Exhausted from our drive, my boyfriend and I dropped our bags and laid on the bed to rest for a few moments before heading to dinner. He then asked if there was a bug on the ceiling above us. It was in fact and he caught it in a plastic cup and proceeded to take it to the front desk where the clerk (gray haired man) told him "yeah we have seen these […] here before, I think they are beetles. I'll give it to our exterminator this week thanks." My boyfriend then looked closer at the room where we found cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and hairs on the toilet. The bathroom smelled of urine as if the house keeping staff had not disinfected it, but simply wiped it down. This is a rat hotel hiding behind the Econo name. I would strongly encourage corporate office to pay a surprise visit to this location!!! I also have pictures to prove the review but can not seem to attach them. 더 보기

It was ok

We expected the room to be bigger and the breakfast to be decent but both were disappointing! It was very convenient to most everything and the staff was friendly. So if you're looking for a short stay it may work for you but we'll certainly do our "homework" next time!

The desk clerk was super nice and had a terrific personality ... the only thing I didn't like was when I asked her for a good seafood restaurant, and she suggested Huck Finn's. Yes, they do have seafood ... but they are mostly a Catfish Restaurant!! There are some great seafood places in Pigeon Forge, but Huck Finn's is NOT one of them!! We had a great stay at the Econo-lodge. It is located right in the middle of all the action in Pigeon Forge. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The room was clean and comfy which are my main concerns in choosing a hotel. The staff was friendly. There is a new teen club next door which was very loud til around midnight. There is an amusement golf / go cart place on the other side which is loud too. But if you are not early to bed you will be fine. The breakfast is upgraded from last time we […] stayed there. The staff was very friendly. Location is awsome, right in middle of all restaurants & attractions. Good place to stay for a short getaway. The breakfast was, well, you get what you pay for. A free breakfast with stale doughnuts & orange water.

TV was broken with sound and the remote did not work. My room keys did not work the firdt two times. The place did the job but could have been better with a little more attention to detail.

Great location. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! I'd stay again :)

I have to say that this hotel was very clean and nice. I would rate it a *** star.

Pool with slide was a hit with the 3 year old. Easy to get to Dollywood on the shuttle by driving a short distance to Patriot Park.

The hotel could have been cleaner. Dead bugs in the lights. The covers need to be washed every now and then. The pool needs to be cleaned. The breakfast was really bad. That was a big disappointment. They should take pride in their business . We did have a good time though. Wont ever stay here again. Thank you

Staff was incredibly friendly. Room could've been a little cleaner, but overall, I would stay again. Can't beat the price!

We selected the Econolodge based on price and reviews on hotels.com. Were disappointed in the condition of the "newly renovated" rooms. We had two rooms, one had bare carpeting with tacks sticking up and roaches (both dead and alive), the other room had a bathtub that did not drain at all and a bed that was so bad that as soon as my husband laid down […] he rolled off onto the floor. The breakfast in the morning was a pretty poor selection of toast, coffee, and cereal. All served in a small, hot room. The biggest positives this hotel had were the pool and the view. The view of the river was nice and having the access to the river so close and easy was good too. The pool had a great slide and umbrella wading pool for the non-swimmers. I would not return to this hotel. Definitely showing age and poor renovation. Can't beat how close you are to everything in Pigeon Forge, but there are many other hotels with the same amenities and better quality. 더 보기

Very pleased with Hotels.com and Super8. The Hotels.com staff was very helpful, especially when we had to make a change to our reservation. The Super8, at which we stayed, was easy to find, very clean, affordable, and the beds were comfortable. The free breakfast was also a plus. The kids loved the indoor pool. The staff was really nice & helpful, however, the room was less than attractive. They updated the furniture, but the bed was hard, took up the entire room (King), the door hit the chairs when opened because the room was so small, and the bathroom was gross. It was somewhat expected with the cost, but wish it was suitable for showering & not just sponge […] baths... The bath tub & sink were in need of plumbing and cleaning. This is also not uncommon for Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. You will find MANY hotels/motels that have not been renovated/updated since they opened. Many are small spaces, with unfriendly accommodations (bathrooms). It's okay for one night, but any longer than that and you'll be smelly! 더 보기

The hotel was old and a bit dingy. The bathrooms in the rooms are extremely small and outdated. Also I noticed that the sink, toilet and floor boards were not well kept. My sheets had cigarette burns in them. Needless to say I couldn't wait to check out the next day. I made sure to wear shoes/shower shoes the entire time. This hotel was good for the price and location. The kids enjoyed the pool more than anything because of the waterslide. The kitchen area needs to be separate from the check-in area and more space. The only other problem was the shower curtain rod was not put up correctly and it slanted causing water to run out. Told at checkout and he made a note of […] it. The location is great. However, with the pool being filled with children with no parents who were rude, played on the slide in dangerous manners, and hotel desk clerks did nothing and the horse play was out of controll!!!! When we first checked in I reported the wi-fi not working and the whole week while we were there, it was not fixed and the hotel […] did not even discount the rate for that inconvience. Our stay was great! The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel was close to everything, go-carts, putt-putt, and shopping all in walking distance. The river runs behind the hotel and there is a gate for access to the river, my kids absolutely loved seeing and feeding the ducks on the river bank. There […] is even a machine with duck food that I know my kids spent at least 5$ in. The only thing I would change is the size of the pool, it is a little small for the size of the hotel and was always packed to capacity, but for the cost of the hotel it is WELL worth it, I have stayed and many of the hotels Pigeon Forge has to offer and have paid more and gotten less. Window units vs. central air. Hair Dryer in room did not work. Cleaning service was forgotten on our third day. The bed was not comfortable one bit. Overall we did not spend much time,except to sleep in the hotel which made it sustainable. Will look for better hotels in the future.

The room was clean, nice and had everything we needed...microwave, coffee pot and small fridge..I would consider staying there again and would recommend it to others.Everyone was also very friendly.

We stayed for a week and didn't have one bit of trouble...the pool and slide is excellent for kids and grown ups alike...you will not be disappointed.
