메종 라 미네르베타 (Maison La Minervetta) - 소렌토

This 12-room boutique hotel is perched on the cliffside above Sorrento (along with a string of others) with a panoramic view of Sorrento and the Bay of Naples. It has obviously been recently renovated. The rooms have large windows (floor to ceiling in ours) with contemporary furnishings, bright new bathrooms, and shelves full of books in several languages. […] Lounge areas are comfortable and full of art, fashion, and culturally oriented books and magazines. There is a large terrace, a great place to enjoy the generous breakfast buffet laid out next to the open kitchen -- juice, cereals, fruit, ham, cheese, yogurt, croissants, rolls, butter, jams, cookies, and cakes. Coffee and eggs cooked to order arrive quickly from a pair of cheerful and solicitous ladies eager to keep guests happy. There is a small parking area on the roof above the hotel. The only disadvantage is that Central Sorrento is about a ten-minute walk along a variably narrow sidewalk, so that getting to local restaurants and shops is a little inconvenient. Given the intrinsic appeal of this hotel, however, that's a minor quibble. This is an elegant and charming place to stay in Sorrento. 더 보기

Great hotel! The views (from every room) are stunning, the staff is wonderful, the decor is superb and the cleanliness is impeccable. It's small (only 12 rooms) and they don't have a restaurant on site - so if you're looking for a full service hotel, this may not be for you. But they have a wonderful breakfast spread in the morning and will serve you […] drinks and munchies all day and night to enjoy on the amazing terrace, by the pool, or in your room. It's a short (ten minute) walk to town, but we enjoyed being able to walk off the meals we ate in town every night. They also have free parking, whick makes the hotel convenient to use as a base to explore other parts of the Amalfi coast. 더 보기

It doesn't get better than the Maison La Minervetta. Book one of the delux rooms like number 8. The staff is superb. The location is the very best in town. The view is to die for. The design is beyond anything I could have ever expected. The breakfast was a real treat. Spotless rooms, modern well maintained hotel with all aspects of your stay considered. […] One of the most romantic places I have ever stayed. Would go back tomorrow for a month if I could. The stairs and tiny elevators down to the fishing harbor are charming and fun. Honeymooners or lovers take note and get a room at this hotel. 더 보기
