Very good value, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms.

I can't fault the room or the service. Wr had a problem with the shower and it was sorted within 20 minutes. BUT Don't have the cooked breakfast. A combination of ultra cheap sausages and dried out scrambled egg with baked beans was on offer. No bacon or mushrooms or black pudding or tomatoes. To all intents and purposes, the hotel was okay. The reception was roomy and clean - a good first impression. The room was just large enough for 2 people and a novelty was having enough shelf space in the bathroom. However, the room was far too hot and even with the draught coming through the "double glazed" window and turning the temperature down, […] it was still uncomfortable. Hotel room doors never seem to close quietly and although there were not many guests during my stay (24 & 25 Dec), there was still enough slamming of doors to wake me during the nights. The single bed was comfortable enough, but a combination of the heat in the room and the too short duvet made sleep so difficult that I cannot remember when I ever had such bad rest on 2 consecutive nights. The hotel was on the outskirts of Nuneaton, so there was no external noise, although the internal noise more than made up for it, but the view from the bedroom window was that of a derelict bombsite. Breakfast was included in the price and had to be, as there was nowhere else to go. That being the case, you would have thought an effort would have been made to provide something decent. But no! Cereals were in boxes (ok), yogurts in pots (again ok), but "fresh" fruit was out of tins. The bread was what I call "pappy", in other words, it did not toast, but just turned black. The "hot" food was only warm and apart from the baked beans inedible. The sausages were tastless and looked as though they had been there from the night before and the scrambled egg was not made from fresh eggs but some kind of processed egg. "You gets what you pays for", but in this case I consider that I was grossly overcharged. 더 보기

The Hotel is located in a developing estate so is not very good looking but the hotel itself was very good !!! We recieved excellent service from all the staff we came in contact with. As our family are located all over the UK we stay in other hotels inns and lodges and without a doubt the HOLIDAY INN in Nuneaton is far and away the best of its kind we have stayed in.The breakfast included in the room price is excellent and all the staff are helpfull.

Room clean and tidy. Convenient for access to hospital (George Eliot) for appointments etc. Restaurants nearby with variety to choose from. Staff friendly and attentive.

Had a family room. Very reasonable rates, very comfortable, modern new facilities, lovely bathrooms and rooms warm. Views not great and very impersonal but as a stopgap perfect and very convenient for the location I was in. Breakfast v. good, only problem, breakfast lady clearing everything away before had completed breakfast and before the breakfast […] time was up which was a rather annoying interlude to an otherwise perfect stay.
