코닝스비 인 (Coningsby Inn) - 벨리즈 시티

This facility is way over rated on your site. If all you want is a bed (under lockdown conditions because of the neighborhood), it may fit your need. Beyond that, it's a mistake and overpriced. I would not take my wife there again until I had stayed at every other place in town at the same price. This can't be the best Belize City has to offer.

After hostel hopping this Inn was a welcomed relief with all the necessary amenities. The hotel manager was very accommodating and even offered to set up dinner for us despite her cook being off work. The surrounding area is rough so we stayed inside for the most part, I would visit again!

We liked the staff so much, and the area was a surprising interest. All of our needs were considered by staff, and the home-like,neighborly atmosphere lent a sense of local identity which often is lacking in modern travel experiences. I cannot think of a better place for us, as long as one is economy-minded.

This is a reasonably priced B&B type setting and is an easy walk to the boats that go to the islands. We were there on a Sunday evening when most things were closed so were very glad to have dinner available. It was delicious and reasonably priced. I stayed for 2 nights at the Coningsby Inn. The location is within walking distance to most "important" places in Belize Ciy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but small and not everthing was in the best condition. I guess still good value for Belize City.

The hotel was prety nice for the price you're paying. The staff was very friendly! They recommended some cool things for us to do while in Belize and we truly enjoyed this amazing country with great and FRIENDLY people!

The hotel is a bit worn but very clean with great helpful staff. It is very centrally located (close to harbors, water taxi, bus stop, walking distance to touristy sites in Belize city) There is no reason to hang out in Belize city but if you must this is a good choice of hotel that will not kill your budget and will deliver a safe and clean location. […] Other choices will come at a higher price. the hotel is old and looks poor, but staff was extremaly helpful and nice. Its ok for one night stay.

Not much choice on the low end. So if you need an address to put on your entry card, you could do worse. Compared to other places I stayed in other locations (Belmopan, San Ignacio & Caye Caulker) Coningsby was expensive.

The beds sunk in the middle like hammocks and caused us much back pain. Every drawer of the dresser was stuffed to the brim with junk making the dresser completely unuseable. The charge to make local calls was completely unreasonable. Additionally, something about the hostess Janet made us feel uneasy. For a budget stay, this place meets all of the requirements. The room was clean, plus it had a/c and cable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Even with Hurricane RIchard about to hit, the staff took care of us and got us to the bus station.

The lady that ran the hotel was very helpful and even planned all of our outings for us. However, the location was not as expected. It is not near the beach like one of the reviews I read. There is NO beach on the mainland. The area had no places to eat after 5 and few before. We had to take a cab to find food every night or eat at street stands. GREAT HOME AWAY FROM HOME NICE CLEAN AND PEACEFUL. THE STAFF WERE GREAT. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN WHEN I GET THE CHANCE.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The air conditioners were window units that were noisy, but they cooled the room quite well. There was no phone in the room, but I did not need one. The service was exemplary. The staff was friendly, courteous, and accommodating. Fuimos solamente para una noche en este hotel. La habitacion era muy limpia y el personal era muy muy amable! Es muy familiar y uno se siente muy comodo en este hotel! La ubicacion del hotel es muy bien, esta en el centro. Solamente podemos recomendar este hotel!

la fachada es engañosa, porque se ve como una casa estilo belizeño de madera pero los cuartos que estan detras, estan my viejos, descuidados, abandonados, en nuestro cuarto habia una fuga en el baño, el colchon estaba viejisimo y simplemente nos dijo la dueña con toda la tranquilidad del mundo que no nos habian afrecido nada de comer por la noche porque […] la chica que estaba ayudandole no le gustaba mucho hacer nada y no se le ocurria nada... asi que Belize city es caro en general y para lo que se pago es un robo,no se fien de las fotos, es verdad qeu la parte frontal de la casa que aparece si es bonita pero el resto de detras donde estan los cuartos es peor que hotel de mala muerte, lastima porque es puro descuido y vagancia.. creo yo. 더 보기

El hotel es limpio, se encuentra en la parte antigua de la ciudad. Las camas no son de lo mejor, pero para una noche de paso, está bien. El precio creo que es alto para lo que ofrece, pero en Belice City TODOS los hoteles son relativamente caros! La dueña del hotel y sus hijas son lo mejor del mismo, muy amables y siempre dispuestas a ayudar.
