바서티 인 사우스 호텔 (Varsity Inn South Hotel) - 콜럼버스

시내에서 가까운 위치에 있어서 버스로 이동하기 적당한 위치임. 객실에 커피메이커, 드라이어, 다리미, 비누, 샴푸, 로션 등이 갖추어짐. 모텔형태라서 현관 밖이 바로 외부통로에 연결되며 주위에 철로가 있어서 가끔 기차지나가는 소리가 난다는 단점이 있음. 주위에 wendys 식사를 해결할 장소가 2-3곳 있어서 편리하고 주유소에서 간단한 먹을 거리를 살수있음. 5분정도 거리에 target 이 있어서 생필품 등 쇼핑도 편리함. 안좋은 기억은 방번호에 착오가 있어서 아침에 관리자가 문을 열려고해서 자다가 놀랐음. 문고리를 걸고 자는 것이 안전할 듯... 아침은 제공되지않지만 로비에 커피가 있음.

The railroad ran right through my room

Right across street from train station so easy to hop a train anywehere or even a bus. Beds are great in room....good size room......over all hotel is so so.

The room had a smell of musk, i made comment to front desk. They just said ok, the room was funky-musky

The good: reasonable price, but not as cheap as it should be; several good restaurants around; nice lady at front desk. The bad: dirty room (2 rooms in same condition), outdated hotel, active train tracks 50 feet from property (see Google maps).

No wifi Internet in the room. There was a train track no more than 50 yards from the room that constantly kept us throughout the night. The beds and pillows were like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Very small room.

We were looking for something close to the convention center for the Arnold and close to campus. We are recent college grads and just wanted a decent place to say. It's not anything fancy but it was a clean room for a night at a good price which was all we were really looking for. The refrigerator temp knob was busted, a pipe in the sink broke spilling water on the floor and the toilet was leaking and it made noises and that was within the first hour of our arrival. Took maintenance forever to arrive both times. For the price of the hotel, this was well worth it. I chose this hotel because it had a king size bed and the other hotels (all more expensive) had double beds. The room had free WIFI, decent TV (local stations and a few cable ones) and close to shopping and the highway.

Beds were clean and comfortable. That was the only good thing about this hotel. Management is quite cheap in their allocation of towels. We also noticed when we checked in that the garbage from the previous customer had not been taken out. When I called the front desk, I was told that the cleaning staff had left for the evening. Took a shower and stood […] in water because it took so long to drain. I also noticed what looked like a bit of old vomit on the wall above the garbage can. The best part of this hotel is its central location. The room set up is really nice as well. There is a desk--king size bed--refrigerator and microwave--all inside one room that doesn't feel tight. easy to find , Drive-thru check-in , close to OSU & High St. Bob Evans & Wendy's restaurant's right next door.

At 10 p.m. our first night, we discovered that a FREIGHT TRAIN RAILROAD track is right behind this hotel! Thankfully, no trains ran between 10:30 and 6:00. This is a motel-style place with doors on the outside, so noise was a factor. Less than a mile from OSU Medical Center. This hotel was perfect for what we needed. There was lots of dust behind the beds and dressers, (I only knew this because I had to move the nightstand.)but overall, it was clean. Considering the price, it was perfect. Went to a convention at the GCCC and this hotel was the perfect short ride and price for the weekend. The drive-thru check in was quick and easy, parking was great and quite a few restaurants within walking distance, along with a gas station. Only few downers were some of the light in our room had no light bulbs, and one of the outlets did not work […] at all. we stayed in room 129. the train tracks were about 30 feet from are room. when a train did come the room was shaking. it was very loud. other then the train the room was just what we needed.

The room was filthy, most notably there was urine and hair all over the toilet bowl rim right after we checked in. Cleaning everywhere else was superficial - look at the corners of the carpet or the top of the shower to see piles of grimy dust. Beyond the mess the building was old and loud. It occurred to me several times that I could have rented a conversion van at the airport for less money, and it would have been cleaner and quieter. everything just below average, not enough towels, sink would not drain

We needed a room for one night near the Ohio State Campus. It was an easy walk to the stadium from the hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the experience was positive.

I like the location of this Varsity Inn. Our room was okay. I killed one and saw two other bugs in the room though.

Just stayed for one night with a couple friends. Nothing fancy but the price was right for the location! Was happy to find a fridge and microwave in the room without having to request it and at no extra charge. Recommended if you're looking for a decent place at a lower price.

The room was extremely clean and very comfortable. It is convenient to get to the OSU campus and many dining spots. It was well worth the stay.

This hotel was very clean, bed was comfortable and it was in walking distance of OSU which was awesome as we were there for the game. The only bad thing was the train that sounded like it was going to run into the room, but other then that it was amazing.

The stay was bery nice. We had an exceptionally clean and well maintained.. The bed was very comfortable. We had a nice stay. Although we did not to enjoy the enminties, the stay was very nice. I would highly recommend this location to others.. And I will be back.

I was very pleased with the hotel. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Rooms had every convenience coffeemaker, microwave, mini fridge iron and ironing board etc. Located in a very good location . Very nice swimmiung pool. Close to our favorite attractions. Will stay at this hotel again. Also staff very helpful and friendly.

The room was very comfortable and nicer than we expected. The beds and linens looked like they had been recently upgraded. But, the towels were rather skimpy. They could use bigger, plusher variety. Having a refrigerator in the room was helpful for cold drinks. The motel is right by the railroad tracks and trains run a few times on certain nights. The staff were pleasant, but not overly helpful. My complaint was the smell...for a non-smoking room there was an extreme smoke smell. When asked for an air freshner at the desk they apologized, but offered no help. If you take the Fabreeze you will be much more comfortable. Bed was comfortable...all appliances worked well. The hotel was nice and it was clean - the staff were pleasant - there were restaurant options close by. Freeway very close and convenient. We had everything we needed.. two beds, a clean room, coffee pot, iron and ironing board.. etc. There is an outdoor pool that was not fancy, but just fine. There is a train that goes by occasionally and it's a bit […] loud. If you're a light sleeper, just ask them to put you on the other side of the building. We had no trouble sleeping through it. Perfect inexpensive place to stay for daughter's orientation at OSU. I thought the room was great(although it was just me), big comfy bed, HBO with an actual decent movie at the time, walking distance to everything. Hint: at orientation learn how to take the campus bus; it's free and will get you very near the hotel.

This hotel was picked for it's proximity to OSU'softball fields. That was it's best feature. Small beds, 2 towels even though the reservation said 2 adults and 2 children; when towels were replaced on second day, only 1 towel was replaced! Internet access was a plus.

The room was very small, it had a bad odor, the carpet desperately needed vaccumed, there were a lot of nats & flies in the room which was very annoying. There was no refridgerator. Its right next to train tracks so you can hear the trains rattle by constantly day and night. We were disappointed with the room because we paid a good amount for it. The […] day before we left to go to the hotel I noticed online they were offering the rooms for about half what we paid in advance. In checking out, we were not asked how our stay was. I thought that was odd. It was close to the Expo center and to area restaurants and gas stations so that was a plus. And the bed was very comfortable. despite what the management said, they have a Wi fi problem, and I could not access the internet, even though I was connected, I had to drop my firewall and stilol could not get access

A nice simple stay. Clean and neat room.

This hotel was about two miles from the arena district. Was good for one night stay, especially if you are in town for the Blue Jackets, Clippers, or in our case a gig at the Lifestyles Pavilion.
