Warm and friendly staff. Great place to stay.

This hotel on the opposite side of Lake Luzern from the Bahnhof is a very old building and our room had lovely wooden ceiling beams. The room was large with a desk and sitting area. Shower was the largest we've ever had in Europe. Very modern. The receptionists were very friendly and knowledgable and the breakfast buffet was filling and extensive. The […] elevator stops between floors so you will either have to stop above your room's floor or below. Just a note for anyone who has problems with stairs. And now, the bathroom door: The door is made of 5 glass panels. The middle three are frosted glass, but the top and bottom panels are clear glass. Since the door of the bathroom is just a few inches from the toilet, when someone is using the toilet the other person outside the bathroom can view their feet with, perhaps, their pants down around their ankles. Does anyone really need to see that? The glass also possibly increases any "sounds" coming from the bathroom. Also, if you get up during the night, turning on the bathroom light will shed light through to the bedroom possibly awakening the other person. Who makes these design decisions? Also, there was the distinct aroma of cigarette smoke throughout the halls. So, just a warning, if these are things you might care about. 더 보기

This hotel is close to the lake, the Bahnhof, and the main city attractions. It is right next to a church that plays its bells every 15 minutes. That makes it a little difficult to sleep with the windows open. The rooms are small. The staff is helpful. The breakfast is wonderful and the breakfast room is very pretty.

we had a great stay at the Rebstock. really friendly and welcoming. a great breakfast and very good restaurant. also good value for the price. next time we will come to Luzern we shall definitely return to this hotel!

This hotel is perhaps not what I'd expect in international terms for a four star hotel, but in view of how expensive everything is and the somewhat small town nature of Lucerne I guess it was acceptable. If you want the usual four star conveniences like coffee facilities in room and little bottles of bath soap, you might have to spend a little more in this town. Also watch that if you order a queen bed, its actually a queen bed, not two singles next to eachother but with seperate linen. Not a 4-star in US standards, but personnel very nice, location very good. Property is slightly tired; exterior appearance not great. Pleased with the stay altogether.

We had a very nice experience in the Hotel. People always willing to assist you on any requirement, very nice and knowledgeable. Room was very cozy, and confortable. Also the hotel location is excellent since it is in the middle of everything. Ferdinand (Hotel manager) was always trying to make you feel the best. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel! I booked an extra small room (to save some $$) and was very surprised to find your average room size, if not slightly bigger then rooms in places such as Rome and and Paris. The location was fantastic, close to everything and an amazing lake view. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The Rebstock is in an excellent location for visiting the old town and the lake. The staff were very, very friendly and helpful. Great location. Walking distance to the bahnhof, the harbor, the old town, and many, many amazing vistas. Great staff. Courteous, thoughtful, knowledgeable, helpful, and upbeat. Ferdie (owner/manager) is one of a kind. We'll definitely go back.

Very nice hotel with a good location near the lake and close to shopping in Old Town and the Sleeping Lion. The staff was very helpful. The hotel provided quite good and healthy breakfast. Our room is surrounded by pretty flowers on the windowsill which make the air even fresher. The people in hotel are very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant downstair provided very delicious local and international food and the waiter was very friendly and kindly introduced the menu and drinks […] for us. What not to LOVE, very easy to get around in the lovely city. It is my second trip here and have loved it. Some complained of the Chirch bells, I didn't find them to be a problem. The problem we had was with the city workers repthing the roads at 1:30 in the morning even on the weekend. The Hotel was quite nice and the breakfast was wonderful

I had booked a room for 3 people and imagine my surprise when i got an apartment of 3 bedrooms and a large hall + a kitchen. The apartment (room no 158)was on the 5 th floor and the view was fantastic, I could see the lake Lucerne and the fabled wooden bridge right from the apartment !!! The breakfast was also very good, and service very prompt and […] efficient. The location of the hotel is also very central and right near the lake and all the tourist attractions are at about 5-10 minutes walk . The railway station is also about 1 - 1.5 kms away, almost walking distance if you are light in luggage. Highly recommended. 더 보기

We went in July and It's hot and there is not A/C in the Room. We can't even open the windows because it's extremely noisy at this place. There is a bar downstairs and it is in an intersection to 2 major roads and next to a church. So you could hear all kinds of noises all night long. We couldn't rest properly at this place at all. Everything was good, as expected. Especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, there is a small tax fee for the breakfast that's not mentioned in the hotel booking. Only negative is price, but everything in Switzerland is expensive anyway.

Extremely noise with paper thin windows, location is next to road with lots of traffic and bus route.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, ca. 50 Meter neben dem See. Ein schnuckliges, verwinkeltes Hotel mit einem unverwechselbaren Charme.

Ich hatte in letzter Minute das einzige noch freie Zimmer gebucht und es war mir klar, dass ich jetzt halt nehmen muss, was es noch hat. Trotzdem hat das Empfangsteam sehr engagiert alle Hebel in Bewegung gesetzt und für einen geringen Aufpreis habe ich ein wunderschönes Erkerzimmer erhalten! Auch das Frühstück war sehr fein.

Hotellet ligger dejligt - i anden række ud mod Vierwaldstättersøen ikke særlig langt fra banegården, men fra vores værelse på øverste etage var trafikstøjen slem både fra tidlig morgen og til sent om aftenen. Pæn morgenbuffet, uden at være prangende.

Mysigt ställe delvis i gammal korsvirkesstil, med små rum och knarrande trappor. Helt underbart hotell i hjärtat av stan, trevlig och mycket hjälpsam personal.

Sehr zentral gelegen, zu Fuss schnell bei Sehenswürdigkeiten und Altstadt und sofort am See; im historischen Teil des Hotels knarrt der Boden, aber das kleine Zimmer war sehr zweckmässig eingerichtet; bei Sonnenschein konnte ich das Frühstück vom Buffet draussen geniessen.

Das Hotel befindet sich nahe zum See und zur Altstadt. Das Zimmer im historischen Teil ist eher klein aber zweckmässig eingerichtet. Gute Preis / Leistung. Am Sonntag Frühstück bis 15 Uhr!
