Was not impressed by the tired decor and indoor/outdoor carpeting in the bedroom. Was greeted by hotel employees repeatedly "Welcome home!" Corny and so not true. Nice location and nice balcony with a view of the surf. Will not spend another night in this hotel.

Although this hotel is close to everything and each room has a balcony with an ocean view, we felt that it was absolutely overpriced. The room was very outdated (maybe only a few have been renovated, which they put on their website). The bedroom was in the entrance of the room, so we didn't have a window or a view from our bed. The bathroom was tiny […] and very dated, the water didn't really drain from the sink. The tv was from the 80's with very poor picture quality. The breakfast was most disappointing. No fruits, pancakes or eggs. One toaster had to be used for bagels and English muffins. It took forever to get one bagel. The breakfast room was very outdated with old chairs and tables. It felt like a room in a youth hostel. Overall, this place it not worth anyone's money. Just go to one of those nice B&B's in Cape May and enjoy the ocean directly on the beach. 더 보기

Very nice corner room I had. Perfect and great windows all around and the view was perfect.

The only real complaint that I would have is that I called while on the road on the way down to Cape May and was advised that check in started at 2 pm. We had to wait till almost 4 pm before our room was ready to check into. The staff advised that we could use the swimming pool while we waited, which we did. The swimming pool is very, very nice! Every time the AC running, it cloud noise came out. It must be very strong duct system. It also have alot of dust came out.

We were pleasantly surprised and pleased that our room was newly remodeled 5 months ago. Rhe room was near the sundeck which was enjoyable. Wish we had stayed longer.

I won't lie; there are more historic, atmospheric, quaint and charming places to stay in Cape May. But they come at a high price. For someone who just wants a reasonably priced, clean, comfortable place to stay the Montreal Inn will more than please the average vacationer. And the location on right on the beach is very convenient for anyone whose main […] focus is the sun, sand and ocean. For some rooms a balcony with a nice view comes with the room. It is just a short walk to most important shops and restaurants. If you do not need the "Victorian" atmosphere and want merely to feel comfortable at a price you can afford, in a location that is at the heart of the action, put Montreal at the top of your list. 더 보기

There was construction going on when we checked in and i had to tell the management a couple of times to have it stopped so that they dont drill the wall next to my room. The sound was very irritating and my toddler was pretty irritated too. Its too expensive for the condition the hotel was in. I would not recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was pretty nice, especially for the price. The rooms are suites with small kitchen, very small bathroom, living room, and bedroom. It seemed odd that living room has the balcony overlooking the beach, but it was kind of nice to be able to hangout there with great view. Montreal Inn did not provide the room we booked - one with a king size bed, despite our furnishing a printed invoice indicating the reservation. When questioned about it, the associate told us if she were us she would not complain since the room we got was better. We did not agree with her at all. She also badmouthed Hotels.com for making the mistake. […] Montreal Inn would not refund the first night. We ended up leaving immediately and checked in to a competetive hotel down the street. To us, it was better to eat the cost than tolerate such unprofessional conduct and poor customer service. Careful who you partner with Hotels.com. 더 보기

The hotel was clean, Bathroom was small and the mattress could have been firmer.

The Montreal Inn is a lovely hotel with a restaurant on site. The rooms are lovely and those with a balcany provide a beautiful and unrestricted view of the beach. The location is excellent. It is close to everything and if you don't want to drive, it is easy to walk anywhere - shopping, tours, restaurants. I would highly recommend this Inn. The room was pretty good, but it had the smallest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel. One of the elevators was not working (the one nearest our room, of course). Parking was poor. Most of the parking was very small spaces, and the primary parking (behind the motel) was filled up, meaning we had to park in front, which was further from our room.
