My wife and I found Hotel Plaza Florencia a good base while I was working in the city. The staff is outstanding. To their credit, when I realised that my booking fell a day short of our departure, they did not gouge us for the additional day. The only negatives are (1) the bed was too hard, (2) the hallway echoes, so that when a door is shut it sounds […] like a jailhouse, and (3) the neighborhood is both seedy and expensive. This last is easily remedied by crossing Cuauhtemoc to Colonia Roma, walking west across Sevilla, or east across Havre. That said, the location is safe, easy to find, and convenient to the Metro. 더 보기

I would recommend this hotel: clean room and spacious bathrooms (as pictured, no surprises). Stayed for one night.

This hotel is well located in the Zona Rosa, close to shops and shows. The lobby is lovely, the beds very comfortable and our room was quiet and clean. You can slightly hear the plumbing from neighboring rooms One caution, large tour groups like this place, so ask for a room apart from them and don't plan on using the restaurant in the morning. Hotel is in the Red Zone of Mexico City... lots of great shops, restaurants, clubs within a short walk of the hotel. Hotel service is first class, rooms clean... Got a king suite thru hotels.com for less than 1/2 of posted rates... the latter which I think are competitive for the area. We have reason to visit Mexico City several times a year. Excellent experience. Breakfast a little bit overpriced, but that's usual at many hotels. Great location, only a few blocks away from Turibus stop and Monument to the Independence (Angel). Great people at the front desk, and excelent service of taxis and tourism guides and transportation just next to the hotel.

room was so small.if you are moderately obese you may have time navigating around passageway.it is just cramp.was delighted to to see bottled water,coffee sachet etc on the table,only to find out they were for sale.cost of weater was 38 pesos per bottle,if you step out,there is a store next to the hotel and it only sells for 8 pesos,what a huge diffference.also,you […] can hear clearly the conversation next room,like they were inside yours.the only good thing about this hotel was the location,wifi services and not spying on you .on who you bring in to your room.i despise chambermaids knocking at doors at 8 am.seems that this is common in mexico.thay have no respect with guests,who are not early risers 더 보기

Great Value and Location! The only condition not is that the beds are hard, but for the money I was not expecting anything much better. I would stay here again for sure just because of the price and location.

I was on the 6th floor with a nice view over the city. Bed was very comfortable and everything was perfect. The price was reasonable for the quality and amenities of this property. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Over all a great place to stay at a reasonable price.

THIS HOTEL IS CLOSE TO DOWN TOWN MEXICO CITY AND IS VERY CONVINIENT FOR TURIST AND FOR BUSINESS. They need to improve bathroom facilities for be great.

The Hotel Plaza Florencia is a good hotel and good rates. The personnel was helpful, the rooms clean and the location great. The only thing I would change is the old TV for flat ones.

This is a very recommended hotel, and I agree with the ratings it receives. I was not disappointed, and would recommend this to a friend who wanted a nice place to stay, but didn't want to pay a fortune. The location is quite convenient to public transportation. Insurgentes Metro is just a five minute walk away. The Angel is less than ten minutes away. […] The zona rosa streets are walkable and filled with small shops and restaurants. This is a safe area, with people walking about. The staff are unfailingly polite and helpful. They do their best to maintain an aging building, which as others have noted, is not the quietest. The windows let in quite a bit of sound from the busy streets, and the slightest sound in the hallway (footsteps, a door slamming) echo. off the hard surfaces. The rooms are basic and small, but they are kept clean and in good repair. The free WiFi signal was strong, but at times it would drop me over and over and fail to reconnect unless I went through a troubleshooting routine. My MacBook Pro has no connection issues on WiFi networks at work and at home, as well as many hotels, so it's fair to blame their network for this. The hotel is non-smoking, as noted. My room smelled fine, and I couldn't detect the smell of smoke in the hallways. However they allow people to stand in the doorway and smoke, so I avoided the lobby, as if often was smoky. My suggestion is to bring the best earplugs you can, and you should be fine. I would definitely stay here again. 더 보기

rooms are small but clean, excellent service, safe hotel at a GREAT location - a block from metro station and two blocks from major attractions such as the Angel monument.

This hotel was a great value for your money. The service was excellent. The staff was very hospitable. The location is great, close to the subway and lots of restaurants and shops. I would go back to this hotel again.

I am disappointed with my staying at Hotel Plaza Florenica because; First, I found roaches in the room, and rooms are too small. Second, Beads are too hard. Third, No Air Conditioning. And last, Zona Rosa is to wile.

VERY GOOD LOCATION, NEAR TO EVERYTHING IN MEXICO CITY, IF YOU TRAVEL FOR PLEASURE, YOU CAN FIND A LOT OF THINGS TO SEE AND TO DO NEAR TO THIS HOTEL AND IF YOU TRAVEL FOR BUSINESS YOUR ARE IN THE CENTER OF THE ACTION, YOU CAN GO TO ANY PLASE IN MEXICO WITH SHORT DRIVE.

This hotel represents excellent value for money. It is conveniently located to all major atractions in Mexico City. The hotel is very clean and appears to be well maintained. All hotel staff were polite, professional and very keen to be of assistance to guests. I will certainly stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was nice and clean and was very close to Zona Rosa's nightlife. However, I had spilt coffee in the room (totally my fault) and they did not have anyone to clean until next morning (so just be careful). And the guys at the front desk were very nice and helpful (helped me with directions, changing into smaller denomination of pesos etc). This hotel was very neat and well-operated. While the rooms were a bit small, they were very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful during our 3-night stay. The gym could use some maintaining. The treadmill did not work. Overall, a pleasant experience and great quality for the price.

I may stay here on all my future visits to DF. The rooms are not as nice as others in the area, but the location cannot be beaten. The service almost never lapses.

Good hotel to stay some days in Mexico DF with acess to many places

I stayed at Hotel Plaza Florencia for one week. The hotel staff was very polite and professional. The room was smallish but very clean. My only complaint about the room was that the TV was very old and there was no wash clothes available. Lucky for me I packed one just in case. As far as the min bar goes you're better off going to the OXXO across the […] street for any convenience things you may want like water. The location couldn't be better. Very central to most attractions. I plan to stay there again during my next trip to Mexico City. 더 보기

This hotel was awesome, it was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The bedswere pretty comfortable. There are some good restaurants and places to go and have fun within walking distance from the hotel. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time we visit Mexico city.

This part of the city has become the night hot zone, but hotel is very well located near museums, monuments, avenues and great restaurants. Beware at night street activity... hotel taxis are the best, driven by guides. BREAKFAST BUFFET IS VERY GOOD, people very nice and helpfull. Good value for the rate I got.

great location for great price, Hotel is close to zona rosa and Angel statue, lts of places to eat around and very secure zone. stayed there everytime I go to Mexico

We only needed to spend the night somewhere. Granted that this was in la Zona Rosa and a good price we booked. Great deal! Wonderful Hotel! Safe, Comfortable, and Clean! Would Recommend!

Excellent hotel, great rooms, comfy, clena and spacious. PLeny of english stations on tv s they use SKY. Restauarant service was atrocious due to staff attitude. Overall a real nice hotel. I would stay again
