This was our second stay here, and both times were wonderful. The room was clean, and the staff was very courteous. We were there for baseball games and the hotel is very convenient to the fields. This will always be my choice to stay when we play ball here. The price is very reasonable too

It's only 1/2 mile off interstate, but down a dark country road with run down houses around! Very strange location off main road. Mattress was very uncomfortable and old. TV reception and size left a lot to be desired.

We stayed here earlier in the year and found it to be clean, and we felt secure. We came back this time because we knew we would be safe and comfortable. It is conveniently located between our home and Florida.

Good place to stay on the road. Would stay again. The price was right.

We stayed here to run the Battlefield Marathon. It was the only available room online. The staff was very helpful and friendly, but the accomodations were far below our expectations. There was a crack in the ceiling of our room. Several light bulbs were either missing or fixtures were not working. The counter in the bathroom was leaning towards the […] floor. No opinion about surrounding neighborhood. Pulled in at 3 a.m. and left at 11 a.m. Just stopping by for a nice place to sleep while travelling. Great room for the rate!

I spent the weekend mid October 2011 in Ringold GA. The surrounding neighborhood isn't much, be prepared to travel an exit or two off interstate75 for food and shopping about an extra 10min..not bad. The bed had clean sheets and was comfortable to sleep on, the comforter/bed spread was gross and looked dirty. The hallway had a very strong smoke smell […] and the smell of Indian food curry permeated the room! It just made me hungry=).. Beware the carpets i would not walk on the barefoot dark dirty old stains of who knows what! The best thing (besides the price) was the newly remolded bathrooms!! Amazing and beautiful tile and granite counters with huge bathtubs and the most Amazing shower head EVER!! All in all, not bad. I might stay again, but BEWARE THE CARPET!!!!!!!!! 더 보기

I think that you could do a little better with the breakfast food.

The Home Town Inn in Ringgold, GA was adequate for our needs. However, when I had need of assistance or had concerns or questions, hotel staff came to the front desk grudgingly, clearly annoyed that I was disturbing their TV viewing in an adjoining room. When I mentioned that the hotels.com description of my room stated that it would have an in-room […] safe and a video game console, the hotel manager laughed at me and replied that hotels.com made a mistake, that none of their rooms have thoses things. He pointed out that they do have a safe at the front desk. I don't know whose mistake it is, but I do not think that a hotel manager should ever laugh at a customer's complaint. The room was otherwise comfortable and seemed clean. We did not see any roaches in our room during the 2 days we were there, but I did see one in the elevator. 더 보기

Staff nice, especially the lady in the evenings. Room worn, but clean. Bedspread had a couple cigarette burns in it - in a non-smoking room, and drawers to dresser had missing knobs. Everything worked as it should, though. Nothing bad. Upkeep needed.

Fairly new hotel in nice area, plenty of restaurants within 5 miles. Some minor issues with room, ceiling had duct tape on in several areas. (not sure why) and knob missing off drawer. Not sure why these minor things would not be addressed in a new hotel. Breakfast was average. Overall a good stay, especially for the money.

There are no restaurants near this property and I think it's over priced.

The Home Town Inn was very clean. The staff was very nice. The pool was great. We would stay there again. I was not impressed with the breakfast or the coffee.The coffee was weak. There was not enough coffee or food and they refused to make more.

My family and I went on vacation to visit Chattanooga and stayed here. It was very clean and quaint. It smelled clean throughout the halls and room and the staff were very nice. The hotel was easy to find, not too far off the expressway. The outside of the hotel looked decent even though there was little to no landscaping. The staff was friendly and check-in/check-out went fine. The room needed a lot of TLC. It looked dirty and completely worn out (I kept my shoes on except when in bed). There was something black on the ceiling […] and walls which I hoped wasn''t mold. Shower was ok; the bath towels were very small, thin and threadbare. The bed was surprisingly firm (a plus) but the sheets were very worn as were the bedspreads (holes in one of them) and pillows (little to no density). It was difficult to sleep as I was rather creeped out by the condition of the room. In the morning breakfast was a sad assortment of "slim to none" choices. I breakfasted elsewhere. I would not book here again. I would rather skimp on food and use the money difference toward a higher priced, well-maintained room. At least I would more easily be able to sleep. 더 보기

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were all friendly. Only problem we had was we reserved a roll away bed and when we got there they only had one and it was already in another room. So had to sleep 3 in the queen bed. If you are planning on cooking on the one burner they have in the room bring your own pans and dishes none in the room. I picked this hotel on our way to Disney World. I just needed a night to stay, sleep and shower and we were really there less than 12 hours. The room was clean, it was quiet and it had a beautiful surrounding. The staff was friendly and promptly got us a crib for the sleepy toddler we had with us. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable, and staying here was a good overall experience. I have no complaints.

