BAR HARBOR MANOR - 바 하버

We had a nice second floor suite in a very convenient location for the tourist mecca of Bar Harbor. Room was clean and comfortable. Mattress was too hard for my old back was my only complaint.

Nice accomodations and atmosphere. We had a small second floor suite. Location was fine. We just needed a place to get away and relax, enjoy the food, see the great sites, and do some shopping. Booked this without knowing much about Bar Harbor or Maine and it worked-out great.

This hotel was very nice, clean and had nice amenities, I highly recommend it. It's within walking distance of lots of great places to eat, shopping and the harbor.

We had a huge room in the annex. It was very comfortable and clean with a lovely shower in the bathroom. Being in the annex was no problem - in fact it had the advantage that we could park our hire car right in front of our block. Although there is no breakfast at the hotel, there is a great place a few minutes walk away called Cafe this way. The room was well appointed and fairly modern. The room came with a great patio and was a 5 minute walk from downtown Bar Harbor. The prices was reasonable. I don't see why we wouldn't stay here again next time we go to Acadia. A very nice inn.

Convenient to restaurants, sightseeing, all of the downtown Bar Harbor locations.

Loved the location and especially the cleanliness. The grounds were story book....the only problem--very uncomfortable beds. You need to change the mattresses to maybe something like Therapeudic--these were hard and bouncy.

This hotel is situated near the harbor area and shops and dining with quick access to Acadia Park. The hotel is well maintained; we had a room in the "hotel" part. It was quaint, not fancy but clean and reasonable with a large bathroom. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would stay there again upon our next trip to Bar Harbor.

We stayed in a suite which was very romantic. The location is perfect for walking to all of the restaurants/shops.

The Bar Harbor Manor was an absolute gem! It is a beautiful, meticulously cared-for, older property with all the charm of Old New England. We had a suite which was spacious and comfortable. The deck area was the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail and a chat. The receptionist was very helpful and we were unexpectedly upgraded to a King suite with fireplace. The suite was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was within easy walking distance of the downtown area. I would recommend this hotel.

The motel is located on a quite side street within walking distance of the center of town. It is very well maintained and comfortable. A good buy.

I stayed at the Bar Harbor Manor during a business trip in May 2011, and was extremely pleased with the hotel. It is conveniently located on a quaint side street in Bar Harbor, within easy walking distance to the shops,restaurants, and the port. Bar Harbor Manor was everything I'd hoped for in a place to stay. I went online hoping to find non-chain hotel accomodations in Bar Harbor that were clean and modern and centrally-located, and within walking distance from shopping and eating - and reasonably priced. Bar Harbor Manor was it, and am I ever glad we took the chance. My wife often chooses […] chain hotels for our travel accomodations because she's comfortable with the consistency of their rooms and service. She was leary of deviating from that formula for this trip. But I took a chance on Bar Harbor Manor for the reasons stated above. The Bar Harbor Manor was a terrific place to stay within 5 minute walking distance of main St. The room was very large and was divided into a sitting area and sleeping area. It had a new generous size refrigerator and coffee machine. Best of all was the gas fireplace, which came in handy, since it was quite cold for October. We would recommend the Bar Harbor Manor .Very comfortable room ,well furnished and well maintained. Owners very friendly and helpful . Not much space to hang clothes in the room - but that often appears to be the case in the U.S.A. Obtained splendid breakfast 2 minutes walk away . The room e stayed in ha a great view. It was on the fourth floor. There is no elevator. They notified us offered to give us another room before we could even comment. The room was off alone and very quiet.

A terrific hotel. Very close to everything in Bar Harbor. Very helpful staff. I would stay there again!

Located in downtown Bar Harbor, but slightly away from the heavy foot traffic. Perfect for the quiet get-away with walking access to all the action: restaurants, shops, harbor and nature. Park once and enjoy your stay for a week!

My husband and I planned a mini weekend getaway and picked Bar Harbor Manor. I was not disappointed! It is conveniently located, only a couple blocks from the Harbor and area restaurants. Our room was exceptionally clean and the bathroom was fairly good sized compared to other places we stayed at. I highly recommend Bar Harbor Manor.

The hotel is close (walking distance) with the main attractions. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. If you look for a quiet, clean and very well positioned hotel for vacation, this will be a very good place to spend time and enjoy your vacation. I recomand it and I will go back soon.
