후사 파세오 델 아르테 (Husa Paseo Del Arte) - 마드리드

호텔 옆쪽에 아토차역이 있어 처음 찾아갈때도 쉽습니다. 다만 큰대로를 건너야해서 조금 걸어야하긴 합니다만 먼거리는 아닙니다. 호텔 뒷편쪽으로 걸어가면 식당가들이 많습니다. 프라도 소피아미술관이 바로 코앞입니다. 마드리드에 많이 체류하지 않으시고 그 주변에 있는거 위주로 보시는 분들에게는 강추합니다. 특히 아침에 다른 지역으로 이동하시는 분이라면 이 호텔 강추입니다. 다만 호텔 바로 옆에 클럽이 있어서 금요일 토요일 밤에는 새벽 5시까지 시끄럽다는점만 주의하시면 될것 같네요. 그 외에는 만족스럽습니다.

일단 호텔의 위치가 너무 마음에 들었습니다. 공항에서 이동할 경우에도 T4에서 공항버스를 타면 바로 아토차 역에 도착하고, 시외버스 정류장도 버스 한번만 타면 이동이 가능합니다. 교통이 너무 편리했습니다. 미술관도 주변에 있어서 더욱 좋았습니다. 이번 스페인 여행에서 숙소를 여러번 변경해서 다녔었는데, 가장 만족스러운 호텔이였습니다. 청결하고 시설도매우 좋았습니다.

많은것들을 조사해보지 못하고 대충 정한 호텔이였는데..대체적으로 만족스러웠습니다. 가보니 HUSA라는 호텔 체인중의 하나여서 기본적인 서비스는 다 보장되는듯 했습니다. 특히 아토차 역 코앞이라 마드리드 시내 관광과 인근 지역의 소도시 방문에 너무 좋은 위치였구요.... 서비스나 시설도 좋았습니다.(영어도 잘 통하고...) 단, 공항에서 지하철로 이동할 경우 2번 갈아타야하는 번거로움이 있고,꽤나 힘든 여정입니다. 참고하셔서 편하게 호텔로 이동하시려면 택시를 이용하시길 권합니다. 참고로 바로 건너편에 한국식당 있었던지라 지친 여행길에 도움이 되었구요. 소피아 미술관과 프라도 미술관에 가깝습니다.

I had stayed at this hotel before so I decided to stay here again. This time, I had an even better room higher up with a view. I love this hotel and will continue to book a room there whenever I travel to Madrid. The location is perfectly situated near all three of the major museums, the train station and within walking distance to the Puerta Del Sol. […] The hotel's WiFi seems to work better on the lower levels of the hotel, but I still had no problem connecting on the 7th floor. Good location and there is a club right next door, but just ask to stay on the other side of the hotel. Right next to a Metro station across the street and a mcd's and plenty of small grocery stores to get drinks/snacks. A clean, modern hotel. Very close to the Botanical Gardens, Prada museum and the park. Would recommend.

After reading others' comments about the nearby nightclub, I was concerned. However, I decided to stay here and I'm extremely glad that I made the right decision. The staff is pleasant, the rooms are clean and modern, and the hotel is in the perfect location near all of the major museums and within walking distance of the train station. Overall we were very happy with his hotel. The only complaint is that we were not aware that the cost of the excellent breakfast did not come with the room. When we checked out after four nights we discovered that we were charged another $25 per person per breakfast. So we ended up paying over $200 additional for the breakfasts.

The base rate is great. WiFi charges are out of site. Breakfast ridiculous. But the hotel, locale and service wonderful

easy to find and extremely convenient. Beds a bit hard but I still slept well.

The hotel is clean, but rather shabby. The bedroom floor I was on smelt of smoke, but that is the way with the smoking floor (still can't believe there is such a thing). Overall a good hotel; nothing outstanding, but in a great location - my friend and I walked everywhere from the hotel. It was clean, check in simple, shower has GREAT water pressure (!), beds a little hard for my liking - but when I raised this with reception they promptly added two thick blankets to the top of the mattress to help alleviate. This was first time in Madrid & I'm very glad we choose this hotel. It's close to the museums & parks & metro stops & rail station. Decor & facilities in the hotel were excellent & staff were friendly & helpful. My only whim would be the lack of free or cheap wifi, but despite that, I'd definitely stay here if I return to this amazing city.

The Spanish economy is clearly taking its toll on the nation's tourist industry and only the most forward-looking companies within it are likely to survive. In this respect, the Husa Paseo del Arte makes an interesting case study - long my hotel of choice for short visits to Madrid, it won't be any more as it has failed to keep up with the times. Worse, […] it has failed to maintain its previously good standards. Top of my list of irritations is the fact that it still charges - expensively - for internet access, even in the lobby area. Free WiFi has become the norm in hotels in Spain and in many other parts of Europe (indeed, I'm typing this in another hotel that does provide it gratis) and I will in future check before booking a hotel to ensure this is the case. On this visit, the hotel was very obviously far from full, yet I was given a room at the furthest end of a corridor and with no bath. Whilst quiet and comfortable enough (if you only want to sleep - there is no real space in it in which to lounge and the hotel doesn't offer a larger, public lounge area), decor-wise it felt a bit tired. One of the attractions of Husa Paseo del Arte was its breakfast - not cheap, but previously one of the best around. Up till now it had two Nespresso machines - a decent coffee in the morning is a real pleasure (many hotels offer what can only be described as a 'coffee-style hot drink') - but now the large one has gone and the small one only has decaffeinated coffee capsules available. I ask you - even if you've got even only one machine why can't you have a range of coffees available to use in it since other capsules don't cost any more? Needless to say, the new large machine on offer produces disgusting coffee - a cost saving too far. Overall, whilst still superficially quite smart, the place looks just a little shabbier and needs a bit of a makeover. Good place; I'd stay there again. It's convenient to the Prado and to the other activities. Clean, helpful staff. A bit of a problem with the internet, but not major.

