호텔 멜라 (Hotel Mela) - 뉴욕

위치는 타임스퀘어에서 가까워 매우 편했네요 그리고 서비스는 최고는 아니었지만 보통이상의 후회들지 않는 서비스였네요 방이 좁았지만 맨해튼 최고의 위치에서 이정도면 만족합니다. 주로 잠만 자고 해서 모든 면이 좋아보였네요~

Mela는 55th에 있으며, 블록에서 조용한 반쪽에 있습니다. Times Square까지 걸어서 갈 수 있습니다. 호텔은 깨끗하고 디자인도 좋습니다. - 정말 모던합니다. 더블, 스탠다드 룸에 있는 침대는 정말 작은 트윈입니다. 그 외에는 좋습니다.

시끄럽고 약간 냄새남다. 킹사이즈 침대를 예약했는데 퀸사이즈 침대를 줬다. 내가 상상한 결혼 기념일이 아니었다.

유일한 문제는 샤워기였다. 벽 대신 커튼이 있어서 샤워를 하고 나면 전체 화장실 바닥이 젖었다. 위치는 환상적이었다.

기본적으로 오래된 호텔인데 좀 더 모던하게 보아려고 최근에 업그레이드를 좀 했다. 업무 때문에 여기 다시 올 것이지만 주말 여행으로 가족이나 여성들이 올 곳은 아니다. 방은 작지만 NYC에서는 어디나 그렇다. Bryant Park, Times Square/Theatres에 정말 가깝다. 지하철 정류소 근처의 Uptown에 걸어서 갈 수 있다. 헬스장은 작지만 심장에 좋다. 헬스장인데 웨이트나 "추가되는 것들"이 없다. 아침에 로비에서 커피를 제공했는데 좋았다. 엘리베이터는 정말 오래됐고 느리다.

좋은 서비스. 깨끗한 방. 좋은 위치. Times Square 바로 근처. 근처에 좋은 식당 좀 있음. 유일한 불만은 방 크기와 침대이다. 아무리 작은 것 같아도 그보다는 두 배는 클 것이다. 풀 베드는 거의 방에 맞지 않는다. 광고는 4성급 호텔이라고 하는데 아니다. 등급 매길 때 방 크기도 고려해야 한다고 생각한다. 6x6 피트 방을 4성급 호텔이라고 하는 것은 말도 안 된다. 전반적으로 좋은 곳이다. 위치에 비해 비교적 싸다. 아마도 다시 갈 것이다(확실하지는 않다.). 크기가 중요하다면 추천하지 않는다.

호텔은 정말 귀엽고 Times Square 바로 근처에 있다. 쇼핑이 편리하다. 기타 등등. 방은 작다. 대부분의 NYC 방들이 그렇듯이 하지만 화장실은 정말 크다! 호텔에서 주는 샴푸, 로션은 탁월하다. 비행기 타고 오면서 샴푸를 가져올 수 없기 때문에 중요하다. 등등... 여기 반드시 다시 오겠다.

와이프와 나는 25번 째 결혼 기념식을 위해 Mia에 투숙했다. 정말 즐겁게 지냈다. 호텔은 깨끗했다. 직원들은 정말 도움이 되었다. 브로드웨이 쇼와 레스토랑 위치에 대해여 주소를 찾아 주었다. 돌아왔을 때 침대에 작은 선물이 있었다. 여자 중 한 명이 오늘이 우리 기념일이라고 말하는 것은 들었기 때문이었다. 여기 다시 올 것이다.

호텔은 관광에 정말 적합한 위치에 있다. 방은 정말 작고, 장식이 좋다. 비즈니스 센터가 업무를 하지 않아서 엄청 불편했다. 사과는 좋았지만 오프 사이트 벤더들에게는 별 효과가 없었다. NY에서 너무 좋았다. 가격도 적당했다.

