로킹 호스 인 (Rocking Horse Inn) - 라벤나

This like going to a the house of a relative you do not get to see that often, but love to visit them, because you know the look foward to you coming....There was a community dinner the weekend we were there; which we were invited to, which made us feel like we were really part of there"family".

First B&B that I've ever been to, but it was a WONDERFUL place. The building was gorgeous on the inside. It had a very nostalgic feel to it with the decor and such. Very good period pieces. There were always little snacks left out, and the fridge was always full with drinks (alcoholic and otherwise). The continental breakfast was very good. There was […] a good selection of foods and fruits. The hot tub was very nice, didn't get to try out the jet tub, but it looked really nice. The room was well decorated, the bed very comfortable, and the supplied wine to our liking. The bathroom in our room felt a bit small, but we made do with it. The patio area was really nice, and there was even a grill there if you wanted to cook your own food. The proprietor was around occasionally and was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this B&B to anyone! It was a great experience, and I am positive that I will be visiting there again!!! 2 thumbs way up! 더 보기

Should I need a place to stay in the area again, I would not hesitate to stay here again. The high points: Awesome owner. Complimentary beverages, snacks. Fascinating house filled with antiques and history Large room complete with fridge and microwave. Convenient access to the Rootstown/Kent area, close enough to the interstate so you can run to Cleveland/Akron The […] only real negative I experienced is my room was a tad warm, even with the ceiling fan. I do admit that I like it COLD. The Rocking Horse Inn probably isn't for everyone for a few reasons: I stayed 3 nights and only saw two people during my stay. For some you might feel a bit lonely. The breakfast is nothing special. It's toast, bagels, English muffins, coffee, juice, and the like. It isn't bad, but if you're expecting custom made crepes you're out of luck. 더 보기

We arrived at the Rocking Horse for a parents weekend away in late October. Our first impression was that this was a haunted house! It was a dark rainy afternoon. No cars, no one at the house at all. Only an envelope with our name and a note, explaining the entrance code, taped on the front door. When we entered there was an old organ in the foyer. […] If it would have started playing, I was gone! As it turned out, it was a very nice stay. Quiet. Many antiques. A truly Victorian experience. The open kitchen with a stocked fridge was a nice touch. Fresh fruit and bagels in the morning, although I never saw any one else the whole time we were there. 더 보기
