There is NOTHING wrong with this hotel. Loved the kitchenette double room suite. Cleanliness of the room was superb. Amenities provided by the hotel were awesome. Was a little apprehensive after seeing several scathing reviews, but this place was really cozy. Two guests had to share the sleeper sofa and they said it was not very comfortable - but then, it's a sleeper sofa. We were in town for a bicycling event and just needed a place to sleep, relax, and clean ujp after the ride. The annual Cruisers car event […] was going on, and the cars were up and down Coastal Highway until around 11 PM or so - earplugs were a necessity as the bedroom was directly over the highway. Enjoyed proximity to the beach, free parking and use of hotel beach towels and chairs. Wish the hotel was atleast within walking distance of the boardwalk. Front Desk area also is not too appealing visially, although the staff was friendly and helpful.

I had a terrible nigth did not have any sleep at all.i found bed bug on the beds. dusty room and beds,we had to change all the beds ourself,with new bed sheets. we will never spend another nigth there again.

It was what we expected. We liked it and was very roomy. We didn't mind the walk to the beech. We had alway stayed in Ocean front room previously, but with the tough times our work has been slower, so we had less money to spend. We felt lucky to find a clean hotel so close to the beech that we all can afford and still go out for dinner.

This place is okay. It is old, but the room was clean and large. The staff was incredibly nice. The beach is a small block away. The beds were not very comfortable.

The hotel staff were very friendly and knowledgable about nearby restaurants. The room amenities were great for our needs. The room cleaning staff were very effective. The calm swimming pool was popular with the children after the rough ocean waves. The close proximity of restaurants and shopping was extremely convenient.

We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of room there was given that we had two double beds and a separated room for a sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa was not comfortable, but helped us out a lot with 2 adults and 3 children. Close to the beach and within walking distance of eating establishments. Plenty of parking. Room was very clean.

Hotel is in a very nice location, easy accessibility to the beach, free beach chairs and beach towels, convenient parking, rooms are clean, kitchen appliances, lobby and entire hotel need renovation.

We stayed 3 days and 3 nights. The location is good for families, way at the north end of the long island drive from the boardwalk and the silliness of college kids, etc. at the south end - which you can drive to but also get away from. The hotel is a short block and a half from the sand, very convenient and no major street to cross since you're on […] the beach side of the main drag. The room was good, bedroom (2 beds) plus a den with a pull-out sofa. The boys liked that option as it has its own TV and they can close the door so they don't have to listen to what Mom and Dad are watching. The nicest thing might be that our room also had a private balcony opposite the entry/outdoor hallway side. It faced the sometimes-loud main street but on the 3rd floor that was OK. Good spot for breakfast. They also loan out beach chairs and big towels, and there's an indoor pool if it rains. A good option for families. The elevator was very slow...there are only 5 floors, however, there would be times you would wait over 5 minutes for the hotel. The walls are paper thin, so if you have loud neighbors, you hear everything(including their bathroom adventures)

The hotel was clean and spacious. Right on the beach and reasonable distance from the boardwalk. Would definitely recommend. Only downfall was that maintenance came back several times to try to tweak the kitchen sink unsuccessfully that we did not even plan on using.

Location not to bad. Room was nice until went to the bedroom. One of the beds was right on the wall. Could not get a good night sleep with the wall right in my face. Room had a foul oder called the front desk they send someone to spray the room, helped somewhat. Not a bad place if you going to be out the entire time.

Plesantly surprised by the decor and amenities provided in the hotel room. Idle location to some of the attractive events in the area such as restaurants, retail stores, theatre and shopping outlets.

It was convenient to have two burners but the kitchen sink is so small it takes like 30 min to wash one pot also the water was like that of a water fountain. Clean and comfortable room on the north end of Ocean City. We stayed during 4th of July week and it was still pretty relaxed on this end of OC. Especially like the suite set up. We were able to put our little one to bed and still watch tv in the living area without disturbing him. They even have complimentary beach chairs.

Little bit like stepping back into the 70's, and quite noisy in the main bedroom, even on the 5th floor. However, it seemed similar to every other hotel around.... And the people in the room next door could have been standing in our room, the adjoining door had absolutely no noise reducing capability at all..

This was such a pleasant surprise! We never thought that we would get a 2 room suite that was so roomy, clean and had all the little extras included. They had an area to store your luggage and shoes, shelves for your towels, etc. and even left dish soap and towels for you to clean your dishes. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and nice size plus about a block from the beach. Nothing spectacular, but a nice place for a relatively inexpensive few nights to the beach.
