It was a great location for my stay. Very close to St. Catherines. The staff spoke both English and French and were very accommodating. There was parking but it fills quickly and so they had an alternate site (parking garage) a block away that we were able to use. You needed your key to use the elevator which added a layer of security that was nice. […] I loved the hotel room's choice of colour and style. I found this hotel online and as usual was biting my nails until I arrived as you never REALLY know what you're going to get until you arrive. I must say that we were very pleasantly surprised. Extremely comfortable beds and very friendly hotel staff. The breakfast was quite good for a continental. We did have to pay for parking ($20) but it was in […] a garage right next door so it was easy to retrieve if necessary. Metro was right there so we never took the car out until we left. Of all the hotels that my family and I have stayed in during our previous vacations, Hotel Dauphin is definitely one of the best. We were a little iffy when we first booked our reservation, but after much thought, we went for it and couldn't be any happier and satisfied with the outcome. Great location, as it is very convenient and easily accessible. […] Parking lots are very closeby; we parked our car half a block away from the hotel. Our mini-suite was impressive; we were on the top floor. The view was ok, but the room was cozy and beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was very modern and clean; the only thing we didn't like is that there was no fan or exhaust. Free water and free internet; the room has its own computer. It took a while for the A/C to work, but our room got cooler afterwards and everything went well. It is very quiet in that hotel, so you will definitely have a good night's sleep. Their complimentary breakfast consist of bagels, croissants, muffins, fruits, yogurt, coffee, OJ, etc. , and in my opinion, it is more than satisfactory. Hotel lobby is very presentable, and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who's planning to visit Montreal. 더 보기

Very clean. The bed and bath were top quality. Very good service. Excellent value.

The location is excellent, within a few blocks of the historic district. Rooms comfortable, and the desk staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here on a future visit to Montreal.

Parking is tight and limited! Great little hotel in downtown though! great price, very clean and modern. Free wifi and nice staff. Had a great stay!

Attractive room, comfortable bed and chairs, ultra clean; convenient to all needed services, attractions and transportation; excellent rates; extraordinary staff who do all that they can (with a smile) to assist, serve and make their guests feel "at home." Great Value. Stayed one evening at the hotel. We were in transit by rail from NYC on the way to Quebec City. Five minute walk to station - very walkable, even in winter. Hotel breakfast was tops for this level of hotel - enough to carry you through to dinner if needed. Bath as well was tops. Bed was best of three hotels we stayed at that week, including […] very top hotels. Staff very courteous. Easy walking distance to most neighborhoods of Montreal as well for those who enjoy walking. Only drawback (to us) was that it was in the convention center area so we had a 5-10 minute walk to Old Montreal for touristy things - not a serious drawback at all, but I figured I needed to include one. Located in a nice neighborhood, great to walk at night.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were courteous and helpful. I thought the parking too limited and the per night charge for parking is expensive. My stay was good overall.

Great stay, only problem is the parking, no parking but great location.

I loved it. The location, the room, the services - all were great. Very quiet place o sleep. Only one negative - their parking is tiny, very hard to maneuver. But there are open space parkings just 100 feet away. All in all, from now on, this is my choice number 1 for hotels in downtown montreal. location is excellent. However, i will not stay for another time. Breakfast sucks. Limited choices. (bread, small muffins, cereal, boiled eggs). does have fruit, bananas, however, Appels are unwashed. Holidayin express downtown has better breakfast than here, and room price is lower than here. requested for room cleaning at night, i was told "NO'. […] No toothbush and toothpast in the room you have to buy them from front desk. Really enjoyed this stay, room clean and well decorated with up to date amenities.Staff friendly and helpful, Complimentary breakfast an added bonus and a good choice of continental breakfast. Far better than the bigger chains. Very good value for money

This hotel was absolutely amazing. Our room was very neat and clean. I loved that it was hardwood floors. The best part was that there was a computer in our room with internet which became very useful when I had to book a last minute flight. The bathroom was very clean with plenty of lighting. just across the montreal convention centre. A very good alternative to Westin and Intercontinental for a fraction of price. Will definitely stay again.

