매일 아침 코리아타운에 가서 밥 먹기에 아주 가까운 거리에 위치하고 있어서 예약을 했습니다. 호텔로비는 정말 럭셔리하고 안락한 분위기였구요. 근데 방 싸이즈는 너무 작았습니다. 여행 가방을 오픈 해 놓기도 만만치 않은 여유 공간.. 하지만 침대가 너무 안락해서 잠자기에는 좋았습니다.

맨하턴에서의 숙박은 자주 있어왔다 그러나 고민은 가격이 비싼데 비하여 좁은방 낡은 건물 불친절 등이었으나 이번 벤틀리 호텔은 친절함과 깨끗한 객실 및 다른 호텔에 비하여 밝고 사용하기에 불편함이 없었다 단 다운타운과 거리가 좀 떨어져 있었으나 그것도 괜찮은 정도이다

We had a wonderful time at this hotel during our trip to NYC. We were attending a conference at the Javits Center which was only a short walk away! Easy access to Penn Station train at 34th st. My fiancé and I stayed here during a visit to NYC for the 2012 NYIASA. The hotel was very helpful and allowed us to drop off our bags early in the morning, attend the show all day and still check in late that evening. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We stayed in a king room and it was very neat and clean but extremely small...There was no closet for our luggage, my fiance and I were literally bumoing into each other everytime we moved...it was ridiculously small...I felt closterphobic. When I got there I was in the middle of a rough trip having been to multiple locations prior to New York. The only thing that teed me off was that the clicker for the television did not work. I needed a last minute affordable room, close to the studio I had a very early-starting all day meeting at the next day. I read the reviews and sure enough, GEM was close by, clean, cute and most importantly quiet. Granted it was a Tues night. Staff was very friendly. TV remote control did not work but I never got around to asking them to replace it because I was too buzy.
The hotel invested in new remotes for all of our room just last year. Some TV's need to be refreshed periodically in order to work perfectly. We are one of the closest hotels to the Javits Center. Our staff enjoy the time they are able to spend with our guests to provide the most personalble service available.

The hotel was in an ok location. The room was a bit small, but it didn't bother me other than the fact that it was in the BASEMENT!!! We were told that it was the only room in the whole hotel that only had one bed.It was the only room down there in the hotel staff quarters. There were racks with hangers on them by the door. The staff were going in and […] out of the door to the steps, which were located right next to our door, all night. The worst part of our stay was when we realized our shower did not work. Me and my boyfriend both tried for 10 minutes to get the shower to turn on, and when we called the front desk we were told that they don't know how to work the showers because they don't use them. We have a single room in our lower level. It is not a basement. The room has a full window that opens to the courtyard, not below ground. We are currently reorganizing the space next to the room and some items may have been left out in the open, however, no where it would affect any guests. The shower does work in this and all of our rooms and all of our staff are fully versed on the operations of all items in every room.

Small, reasonably priced, great service, location perfect if you are staying around the midtown area. Wish bathroom was cleaner, but other than that, great place!

Our proximity to Penn Station make traveling from the major airport to the hotel inexpensive and easy. In addition, being located close to most major New York City attractions make us a great value.

"TOO SMALL"
We had a King size bed with 18" on each side of the bed and 1 foot of space at the end then a small desk. This was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. BUT it was very clean, the front desk personel were VERY helpful.

We could not have had a better experience with our hotel. The hotel held our bags all day before and after our stay and bent over backwards to help us out. The hotel was close to the train and subway and the staff had amazing food suggestions. A GREAT PLACE TO STAY, 5 STARS!

The super-small rooms, the non-functional TVs that have only sports channels, no room service, no mini-bar, and - NO INTERNET. You get what you pay for in NYC. My King Size bed was the ENTIRE size of the room. There was literally less than 2 feet surrounding on any side of the bed.

Situated near the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel there is a lot of traffic noise and you have to cross a ton of traffic to get to the hotel coming and going into midtown. I tried to find their preferred parking but couldn't and there isn't much parking nearby - something to keep in mind. I booked 3 nights online through hotels.com. The room was very small - I estimate approximately 200 square feet. It was attractively furnished, had a flat screen TV, and free wireless internet was included. The bathroom was updated, clean and plenty of towels were provided daily. In short I consider this to be little more than a comfortable, albeit expensive, crash pad but would stay there again if I could not find similar accomodations for less money. I travel a lot and the rate I paid felt very expensive for what I got. I understand this is more a statement about the cost of accomodations in NYC than it is a reflection on the relative value of this hotel. I needed to stay in the neighborhood, and this was the second hotel I've been in within half a mile. I felt safe, the room was clean, and the staff was nice. Negatives were having to go all the way to the basement for ice. My view was not inspiring and my air conditioning was challenged by the really hot conditions. It's a no-frills hotel (including the staff), great value for how clean and quiet the rooms are. After back and forth on phone with Hotels.com and the GEM hotel for a solid hour, FINALLY she admitted that there was one room left with double beds. Did a girls' trip to NYC with 4 friends. The hotel was easy located right off the Lincoln Tunnel. I reserved 2 double beds but when I got to the hotel, I was given a room with a king size bed. Thank goodness 1 girl wasn't able to stay because I don't know how we would of all fit in the king size bed. Great hotel at a great price. Rooms are small but clean, Looks like it may have recently been renovated. Free internet. Nice cafe just around the corner, and a gas station were all the cabs stop is very handy! Only downside is that the neighborhood is a bit "iffy" - I walked the four blocks from Penn Station, but might take a cab next time.
