Casa Tierra Adobe Bed and Breakfast, west of Tucson, is in the beautiful Sonoran desert at the base of the Tucson Mountains. Its is a unique natural... adobe hacienda that blends in with the desert surroundings. Its hidden away from noise, crowds and traffic. Its rustic charm is reminiscent of old Mexico. We experienced paramount personal service, yet our privacy and anonymity were secure. This is a small first classs B&B that caters to only a few at a time. As a couple we forgot ourselves and wished to never leave. Our host, & Inn Keeper was a most interesting (Renaissance Man) filled with valuable and often entertaining info. Each morning he mades us feel as his only guests. He presented most delicious and unusuall vegetarian breakfasts We have found no where else. There many venues of diversion close at hand, yet Casa Tierra is tucked away and hidden from view. Our personal comfort made our stay a pleasure. Each of the three rooms and suite has its own ramada. The interiors access an open courtyard with fountain. We would sit relaxing, drinking rich freshly brewed coffee, reading the morning paper, as humming birds flew in to feast on necter. Then were escourted into a beautiful dinning room with views of the desert to entertain us as we ate breakfast. In the evenings the courtyard is softly lit with many colorful candles and the sound of babbling water from the fountain. The setting could not be more serene. We wished we had booked more time. Our experience was captivating and very pleasant. This is not a place for children looking to be entertained. Children would be a distraction. CasaTierra is a quiet Inn, perfect for relaxing the body and mind, renewing the senses.
