People at the hotel were quite friendly (by Boston standards, anyhow), and service was fine. Location not ideal, but easy to get to quick rail link downtown in a few minutes. Had to unplug the noisy little fridge to get to sleep. Not a hotel I would hang spend time in other than to sleep, but it did the trick. I would use it again.

Our son attends The University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. There are not a lot of hotel choices and especially hotels that are reasonably priced. That is why we stay at this location.

For the price the room was comfortable, well appointed and clean. The bed was also comfortable. Despite the in city location and nearby freeway it was quiet. On the first day the elevator was broken so getting all my luggage to the fourth floor was a bit difficult. Other than that the stay was very nice, clean and suprisingly quiet.

Our hotel room was small, but clean. Covered parking was available, free of charge. The complementary breakfast included a variety of eggs, meats, potatoes, waffles, pastries, and cereal. Overall, a good value.

We booked a handicap accessible room because it was cheaper than the other rooms. The room was cozy in size but two of us had room enough. The thing that bothered me was that there was no counter in the bathroom. It was difficult to get ready because of this. I don't know if this was unique to the room or if all of the rooms are designed this way.

Just because the sheets are nice does not make it a nice hotel. It was old and grungy inside. I will never pay that price to stay there ever again. Not worth it at all.

The breakfast each morning was wonderful. It was nice to see options for a protein based breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel made it easy to get to our daily destinations. I liked how the hotel was committed to all types of conservation and recycling.

The Best Western Tacoma Dome Hotel is located just yards away from the Tacoma Dome, and minutes from downtown Tacoma. The facility is is good shape, with friendly staff and good prices. The FREE breakfast was exceptional, with fresh scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, fresh fruit, waffles, juice and more.

The buffet should not be called a buffet. Really bad. Not much to choose from. No grout, cereal, bagels or even donuts! The bathroom sink pressure was low and the shower was clogged. No fan in bathroom.

Good price for what it provides. Comfortable bed and a great selection at breakfast. pleasant staff. Location is slightly inconvenient in terms of food and quick buys butit felt safe having a parking garage. Overall its just what I paid for

I recommend this hotel for the closeness to the Tacoma Dome for events only. I was disappointed as it was double the price of the Best Western we stayed at the night before however it was not nearly as nice and it only had two light sheets and a thin blanket on the bed. Very clean and quiet! Friendly staff. Would stay there again!!!!

The only complaint I have is we needed to be someplace @ 3:00 p.m. and were not able to check in until about 2:30 p.m. There should be allowances made for those who need a little earlier check-in time. Otherwise - nice experience.

Very convenient if attending Tacoma Dome events. We were there January 26 through 29, 2012. The restaurant and bar were not heated. We had to take our food to our room to eat. The morning buffet was good, but I had to warm my very cold plate on the waffle iron. Enough clearance in the parking garage to park my pickup. One of the elevators wasn't working. Big event at the Tacoma Dome with a lot of people in the hotel. Had a lot of trouble getting off of our floor and NO STAIRS to lobby - only to the alley!!!!

the room lacked plug in the only ones available was in thr bathfoom. except these plug in's would not hold a cord they kept falling out. no way to charge electronic devices. the food in the breakfast buffet was cold. the butter on the french toast wouldn't even melt.

was really impressed with hotel. Am partially disabled due to a stroke. The only input I have,the walk-in shower was great,however even with the curtain closed there was water all over the floor. I booked this hotel because it said that it had a restaurant and bar located in the hotel. I booked two rooms for myself and family members on a Saturday night December 17th. The restaurant and bar we closed through the holiday season, which seemed weird considering this is a high travel season. So we had to got out for meals and not being familiar […] with the area this was a hassle. The rooms were nice and clean. House keeping was still working on rooms at 4pm on our floor. Friendly Staff, Hotel is walking distance to Washington State. The free Tacoma trolley is close by.

For a basic hotel, this is a great deal! Clean and comfortable... Stay after a concert or other event... check here first.

Hotel has free underground secure parking, though if hotel full, doubt there would be enough spaces to park. Very clean. Clean spell hits you as soon you get off elevators on your floor. I was in Tacoma to do some SCUBA diving in the Puget Sound. The Best Western was less than a mile from the docks and it had decent reviews. So I picked it. Hotel: Good selection for the morning breakfast buffet. Sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, waffles, bagels, etc. The hotel itself seemed to be well maintained and clean. Although, I only stayed a night […] and didn't use any amenities other than the morning breakfast. I did see that the hotel offered a video game room, had a bar and saw people going to the fitness center. Room: I stayed in a non-smoking queen room. With the exception of a five minute conversation that my neighbors had in the hallway outside of my room, it was quiet. I heard no sound through the walls or from the people above or below me. No road noise either. The bathroom was small but suited my needs. The hotel room itself was clean and comfortable. It had a TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, telephone, hair dryer and wireless internet. But I didn't use any of those features so I couldn't comment on them. Area: There is not much within walking distance that I saw. Although, there is a strip of shops and restaurants about a mile northwest of the hotel. Final Verdict: I plan to stay here again. I thoroughly credit the staff for accommodating several special needs requests that I made for my one night's stay. The place is clean, comfortable, and quiet, and it IS against the parking lot of the Tacoma Dome...great location for event attenders. However, the natural demeanor of all of the clerks was short, and seemingly ungrateful for the clients. […] I was NOT a pain to them, I was polite and gracious about my requests. However, from being put on hold mid-sentence (twice) when asking for an early checkin, to never receiving a single smile at any moment, to watching other staff communicate with other clients, there is not "happy smiley welcome" here. (I don't think they were ill-intended, just poorly trained in customer service.) They do meet your requests, though, in my experience. If you can deal with the cool attitudes of the staff, and just go onto enjoy your stay, then this is a great place to stay. I will stay there again. 더 보기
