Our hotel stay was an enjoyable one but I suggest that you get some room service(food) in the future or build a restaurant in the lobby area.

For a somewhat last minute reservation for spring break it was a good deal but the so-called suite was barely a jr suite with the only diff between it and the regular 2 queen room being the horrid sofabed. I had to call down for bed linens and make it myself, and with that only brought up 2 topsheets. The mattress had to be as old as dirt because there […] were springs poking through. I didnt expect much from a sofabed but this fell well below my low expectations. We had specifically asked if the bedroom and living room part were separate rooms with separate tv's and were told yes. Not so. We have 4 kids so need adjoining or suite to sleep 6. we really enjoyed our stay at CS during our visit to North padre island, the ocean view was amazing, hotel is well maintained and clean, good breakfast, helpful staff. couldnt ask for more. we will stay here again.

I was a little annoyed that breakfast was from 6-10 and and 6am their was no food out. I had to leave and could not wait for them to get it out. If you post that breakfast is at 6am then food should be out by then

I recently stayed at this hotel and about an hour after I left I remembered leaving my apple phone charger, I immediately called the hotel to let them know that I was coming back to get it. I told them what room I was in and exactly where it was. They said that they would call me back in 15 minutes. This didn't happen so I called them back after a while, […] the front desk told me that the room had already been cleaned and it wasn't there. When we first checked in, the desk clerk reminded me of someone working at a sleazy hotel in a tv show, he had no personality and it seemed to be a bother having to do his job. the first room we were given smelled, the second was better and improved when it was aired out. The view of the water is over a road and nest to a Hotel parking lot that is actually […] on the beach. The beach was not very inviting. The breakfast buffet was OK but nothing to rave about. If you MUST be in this area, avoid this hotel it is not a bargain or even reasonable at the price charged! 더 보기

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel, it's convenient location to both Port A and Corpus. You can walk to the beach!!

I felt the staff was very helpful and accommodating. the rates were reasonable; especially considering the continental breakfast was included. I would stay at this hotel again.

The beds were great! Soft & comfortable EXCEPT for the sofabed which was terribly uncomfortable. If you need that extra bed, forget it. Location & everything else was great.

the hotel is by the water. It is across the street. The biggest disappointment is that nobody informed us of the red tide (dead fish along the water along the entire coast) the smell was the worst and the scene was horrible and can be deadly to dogs that come in contact and air born too humans that have respiratory problems(like me) . After 4 hours […] of driving I was livid and not to mention a dead roach in the ice bucket and a torn up couch and a view of the Holiday Inn and grass. I will never visit this facilty again. Kocated right across the street from the beach and a real good price!

Stay was a pleasant one! Free breakfast everyday was wonderful. First trip to North Padre - won't be my last!!! Vicki - Houston, Tx.

On first glance, this appeared to be a nicer hotel, At check-in, the elevator was not working, and our room was on the 4th floor. The smoke detector had been removed from our room; we reported to it the front desk. There were several holes in the sheetrock which were obvious and should have been easy to repair. We had a nice balcony with a view of the […] Gulf, but how about a couple chairs to sit on? The free breakfast was a little underwhelming. The waffle maker never got hot enough to thoroughly cook a waffle. However, the staff was pleasant, and in fact, insisted on making my husband's waffle for him. If you don't look too close, and don't set your expecations too high, it's OK, although I hope someone got the smoke detector replaced!! 더 보기

The service here is terrible. Our room was not ready until two hours after the promised check in time. The staff was arguing in front of the gueast and did not seem to care about our comfort at all. The second day we chose not to have our room cleaned since they were clearly understaffed or the the staffed was not well trained, but when we requested […] clean towels at the desk we were told they were behind on laundry and to come back in a couple of hours. The entire hotel was a mess. I understand being near a beach that it is more difficult to maintain, but I didn't see much of an effort. The carpets were worn, dirty and had wrinkles in them. The air was either off or not working well in common areas. The elevator was quite frankly scarry. It moaned as it went up and was extremely slow. We were on the forth floor and chose to use the stairs as many of the guests did. 더 보기

The hotel was across the street from the ocean had and ocean view and most comfy king bed. Did not have beach access but all we did was walk across the hotel parking lot across from us and were on the gulf all day was great and cheaper than hotel across the street by bout 50 dollars had great time and would stay again

The hotel was clean and convenient location to the beach. The problem we had was a hole in the floor near the bathroom. We told the front desk and then had to wait 30 minutes for them to send someone to take a look at it. Then they offered us another room. We moved all of our things to the new room and found the a/c was not working properly. There were […] no other rooms for us to switch to so we had to stay in the room with the hole. My husband rolled up a towel and stuffed the hole. It was uncomfortable to stay thinking that something would crawl through the hole. They did not even offer to discount the room for us. 더 보기

A great location for those who love the beach. Not many places to eat near by but the traffic is not real bad around the hotel. Good break fast and clean room. The couch bed was in bad shape but the other beds were nice. The bathtub did not drain well due to sand from previous guests. clean rooms. The only thing i was concerned about was not having enough supplies, such as pillows and blankets

