The bathroom door opened up to the bed. I know most of their rooms have the normal configuration with the bath room next to the room door, but I will now always ask to not stay in an "end" room.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, and everything was perfect- the beautiful setting, the courteous staff, the outstanding room and amenities. A personal favorite!

This hotel is all about pampering. What a great place to rest after a long day of vacationing. I loved every minute we spent in the hotel. From the Pool to the morning breakfast, everything was fabulous. Thank you so much for letting us stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night on a whim. The price was reasonable, particularly when you factor in free parking (a lot of other hotels in the Chicago area charge for overnight parking). I visit this hotel a few time a yea, during my home trip to the US from Germany. the hotel is clean and well equipped. I left a jacket in the room and it was returned to me a week later. great staff!

Very nice hotel except they no longer have any decorations for the holiday season. They used to have a tree in lobby and many different colored flowers on the tables on lobby. I sort of miss them all

Stay here often with the kids just to "get-away" for a night. Special requests for a higher floor are always honored. Everyone is so helpful. Will keep going back.

The breakfast was the best and of course, the hotel is best ever!

This was our first stay and my boyfriend and I were very satisfied. From valet, to the lobby (with the beautiful floral arrangements) and front desk staff (who were friendly and helpful) we were impressed...from the room (with a very comfortable bed and nice size) to the view (from the14th floor) we were excited...from the fast service, restaurants […] (my boyfriend loved the breakfast buffet) and location (being a short drive to downtown Chicago) we were satisfied immensely. The Front Desk attendant was very helpful and eager to be of service. The room was very nice and the fitness center is by far one of the best I have ever experienced in a hotel gym. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

If offered a room close to the open lobby, just say no. It sounded like a football stadium all night, I could hear all the commotion from the lobby, and I was 6 flights up!

This was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was large and super nice. It was quiet and restful. We also enjoyed the seating areas on the main floor when relatives came to visit. It was a nice place to sit and talk with plenty of privacy. We look forward to staying here again. I highly recommend it.

The hotel was very nice and had the nicest beds I ever slept on. The room needed to be vacuumed someone had spelled m&m all over the floor but outside of that the hotel room was very pleasant and quiet.

Our families traveled from Michigan and Iowa to celebrate a 45 wedding anniversary and birthday. The Renaissance Schamburg was a great mid-point hotel venue. Most importantly, my inlaws absolutely LOVED it! Kid loved the pool but wished the water was a little less cold.

Stayed for weekend with my two daughters. They enjoyed the pool and the flat screen! Good value for a family stay. Very close to Woodfield mall and not too far out of the city. We will stay again.

This motel was an excellent value for the price. The rooms were extremely nice and very clean. Loved the tv in the bathroom! It was far away from Chicago and the train station was far away as well. We we extremely pleased, will definitely come back. Very clean, everyone was super nice and close to chicago. The shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion they provide was aveda; which is what are family uses. This was a great amenity.

I recently stayed at the Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel from 4/7/11-4/10/11. I have to say this is the best hotel to stay at if your visiting Schaumburg for business or for just some fun. We used this hotel as a quick get-away spot close to shopping and home and came away very impressed with the modern decor, health club, quality of food and overall value. We would defintiely return.

Th e front desk personel made our stay uncomforatble. It is a beautiful hotel, but the female front desk person was rude.

This hotel was outstanding. It was our second time staying at the Renaissance. We came back because we were so impressed the first time. The atmosphere was of excellent quality with comfortable bedding and terrific view of the city. The price was affordable, close to various attractions including a huge mall and many restaurants.

Hotel is excellent for quality of service and bar area, a little high priced in the bar but snacks were very good. The restaurant, Harry and--- still not too great.We didn't dine there because of past experiences and from the number of diners there at 6PM guess other diners are looking for other choices.

Staff was very accomodating and professional. Room was clean and well appointed. Hallways bright and clean. Only issue was that bath towels could be more softer and more available. minor issue. This location just wanted you to enjoy your stay.

I mean wow- guys, they have a 13" flat screen built into the Mirror in the bathroom... Talk about not being bothered while you're in there. This hotel was amazing and very freidnly and accomidating. I felt like a princess walking in. The rooms were very very nice and all their recreational spots were a dream! I wish I could have stayed there longer! And usually I'm dieing to go home.
