Best breakfast I ate during a 3 week road trip. Top quality service, room, everything.

I went on hotels.com to find a decent 3 star hotel in between big towns on a drive through Wyoming....omg this is NOT it! First thing upon arriving after driving 9 hours alone, there is no clear entrance, and the hotel was once an inn 50 years or so ago, and now hotels.com indicated it would be a 3 start updated hotel....NOT.....once you figure out […] how to check in at what seemed to be a nursing care counter where you order your meds for the day, the smells, aged dirt, old cigarette and bug infested carpets, drapes, walls, you walk up a ramp to the elevator from the 1950's to your 2nd floor of 3 floors to your non-smoking room.....once you open up onto the 2nd ""non-smoking" floor, it wreaked of cigar smoke, and find your room....I was afraid to open the door.....however, once opening the door, the room did not smell like cigarettes or cigars so I decided to try it out since I was so exhausted. There was a small microwave and small refrigerator, but neither was plugged in and there was only one plug to share one or the other not both to be plugged in. The bed was lumpy, and I checked it for bed bugs and decided to stay when no bugs were found. The room was old, furniture from the 1960's, which seemed weird along side a new flat panel screen tv. There was a desk, but no place to plug in my laptop that I trusted, so I decided to take a shower and go on to bed. The did provide toiletries to wash, but only provided 2 small towels which my hair soaked up and then it was necessary to air dry since the towles were tiny. I heard all sorts of noises throughout the night and every horrible sound in the halls and the adventures from each room beside me. Evidently, this is a popular hotel with the ladies of the night and the truckers who stay here. Breakfast in the morning was instant scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, cereal, juice and milk, white and wheat bread, pnut butter and jelly which I made a sandwhich, but not much else. no one offered to help with bags, but th 더 보기

We were very pleased with our room - clean, nice, comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Our stay was fine except they had the AC off and it works weird, we ended up in a really hot room until eventually I couldn't take it and fiddled with the AC til it kicked in properly. Not using the AC right was more my fault than theirs, but if they had put it at a comfortable level when they cleaned the room, the problem would have been avoided. […] Slept horribly because of it. 더 보기

We booked our room on line while on the road and were told we had a non smoking room waiting for us ,when we arrived we walked into a room that had to have been inhabited by a 5 pack a day smoker, nothing wrong if you want to smoke it's just not what I asked or paid for. The clerk basically told me tough luck that's what you get for booking on line […] and you can lump it. A customer who was standig there at the counter said he would trade me rooms because he had been a smoker and it wouldn't bother him.this motel gets ONE star,their customer that helped gets FIVE STARS. 더 보기

The room was clean, the bed comfortable the staff friendly. The other guests close to my room, however were up slamming doors ALL night. Reported to staff once, they took care of it, but then it started up again. The staff should maybe revisit the area after a complaint it made. Overall nice hotel.

I made my reservation over three weeks in advance requesting a non-smoking room and receiving a confirmation of the room for the appropriate dates. Upon arrival at the hotel, my daughter and I were sent to a smoking room that reeked of cigarette smoke. I spoke to the front desk and was told that I should have been told the non-smoking room was not available […] and I would have to live with the non-smoking room. Since there were no other rooms available at other motels in the area, we did stay. The next morning, my sinuses were badly swollen and my throat was sore for the next two days. If you don't have a non-smoking room, tell me early so I can change my motel and get what I need. Don't wait until I arrive and no other rooms are available then tell me to live with it. 더 보기

They have an excellent breakfast. Older hotel but very clean and very nice staff. Very good parking for vehicles with trailers. nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Pool very clean. Smiths grocery right across the street. good for the money

The parking was less than desirable. Had to fight for space each time we left the lot. Other than that, accomodations were better than those ot the Super * in Moraine OH by far

The breakfast was great and the staff was helpful The only down side was we had no bath mat the third day. We got in late and made out fine. The house keeper did a poor job making the bed, which is not a big deal but if you're going to make the effort do it right. We would go back.

The town's a dump, so I did not expect much. But this motel was just fine. And a great value.