Quite convenient (for convention center, old town etc.). A good choice for people who need to be at the convention center and dislike large hotels.

We had all the comforts we needed without too much of the excess frou-frou that we don't care for. We found the style to be sleek but not bare. The bathroom sink had space to put our toiletries bags. The room was big enough to have a friend visit. The continental breakfast had an espresso maker and fresh muffins baked on site.

Very reasonable cost considering the amenities. Comfortable room, outstanding location for Palais de Congress, breakfast pretty underwhelming, free Wifi. Onsite parking a tad pricy.

I highly recommend this hotel, and I am not easy to please when it comes to staying in hotels.

I arrived late and received the last available room which was on the second floor along the main street. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that the windows and insulation allowed only minimal street noise to be heard and thus had no impact on the enjoyment of my stay. Modern decor. Great location. Great experience

This hotel is within walking distance to old montreal. The room is well equipped with a computer and free internet. Flat screen t.v, coffee, bottled water & a fridge. The shower was fabulous. A nice surprise was the breakfast. Lots of choices. A very pleasant stay.

We were looking for a last minute hotel in Montreal for a lobor day. Dauphin was almost the only option available. For our greatest surprise we found very nice, renovated, clean and comfortable place in the center of Montreal - 2 minutes walking to the major attractions. We stayed with 2 kids in a room, which was spacious and comfortable.

The parking is a total mess as there is only place for 6 cars and can only be mangaed with a considerable amount of dexterity and time.

Location, breakfast, room were really good. It is near to 'old montreal' which is one of the touristic places in montreal. I stayed 3nights in this hotel. All of things were good, but there is no ventilation devices in toliet, so it was little bit humid.

I was very impressed with this hotel. There are great amenities in the hotel room including a computer. Concierge was very helpful. Clean and updated. Would definitely stay here again!

My son and I had a very comfortable stay... rooms were clean and modern. I would have liked a bathtub after walking so much, but the bathroom/shower was lovely. Location was great; around the corner from Chinatown, 10 minute walk to Old Montreal, 20 minute walk to Latin Quarter (where my son found an excellent microbrewery); we even walked to the Greyhound […] station on departure (20-25 minutes). Even though we left very early that morning (5:30 am), they kindly opened up the breakfast room which offered an excellent breakfast -- even a coffee machine that made excellent lattes and cappuccinos. The only negative note is about the beddings. The duvet cover should be made from a lightweight fabric for easy wash after use.

Staff is very helpful, breakfast is so good, close to all the attractions..... definitely satisfied with the decision of choosing this hotel for our vacation

We booked two rooms for two families to stay one night and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is very clean and located in a convenient location just between downtown and old Montreal. We went shopping downtown and came back to rest and then went to old town in the evening. The hotel was a good location, easy walk to many sites such as Notre Dame. The floors were hardwood and were never cleaned. My feet were black after walking around as were my roommates white slippers. Lighting in an other wise great bathroom is horrilbe. No lighting for great walk in glass shower. Oh, not one towel bar in bathroom was odd. There was […] no place to put towels that were used. AC worked very well, it was very hot when we visited. Front desk persons when we checked in were not at all friendly or helpful, later in the day the staff change proved to be much nicer. There is no bellman, luggage is put on the street by guest in front of hotel, no place to pull off street and I was chastised for taking luggage cart outside. I am elderly and have health problems and struggled to get suitcases into hotel, no one offered to help. This hotel has potential to be really nice but it sure needs some training and lighting improvements. There are only wall lights in room so you have all the lights or none of the lights, exception is one very bright light between beds. This really needs to be addressed, a few table/desk lamps would be an easy solution. Breakfast was nothing special but nice to be available. 더 보기
