Holiday Inn Express locations are always consistent in their performance in my experience. This property is more upscale than the standard Holiday Inn Express. Everything was great except the parking could be better, but parking would not keep me from recommending it to anyone planing staying in Bakersfield

Liked the multi nozzle shower. Do not like the height of your sink counters. That is NOT a standard. I have seen elsewhere in your motels and still do not like it!!

This hotel is very close to the freeway but its closeness was a wonderful plus. Easy access to lots of surrounding resturants, gas stations, and mini marts. The room itself was wonderful. It was very clean and very comfortable. Hotel employees were extremely kind and helpful. Will stay again the next time I am in town.

Large room, well decorated, clean & comfortable. Very good breakfast. Have stayed there before and will probabley stay there again.

This place was really good. Not only was the room very clean and comfortable, the people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay in Bakersfield!

comfortable, my room was on the hiway 99 side so it was a little noisy, but my bed was comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast had some choices, which was nice

My wife and I stopped here on our way from San Diego to Yosemite to break up the journey. Just off the highway, great. Buck Owens diner across the road was an experience. Breakfast was below average, but rooms were spacious enough. Decent shower. Good to stop off on the way to somewhere else.

Hotel was clean, service was above and beyond.

We stayed at this hotel as a stop off between SF and Vegas. We found that it was in a convenient location - easy to get into and out of and within easy reach of other restaurants (although by car). The staff were pleasant and friendly and the facilities were good - the pool was a welcome feature after a hot and sunny day. The hotel looked clean and the room was big. We stayed on the first floor and could hear whomever was above us on the second floor throughout the night. Overall it was noisy but other than that seemed like a good place to stay.

Had a great stay as usual and would recommend it to all our family and friends..

No disapointment in the room, very large, extremely clean, comfortable bed..........but do not take a room facing highway 99!!! Extremely noisy. Very nice experience. The hotel is situated in more of an industrial type environment but it was ok for me as I was there overnight for business travel - it is VERY convenient for on and off the free. The only negative was that it is not convenient (within walking distance) of a restaurant. But check this out - they had dinner brought in (it was very […] good mexican food) and it was free - you need to get there when it first arrives as it goes fast. On top of that, they give 2 bottles of water on check-in which to me is better than the cookie at the Doubletree (who needs the calories). I have been traveling to Bakersfield for the past 3 years on business and never knew they were there - I will definitely be staying there now on every trip to Bakersfield. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious with fridge, microwave, and sink. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and cooperative. Our room was spacious enough and everything was in working order. The breakfast wasn't sumptuous, but was certainly adequate for me - I'm not a picky eater. I slept soundly and that's very important to me.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at this year. The staff was by far the friendliest and most helpfull.

I had the most enjoyable experience. When passing through Bakerfields again I will book another night there.

The hotel was great - the area was a tad sketchy, but the room was extremely comfortable and the bed was awesome! It was in the center of Bakersfield, but Bakersfield is a bit off the beaten path if you're on your way between L.A. and San Francisco (as we were).

The hotel has a beautiful entry way and staircase. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The Wyndham will definitely be our hotel of choice whenever we are in the area.

This hotel was accomodating, and very beautiful. The bedding was top quality. Our stay was thorougly enjoyable.

The rooms were very nice considering the price. Very clean and well kept. My only complaint is that if you wanted coffee or breakfast from this motel you had to pay extra. Considering the room price that seemed a bit excessive. Additionally I fail to understand why motels such as this one include nice flat screen HD TVs in the rooms, but do NOT provide […] HD signal! The price of the room was very reasonable compared to the quality of the room. The desk clerk left a lot to be desired in his appearance - baseball cap, dirty shirt, unshavened, etc. That made me wonder where I had made a reservation! But once in the room, I was happy. Cal was a wonderful host. Convenient to the Hwy, friendly staff and nice lovely rooms. Enjoyed my stay.

I found the Wyndham in Bakersfield to be a lovely property with all the amenities of a fine hotel. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed and the bed was very comfortable.

fabulous! im a local that needed a place to stay because my air conditioner went out. the room was cool and comfortable, the bed was fabulous!! it was wonderful and suprising being in bakersfield! It was like i had a mini vacation right at home!

Strip club right in the parking lot. Highway out behind with some road noise. Take the good with the bad.

I thought that the in-room mini-fridge and microwave was an example of the hotel addressing the needs of the modern traveler. Many people bring dinner leftovers back with them for instance or like to travel w/ low-cost or healthy snacks and the opportunity to have a accomodation for that was really an example of this hotel going the extra mile.