I was apprehensive from some reviews, but this was a great hotel. Wonderful breakfast with waffles, biscuits with gravy, bagels, sweet rolls, yogurt, cereal, with orange, apple juice and milk. Clean rooms, wireless internet, elevator for 3 floors, and a beautiful lobby with an attached reading/Internet room (computer supplied) Would definitely stay […] there again. Oh! We had a spacious clean room. The hotel had a large clean indoor pool. They offer a continental breakfast with a wide variety, biscuits & gravy, sausage, waffles, & cereal. This hotel is very well maintained & friendly.

I liked the price on this hotel, initially. I did not like the condition of the room that was given. it had old, dated furniture. the room was bare and seemingly empty. the room had peeled away paint and wall paper/water damage on walls throughout bathroom. it had old/dated carpeting. Since we were traveling to the midwest we were looking for the most reasonable prices without sacrificing a reasonable degree of comfort. The room was good and the bed was O.K. It's hard to give a motel bed a good grade when your sleeping on a Tem-Pur Pedic at home. The hotel put on a free breakfast that was much better than some I paid for. When we first pulled in after driving from Mesquite, NV, if thought to myself, "here we go, another dump", but was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and the condition of the inside of the motel. I reserved a room here because of a stay in WI . There the room was clean, tidy, attractive. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. This place was a bit 'dated' yet the staff seemed to really care about you and your stay. The room needed a thorough carpet cleaning and the pillows were so lumpy I finally tossed mine on the floor. This hotel in Rock Springs, Wyoming is located right off the freeway. It had a pool with a small workout room, which we took advantage of. The breakfast was very good--much better than rolls and juice like other places. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was conveniently located and was comfortable enough for a one-night stay. Staff was not overly friendly at check-in or check-out. There was a dirty band-aid in the soap dish in the shower. My son left behind an expensive toy and even though we called only an hour after check out it could not be located. The staff was not at all sympathetic […] to the situation, and I had to nearly beg them to take down my phone # to call if it turned up. Great for a budget conscious traveler. Rooms very clean, continental breakfast better than most.

The hotel was very old and run down. Not a nice enviornment at all.

Convenience of finding the hotel was wonderful the room was clean and had all the necessities I needed. My only complaint is the noise level from the floor above my room. Felt like someone was going to coming crashing down through the ceiling at any moment. Very disturbing and seemed to go on all night long.

Absolutely terrible. Wrote a review from the room that evening to describe the broken locks, clogged tub, and filthy bathroom. Because it was 11:30 when i arrived, nothing was done, The gentleman at the front desk was very rude when i asked for another room. This Hotel was a great place for the price, the breakfast was really good.

The price was great and the room was about what you would expect for a lower end stay. Rock Springs has a lot of oil field workers and they started moving to hit their shift at 3am...so about every 30 minutes from that point on you heard people up moving around, showers going and doors shutting. The staff was pleasant. It was clean & tidy. The blankets were stiff and not warm at all. The bed was ok. It was alright for a place to just sleep a night, and we got a good price. It just wasn't very comfortable. I won't stay there again.

Hotel was conveniently located and the Continental Breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The only complaint that I would have is that we could hear the people on the floor above us...kept us up at night and woke us in the morning. It was a good value for the money.

The room was big, clean, and comfortable. Seal on clean toilet was nice to see. Shower head was a little low, but that's the only negative thing I could say. Overall a surprisingly nice place.

The room was clean, but the hotel is old and run down. You can hear when other rooms are showering and the ac/heating unit is very noisy. I don't think we would stay there again, probably pay the $10 more and stay in a nicer place. The Mexican restaurant had good food and good service.

I've stayed there twice now, and I'd stay there again due to the price. Nothing fancy, but no (bad) surprises either. Good cheap way to get a room while traveling through Wyoming. Breakfast leaves a little to be desired, running eggs, greasy sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc, so typical midwestern fare.

It was late when I checked in because it was such a little town it was hard to find a place to eat. and I was tierd after 12 hours of driving and hungry, The person at the desk was no help at all in finding a place to eat.
