prijs. Relatief grote kamer met ligbad. Verder zelfs een zwembad(je) en Jacuzzi. Goed bed. Inboedel is oud, maar functioneert goed. Het enige verbeterpuntje zou een koelkastje op de kamer zijn.