Our suites were quite small and did not have a kitchenette which was what I thought I was getting. My TV remote did not work. We had 2 rooms for 3 Adults/5 kids and we felt very crowded. With 5 kids it was very expensive to eat our meals out in the island restaurants. The 2 rooms we got were quite expensive, I have stayed at better hotels for less money. […] When I got to the hotel I asked if rooms with a kitchenette were available and the clerk said yes but since I went through a 3rd party she couldn't make a change. Our pullout sofabed was broken and not usable. The queensize beds were very comfortable and clean, the bathroom was also very clean. Breakfast was good. Pool was somewhat small for the size of the hotel. The beaches were full of dried seaweed which was very dissappointing. I thought they would have been better maintained. It was an expensive vacation and I learned that I need to do a better job of researching hotel suites and nicer beaches. 더 보기

This was a very nice hotel. The beds were soft and the service was great. We forgot something and called later and they found it and shipped it home to us. They were so nice about it. The breakfast was great with lots of hot selections, though I missed biscuits and gravy. The beach is a 3 minute walk and it is a very nice beach with warm water and gentle […] waves (perfect for kids). The hotel is near restaurants and stuff on Padre Island, but if you want to do anything in downtown Corpus Christi like the aquarium or the USS Lexington it is about a 30 minute drive. Corpus Christ is big! My one slight complaint is the location of the air conditioner in the rooms - if you use the sofa bed, the sofa bed blocks the air conditioner so those who sleep in the sofa bed freeze but everyone else in the room is hot, It wasn't a big deal though - we just put extra blankets on the sofa bed and cranked up the AC and we were okay. My daughter, grandson and I stayed here and we had a great time. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was alot nicer than you normally get. This motel is right across the street from the beach. The beach is really nice and clean. Also we had a room with a balcony that faced the ocean, I was up bright and early to watch the most beautiful sunrise. […] A really great view. The hotel is simple and nice. Great location across the street from beautiful beach and ocean. No restaurants or bars but hotel across the street has both. No real nightlife or restaurants in walking distance, fairly secluded and quiet. Was exactly what we were looking for.

The stay was great!!! I was literally across the street from the beach. We stayed in the suite was a separate King bed and our kids had a queen bed and a queen sofa sleeper. I enjoyed my stay with my husband and two babies. It was our first trip together so it was great that everything went smoothly. I was very happy with the service and the quality of the hotel. I felt like I was staying in a 4 star hotel but without the price. We weren't that far from the beach access roads and it was a quiet slightly secluded area so […] we didn't have to worry about the loud hustle and bustle of the city. My only concern was that the pool area was a little small and it could have been taken care of a little more regularly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was good and offered a good selection of foods. Overall our stay was one to remember and I will definitely be staying again. 더 보기

The Comfort Inn was chosen because of proximty to South Padre Island. The room was decent, but the sleeper sofa appeared really old, the red was so faded it was it was almost orange/pink looking. At checkin, they charge you an additional $50.00 for incidentals which no other hotel I stayed has never done..waiting on refund from that charge. The bathroom […] was small and was booked for three adults and two children...we were only given two towels, I would think that the people in charge of prepping the rooms would make note of how many people will be staying to make proper accomodations. There are no decent restuarants near this place and to eat a decent meal you will have to drive about 20-30 minutes away, which defeated the purpose of booking this room to be near the Padre Islands. This was a one night booking so not much lost. I did not visit the pool so comments to add for that. Previous to this visit to Corpus, we stayed at a Holiday Inn for about 20 dollars cheaper, which was a better value and better place to stay at. This was my first stay at a Comfort Inn and will be my last. There are other hotel chains at comparable prices that provide a better place. 더 보기

We had a great time. The location was awesome right across the street from the beach. I only wish they had a paved sidewalk to get to the beach you have to go thru the Holiday Inn parking lot. We had a room with a balcony and oceanview. This hotel doesn't have direct access to the beach, but it's just a short walk accross the street and you're there. It was quite a bit cheaper than the hotel across the street with direct access to the beach which is why we chose it, and it still had great views and cool ocean breezes. Thank You so much for accomodating us. It was a breautiful day when we stayed. It was a good stay. We went out to eat late and it was surprising to see not enough restraunts on the island and the ones there close early there We ate at a bar . It appeared clean & was comfortable until we saw roaches. The desk personnel were notified & said "we'll spray" . The bugs continued. We took an example to the desk. The manager (Pakash Patel) was never available to us. Of course we had to travel & couldn't wait hours for the manager to arrive. We have since tried to call him with no response. We have been all over the world....and a 3 star hotel......well..... is 3stars..... This is a cute comfortable hotel.......... is more like a 4 .....4.5. Across the street from a beautiful beach. Pool is small, but breakfast was excellent. Staff was awesome and rooms were very clean. I had 11 in my party with 3 rooms and everybody had the same opinion as mine. We will definately stay there again!

Hotel was very close to beach. Excellent marks for creature comfort: bed was comfortable, room was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful in giving directions to restaurants. Breakfast included hot eggs. On the whole, we are happy with our experience during our stay.

We had a great stay, the hotel is close enough to the beach for us...a short walk away. Have to say: VERY comfortable beds! Slept great... Was a little worried about spring break crowds, but mostly families and no wild parties near us.
