this is a little bed and breakfast with just 3 rooms. a great feel to this little B&B. Nice southwest design, fun room. kind of hidden away and hard to find at night (probably during the day too.) Owner is very nice, breakfast was pleasant. no wireless or internet.

It is very nice, confortable and beautiful, and Iolanda is lovely and generous. We felt so much welcomed there Roberto & Edite from Las Cruces-NM.

Our stay was very relaxing and really what we needed. Yolanda told us of all the places and restaurants around. She prepared a lovely breakfast every morning, which started with fresh fruit and a different hot meal every morning, banana pancakes, french toast, waffles. Each morning was a welcomed surprise. Overall, a very pleasant place to relax, altho not particularly a financial value for the Taos area .... Offers 'a touch of New Mexico' with local decor, plenty of room, quiet rooms, has comfortable beds, is well designed and equipped. Breakfast was modestly pleasant ... one hot entry offered per day such as waffles, eggs, ham, etc. On the downside, […] I got bumped from the room I reserved online to one with a smaller bed (owner claimed the on-line reservation service 'keeps booking the same room' )...would recommend checking rates online and phoning to confirm you get the room and rate you want. Plan to arrive during daylight! Very difficult to find after dark! As several others have noted, windows need replacement. 더 보기

Taos Country B & B, Beautiful setting about a mile and a half out of town. Easy to find but not with a GPS. Fabulous host, great food and exceptionallly relaxing. We stayed 3 nights and would highly recommend it. Traveled from Minnesota.

This B&B exceeded our expectations. It was rated a 3 star but we think it should be more given the friendliness of the owner, (a New Mexican lady), the great breakfasts, the house and our room. The house is on the outskirts of Taos which for some if you do not have a car might not work but it was wonderful for us as it is an extremely quiet and peaceful […] setting. My husband & I Truly enjoyed our restful stay at the Inn. Our hostess was so very friendly and sweet. The home was beautiful and so relaxing. Our room was very large and comfortable. When we visit again we will differently stay at the Taos Country Inn.

My husband had doubts when we drove up because this B&B is down a dirt road and hidden. It's wonderful! We were tired one evening and ordered a pizza, and Yolanda, the innkeeper, laid out plates and silverware "in case the pizza place doesn't bring any" - this was the sort of friendly, easy-going place this is. No air conditioning, but the windows open. […] We heard coyotes yipping one night. This inn is NOT walking distance to the Plaza, but that's probably one of the best things about it. Yolanda, our host, was very hospitable and served a delicious and healthy breakfast. We were the only guests Sunday night so she moved us into a more spacious room that was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We'll stay there again.

The owner was magnificant. She was very friendly and very accomodating, making reservations for dinners for us alone with suggesting different attractions in the Taos area. Breakfast were great and the rooms were huge and very comfortable. A very quite and relaxing place outside of town.

Didn't realize this was a B & B. Was a wonderful place to stay. Only bad thing is no a/c and we were there when it was unusually hot for Taos.

the proprietor - Yolanda was a delight. In addition to many sightseeing and eating recommendations, she makes wonderful breakfasts. The rooms are spacious. The only reason not to give 5 stars, is the room didn't have air conditioning and not all the windows could be opened to give cross ventilation. The hostess was awesome and went the extra mile to make us feel very welcome.

We loved the Inn. We arrived early, and Yolanda, the proprietor was most gracious in showing us around and explaining how the Inn was renovated. The accommodations made our trip very special. She also made reservations for us to eat and knew everything about the restaurant and the area. We would definitely go back again.

The hotel was above average, but out of town which might concern people who would like to have greater access. However, Yolinda, the proprietor, was outstanding and went over board. If were back in Taos, I would go back to her place simply because of her care, charm, and people skills. Breakfast was outstanding!

The only part better than the beautiful accommodations was the owner. She is warm, welcoming, helpful and makes all of the guests feel like family. She has lived in this exquisite house, which has been renovated with style and taste, for many years, and knows great places to hike, eat or see. This B & B is a hidden gem.

Located back in on a gravel road, the extra effort to find the home is worth it. Lovely home with a peace all its own. The hostess was pleasant and very accommodating. Wonderful breakfast. Nice mix of open air vistas and woodsy acreage.

We spent two weeks driving from SLC to northern new mexico, and among numerous one-night stays in everything from 4 star hotels to at least one rather shabby motel, we found our stay in Taos Country Inn the best. Taos itself was a very charming small town and seem to have both ski areas, hiking, and the Rio Grande Gorge. The star attraction in the region, […] however, is obviously the UNESCO world herritage site Taos Pueblo (well worth the trip by itself). We spent only one day, but a month after returning we remember this Inn to be the best stay on the entire trip. Yolanda (the hostess) was very hospitable and made our stay excellent. It might seem a bit off when one arrives, but it is in fact only a few minutes driving from the center. On the other hand, the scilence at night is quite breathtaking - like a one-night retreat for stressed out city people; both exciting and fully relaxing at the same time. We have absolutely nothing to complain about - except maybe that we had to return to SLC and our flight home after only one night. 더 보기