Very nice and clean hotel. The first room they put us in was the size of a small broom closet although neat and clean. We complained to the manager and he was very nice and gave us a larger room at no charge. The Hotel is right by Times Square and if you like the hubbub this is the place for you. I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Despite being practically in Times Square (which I would normally avoid) the street was quiet, there are several very nice restaurants just feet away, the look and feel of the hotel is sleek and modern and the people were very nice. I would definitely stay there again.

My room was on the second floor which is also the location of the fitness room, so i could hear the TV from the fitness room loud and clear in my room because you could have slipped a laptop through the gap at the bottom of my door. After a long trip I stayed here overnight d/t a layover at JFK. The bed was so comfortable I had a great sleep. The service was superb. The location was perfect for shopping, Times Square, theatre district, museums, everything. They let me have a late check out no problem, they let me leave my luggage while I walked around manhattan after checkout, […] and they arranged for my cab back to JFK. I've stayed at Hotel Mela twice so far. The location is great if you are looking to stay in Times Square and there are lots of touristy things to do and see within walking distance: Rockefeller Center, Crystal Building, Empire State Building, 30 Rock, Eataly, MoMA, etc. The rooms were clean and comfortable both times I stayed. For a boutique hotel, […] this place isn't annoyingly modern. Style-wise, they got it right. Everything was great and I would recommend it to friends and family. However, I would give Hotel Mela two strikes against it after my most recent stay for the following reasons. We had a room right next to the elevator, so we could hear both the elevator moving behind the wall as well as lots of foot traffic and noise in the hallway (and they could probably hear everything I did as well). Secondly, the bed was comfortable but not as comfortable as most other hotel beds in the city. The mattress was not firm enough for my liking and the fitted sheet was worn and pilled. But, again, I would recommend Hotel Mela to friends and fam looking to stay in Times Square... I would just tell them to request more private room and perhaps speak up if the sheets need to be replaced. 더 보기

Although the rooms are small, the size is sufficient. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. We stayed four nights and did not encounter any problems and will stay here again.

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights in february 2013 and had a fantastic time. The hotel position literally could not be better, it was a 30 second walk to the centre of times square, but also extremely quiet during the day and night. The room was more than big enough for the two of us, and to be honest we were pretty much only in there when we […] were sleeping. The maid service was fantastic and the room was cleaned ever day with fresh towels etc. The staff were very helpful, giving us directions to train and bus terninals whn we were venturing out of the city to the jersey gardens outlet mall and over to new jersey to watch the ice hockey. What really impressed me during my stay was how understanding and helpful the staffs were! I went to NYC for an audition, as expected I got complains from the neighbors while practicing. Instead of telling me to stop playing, the staff let me to practice in the conference room, because the meeting was cancelled last minute. They also helped me with […] printing music and etc. The room was small, but it's understandable in NY. But it's the staffs who really made this hotel special. room was somewhat closet-like. Services in the hotel are minimal. Room was clean but had mostly bed and desk and the lights of times square flashing throughout the night. Other issue with this hotel is that the location on 44th street makes getting a cab very difficult. 3 other hotels grab them all before they get to this place. While John Paul and Christian were some of the most helpful staff, the woman working the front desk both mornings we were there, was nothing short of rude. She did not provide any guidance or assistance beyond what was required of her and even then, was not helpful at all when I requested information about how long valet would take to get the car back. […] She said 5 minutes when I chose valet, but when I requested the car the next day, said it would be 45 minutes. I ended up walking to the garage myself in the rain/snow; she didn't offer an apology or to refund the valet cost. The location is great- steps away from Times Square. The room is SO small and there is no place to put your luggage. Plan on keeping suitcases on the floor and lining the window sill with your items; don't worry, there is no view so you won't mind putting your stuff on the sill. 더 보기

The Mela Hotel is a great place to stay if location and convenience are paramount to you. The rooms are clean and modern but are very tiny. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you can put up with a small space, its a very smart place to stay.

Quality of Hotel Servive = 3 --- only because I didnt use any services! Housekeeping did its job, my check in / check out experience was fine, but that was the extent of it. Other than that, its steps away from ALL major subway lines, so could get anywhere from there. I dont like Theater District, but for the price, it was perfect.