We had a lovely time at this hotel. we requested a high floor and got it, factilties were spot on and staff were very helpful and accomodating, Would highly recommend this hotel

we went for a 2 night break-the hotel was lovely-ideally situated by the atocha railway where the airport bus stopped, and a short walk from the main squares.The first night was lovely but unfortunately the second night there was a night club in the alley below our room (open Thurs, Fri & Sat nights from 12.00 -6 am)-The noise was unbelievable from […] people outside the club-all night singing, shouting and general noise until the club shut at 6-was a nightmare-so if you are going to this hotel sunday to wednesday it is fab but if you are going at the weekend-take your earplugs or avoid!! 더 보기

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights last week and couldn't have been more satisfied. Check in and out was a breeze. Very professional staff. The room had nice modern decor, comfortable beds with crisp linen, very clean and comfortable. The location is great for museums - Reina Sofia is across the street, Prado is a few blocks away. It is also very convenient […] for Atocha train station - just about 5-6 min walk. Although most of the major sights are still within walking distance, metro station is across the street. Good and clean hotel in an excellent location. A few minutes walk from the Atocha Rail Station, main rail hub in Spain. Fifteen minutes walk to the Plaza Mayor and its famed restaurants (one of them the oldest as per the Guiness book). We traveled for business but the location allowed to spend some time visiting the Museo del Prado which is within walking distance. I was very pleased with the Service, Location and Price.

The location is good, only 10mins walk from Atocha train station. Room was clean and spacious but the service is lousy. The hotel guy was unfriendly and rude. We did not expect such bad service from a 4 star hotel. We had to change our room on the 1st night after we came back from the sightseeing due to faulty switches. The hotel guy was so sure that […] we are the culprit who spolit the switches by charging our electrical appliances although we just deposited our bags and went out immediately without doing anything. Not a word of apologies from them when we had to sit on the corridor (cause our room is dark and stuffy without aircon) to wait for them to come and fix the switches. Lousy service! 더 보기

Room is better than expected compared to the pictures seen on sites. Pleasant stay with the standard amenities (except no bedroom slippers). Though facing a main street, it was quiet during my stay. My husband and I stayed only one night at this hotel and were very impressed with it. It is decorated beautifully and the bathroom was very luxurious (even in our regular economy-priced room). We wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly stay again next time we are in Madrid. Could not have found a better hotel. Located within a 10 minute walk of Atocha Train Station, it is a 40 minute 2 Euro ride from the airport. It is within a 10 minute walk of the big 3 art museums and Retiro, and within 25 minutes of the Plaza Mayor and Palacio. This is a very nice hotel. The location is great for the Atocha Railway and Metro stations. It's also great for the airport express shuttle bus as this is also located at Atocha Station. The 3 main Art museums are within a 10 minute walk however, the centre is about 20- 25mins walk. Based on previous reviews, I asked for and got a quiet room facing […] the back of the hotel. This is advisable as there is a very busy nightclub at the front with literally hundreds of people hanging around outside (at 3am when I returned to the hotel). I experienced no noise whatsoever. A modern, bright and immaculately clean hotel in an excellent location, and also great value for money . The only 'complaint' we have is that the bar staff were very sullen - call it service without a smile!

I would strongly recommend this hotel based on its proximity to Atocha train-bus terminal. For 2 euros, I was able to take a bus from Barajas airport which left me at the train terminal. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from there. The bus is designed for travelers as there is an ample luggage rack and makes only 3 stops.

We finished our stay in Spain with one night at this boutique hotel, only a few difficult steps from the Atocha train station. Smaller room than we found elsewhere on our trip, but comfortable and well-appointed. No view from our room (503). Internet is stupid expensive; you even have to pay at the "business center" terminals right next to the reception […] desk. A very comfortable hotel, modern and well maintained. Close to the main art galleries in Madrid and to Atocha station. The deal arranged by Hotels.com was very good value. The only snag was the very expensive breakfast , though hotels.com did warn about this. Very conveniently located, walking distance (even with the luggage) from the central train station Atocha, metro station is around the corner, plenty of eateries. Nice and clean room and bathroom. What a hotel! 5-star quality and servive for sure. Not only was the entire staff friendly, they were also very helpful and extremely accomodating. They did not care who we (wife and I) were or where we came from, everyone went out of their way to help and definitely provided the best type of services and support money can buy. This is a very serviceable hotel within easy walking distance to the major art museums, and doesn't require much more walking effort to get to most of the places that tourists frequent in Madrid. It's clean, the rooms are good sized for Europe, and the beds are comfortable.

The Paseo del Arte is a large 4 star hotel near (3 mins wal) the Atocha train station (the main station where trains to Barca and Sevilla leave from). It is also very close to the Reine Sofia (modern) art gallery and near the Museo del Prado - so its location is very good, especially if you plan on taking in an art gallery. Also if you want coffee/food/beer go out turn right on Calle Atocha then after a bit turn down Calle de Fucar which turns into Calle de Jesus - around where this crosses Huertas try Esquina del Cafe for coffee, and Taberna Maceiras for seafood. 더 보기
