Don't stay here if you plan to sleep. Period.

This hotel's location is perfect, within walking distance to 6th St. and other Austin area restaurants and sights. The adventurous can walk to the Capitol area from here. The staff was very helpful, assisting me with room selection at the front desk even though they were busy. The room itself was spotless and large with a nice seating area and the bed […] was very comfortable.The bathroom was large and well-maintained with a good shower head.The lobby Starbucks is very convenient. The hotel restaurant, as other reviewers have pointed out, is awful. The food is mediocre and service is poor. Even for what it is, a casual sports bar that is there for convenience, it misses the mark. The valets are great, but parking is so expensive, even self-parking is high. You may as well valet for the cost. The hotel has a policy that after a certain time of night guests have to show hotel keys or ID to get back in, you are literally stopped by bouncer type guys, this is to keep out stragglers or partiers, but I found it somewhat offensive. At 2 or 3am, I'm exhausted and do not want to be interrogated and at the age of 45, I'm not crashing in someone else's hotel room. I might stay again but I will look at other hotels in the area just because of that policy. 더 보기

My husband and I stayed here because we were going to some clubs in the 4th street area. It is walking distance and the price is fair for such a great location. Parking in the hotel garage is expensive, so you have to deal with meters on the street if you want to save some money. The room was clean and everything was in good condition. The bed and […] pillows were wonderful. Our only issue came at about 3am when some people in the next room were arguing, yelling, and slamming doors. Then, a ruckus started in the hallway. I heard glass breaking twice and I looked out the peephole to see a group of young people milling around and talking loudly. We were right by the elevator and they kept holding the button and making the elevator ding repeatedly. At some point I called the front desk. It took at least 30 minutes before the noise completely stopped and we could go back to sleep. Clearly, this is not all within the hotel's control, but anyone staying here on the weekend should be aware that this is a possibility. The last time we came to downtown Austin, we stayed at the hotel that adjoins this one a(on a weekend as well) It was a little more expensive, but much quieter and you get a great breakfast. The hotel was beautiful and expecially for the price we pay. We usually stay at the hilton garden inn off 5th street but they were booked and we got one of the few rooms left at the courtyard, it was very close to 6th street and the rooms are much nicer than the hilton, not to mention parking was easy. This Courtyard Hotel is in a great location in downtown Austin. It's conveinently located to all the great entertainment that Austin is famous for. It's clean and safe as you would expect for a Marriott owned property. The staff is friendly and helpful and eager to serve. I was in town for the Captex Race over Memorial Day weekend. I was told upon check-in that the hotel has room service. Room ser vice to me, is a menu in your room that you can choose your meal from and then have it delivered to you IN YOUR ROOM! This isn't the case at CbM, Austin! They have a Market (24 hrs) that is handy, but lacking. They have a restaurant […] called Champions that wasn't open for Sunday breakfast. They sent us over to the Residence Inn to eat and it was indeed a disappointment! The food wasn't warm or fresh and the service was lacking. The room per night was high and I thought that they should have provided what was promised! 더 보기

Not bad at all. Very nice and clean, rooms were good size, nice bathroom. It was close to 6th street just 2 blocks close to the middle of entertainment district. Had a great time. Only cons, valet parking was $27, a bit high. Vending machines outdated (excepted no bills, change only).

In addition to the frustration listed above when checking in, we had to pay an additional $26 bucks to park overnight and got dinged with a $20 "incidentals" charge to my credit card, when we didn't use any incidentals.

We were two blocks from Sixth street for New Years and it was perfect. They were strict on noise and non-guests at the hotel but it was great to have a place of peace and quiet every once in while away from the crazyness that is Austin. Also you cant hear the noise from sixth street when you are trying to sleep. Great experience

Bed was comfortable, room clean and location convenient.

This hotel has a great fitness center, a great staff, comfortable rooms and is the best location. 2 blocks from 6th street and 3 blocks from warehouse dist. Also, block from convention center. I have stayed at them all in Austin and this hotel is best, even better than the Driskoll. (and there are a lot of great hotels in Austin)

Great location, close to the 6th street scene but still quiet. You can walk to the art museum, capital and lots of restaurants and bars. The room was nice and the bathroom was large. Starbucks downstairs is convenient.

The Courtyard Marriott, Downtown is always a great experience. I travel to Austin regularly for work and would not stay anywhere different. The hotel staff are always very professional, helpful and friendly. And, the hotel itself is in prime walking distance to just about everything in downtown Austin. Not to mention, the prices are extremely reasonable […] and they have a really nice workout facility. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! 더 보기

Great location - within walking distance to much of the night life. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the bar and grill located in the hotel, too.