The only bad impression was the bath towels were old and torn for both nights I stayed there. I stayed on 6/6 and 6/8.

Convenient to I-75, affordable, friendly, elevator, felt safe staying there.

On a recent road-trip we needed a place to spend the night in the Chattanooga or North Georgia area, hopefully near the interstate. We were extremely pleased with the Home Town Inn in Ringgold, GA. We stopped at a few places looking for a rooms and found that the hotels in this area are often quite expensive for a family of four. Really ratty places […] with bad-smelling offices (no lobbies) wanted a minimum of $80 for the night (four people). From the parking lot of the third place we checked we used Hotels.com to find something better. After reading reviews, we selected this hotel and booked it only twenty minutes before actual arrival! When we arrived, the staff was wonderful, professional, and very welcoming. What you would expect in North Georgia. The hotel is in a fine location, there are no surrounding buildings or establishments that would make anyone uncomfortable. It's a nice area. The room was totally clean, everything is new, the beds were comfortable. The room smelled fresh. The bathroom was nicer than expected with granite counters, undermount sinks, large mirrors, and one of those curved shower-rods that give you plenty of room to take a nice long hot shower after being on the road all day. Breakfast was a standard continental breakfast, with doughnuts, bagels, cereal, and waffles. Great coffee. (There is also a coffee pot in the room) We often travel to this area and bounce around. This hotel was such a great value compared to others anywhere near Chattanooga, that we may just consider it our base of operations for the next trip and stay for a number of days. Within an hour there are dozens of great mountain destinations. Only about three hours to Nashville so it can be done in a day from here. About an hour on the scenic roads to Ellijay. Less than that to Cleveland, TN. The nearby civil war battlefield park is beautiful. That's about it. Reserved room due to price and location. The room was clean enough, but the bed was terribly uncomfortable. The mattress leaned toward one side (it slanted down toward my wife who weighs a lot less than I do). The blanket was wearing thin as well. Also, even though the pool (outside) was not open yet, the area was unlocked and the pool was completely full of murky water (watch your kids!). I went to Hotels.com to search for a hotel and reviews of that hotel. The reviews were absolutely accurate and we were very pleased. The desk attendant was courteous and helpful, going out of her way to accommodate the parking of our car with boat trailer. The room was spacious, clean and well kept. This hotel is a great bargain in the area. The hotel had a lovely cottage feel to it. It was perfect for my needs. I loved the micowave/refrigerator unit combo in my room. Great hotel for overnight stop returning from Florida. Nicely decorated room, friendly evening staff, simple hotel for nice resting stop.

I chose this hotel largely based on the then 95% positive recommendations from other users on this site. The romm that I was given was among the dirtiest that I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. The walls were filthy and the carpet was severly stained. The mattresses, pillows, and towels were all of the same low quality that you would expect […] to find in any 1 star hotel. On a positive note, the bathroom had apparantly been recently re-done which did help to make up for the rest of the surroundings. 더 보기

I was very satisfied with my stay. It is not luxurious, but very comfortable. It was a very nice place to stop off on the way to FL., and I would recommend it to others.

Just what I needed for a quick getaway. Quiet and friendly people.

The check-in was very fast, I gave our name and they handed me the key. Room was nice and clean. Would highly recommend, if price remains the same.

Good standard lodging while in transit. Property is well maintained and nice and clean. Room was well equiped. Included breakfast is minimal with cerial, waffels and coffee.

Dec 2010 Traveling from Orlando to Chicago this was our second stay. We came back and things just seemed a little less. Everything was a little less. Cobwebs / minor repairs needed, etc. It is a Decent place for the price to crash for the night. Eat before you get here or bring your own food. It's in a remote location.
