Hotel was nice but the room must have been pet friendly because you could smell the urine on the floor as soon as you open the door.

good for spent the nigth , if you want shopping you need a car

Well stayed here after coming back on leave the first two nights after flying for over 20 hours was a great place to stay it was clean and ver comfortable the only issue i had my card to get in the room did not work every time after i closed the door other than that great hotel.

Great price for travelers or shopping trip

Nice facility, however the breakfast was minimal with no basic things like butter, peanutbutter, etc.

The first room I was put in had windows that didn't lock so anyone could break in. The second room I was reassigned to had beds that were made of concrete and pillows the same. At least it was a handicapped room so the bathroom was huge.

Room was clean. Mattress and pillows were comfortable. Air conditioner worked very good. Only had one wash cloth for two people, I had to ask the maid for extra. The towels and wash clothes were stained and hard (Needed to be replaced). No refill for toilet paper for two days. No pool as advertised. Holes in bed spread. Safety lock on door was broke. Motel 8 on South 23 St.. Mcallen, TX., is one of the best that I have stayed at lately. The rooms are super clean, staff is very helpful and freindly.

Only 5 minute drive to the airport! Great staff, always willing to help (no mad faces here) Extra clean facilities Room has everything needed, coffee maker, micro, fridge, TV, desk, and ALL lights work!! Reception area personnel very courteous. I had to ask for a remote control, which the front office brought to me immediately. There was a permeating stench of smoke in the room. The gentleman suggested I turn on the ceiling fan. There also was a noisy neighbor.

the room was a little musty and the pool was very small but overall for the price i think it was fair,

located in an out-of-the-way place next to truck depots; staff would not let us check in until exactly the appointed time on the dot

the room I got had a defective sink drain and no hand towels; however my room was changed expeditiously when I mentioned the problem to the staff. There is a convenience store next door, but otherwise services such as restaurants are 3-5 miles away

We have stayed at this hotel 4 times, mostly because it is inexpensive when visiting my husband. This time was the WORST. We had to change rooms because the ceiling fan didnt work. Once we changed rooms, the bedspreads in our new room were ripped. Also the television remote was missing. i had to make 4 trips down to the front desk t o get a new one […] that worked. The breakfast is a joke. some cereal, a waffle maker with no waffle batter in it and some juice. I'm glad that we wont have to go down there anymore. 더 보기

This motel was about as expected. Convenient to McAllen, Mission, and Pharr. The room was a decent size and very clean and the pool was small but nice. On the negative side, the pillows were tiny and the bed wasn't very comfortable. They provided an extra pillow when I asked. The breakfast was kind of lame- no fruit or toaster w/ bread. They told me upon arrival my card was declined, then I found out they said I was declined due to a fee they charge for a safe in my room I didn't want in the first place. It was one big shake down. The first day at check-in The receptionist called Patel told me about the check out time was at 11am but he told me that leaving at 12:00 was ok for them with no extra charge . The last day of our stay around 11:15pm we received a call to our room from another receptionist asking to leave the room immediately if we are not going to stay another night, […] this girl called Melissa was very rude with me even though I told her that the other guy had no problem if i leave the room after the check out time . The Motel 8 was located close to the location I was needing to stay at but isn't necessarily close to any main locations except has pretty easy access to HWY 83. The breakfast wasn't great but it was clean and a place to rest my head for the night at a great price. The hotel was a bit difficult to get to which was mildly inconvenient. My room faced a wall which provided privacy but thats about it. The hotel filled up while I went out for dinner and I could not find parking when I returned. Otherwise the room was clean but the A/C was off when I checked in and the room was about 90 degrees!

The hotel was very nice and the hotel clerk was very helpful. The hotel is only about 5 minutes away from the expressway.

Booked hotel based on the reviews. The room was very nice, clean, big. Bed was very comfortable. I even took note of what type mattress so I could get one for home. Pillows not so great. Card key did not work well,as was mentioned in some of the reviews. We had to have it activated 3 times. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Great place to stay. But bring plenty of quarters if you want to use the guest clothes dryer. But for the price, hard to beat this hotel.

Rooms are OK for what you pay, the really good thing here are the beds, they are really soft and confortable.

The hotel wasn't too far to find off the highway, and was very clean and affordable. The room was comfortable,my only complaint was that the refridgerator made a lot of noise, but when I had a problem with it the manager said it was ok to unplug it until they could fix it the next morning. Buen sevisio, muy limpio !!

El hotel me parecio descuidado, la camabastente incmoda, la ubicacion es lejana y en un lugar muy solitario.

La primera habitación que nos dieron estaba completamente sucia, nos la entregaron sin limpieza alguna, luego nos cambiaron a otra habitación donde la regadera no servía y se mojaba todo todo el baño incluyendo los techos, el piso quedaba totalmente tapizado de agua, así como el lavabo y el sanitario, muy descuidado.

Esta muy bien ubicado, esta comodo viajamos con nuestros hijos y estuvo muy bien las comodidas que hay frente al hotel (tienda y burger king) le dan un plus ademas me sirvio mucho la lavadora y la secadora de monedas... todo ok

no tenian nada de desayuno no habia fruta ni leche

es un muy buen hotel con un excelente servicio, solo el desayuno que es gratuito no es muy sabroso, de hecho no lo comí solo hay cereal y hotc cakes.

Si no te incomoda dormir en cama con sabana sucias sin lavar oliendo a orines, estar en una habitación con el baño sucio desde que entras sin papel, un solo jaboncito y toallas chicas y ásperas, no vas a tener ningún inconveniente en quedarte aquí de lo contrario gasta 10 dólares mas y vete a otro lado

en general nuestra estancia fue buena solo que e desayuno fue muy mal atendido no habia cafe y la señorita lencargada no atendio nuestra peticion entendemos que es un desayuno sencillo pero cuando menos que tengan lo basico

Este hotel a pesar de estar lejor de las plazas comerciales es económico, cuenta con desayuno gratuito, las habitaciones estan en buen estado y lo único que esta algo descuidado son las escaleras y la computadora que esta en recepción, por si alguien tiene una urgencia es mejor que lleve su smartphone que ocupar la del hotel, por lo demás esta agra […] dable. 더 보기

Deberia de haber mas variedad en el desayuno que se ofrece. El area para desayunar esta demasiado reducida.

la vdd el hotel tiene muy buenas habitaciones esta comodo esta un poco retirado del centro el unico detalle que vi es que el desalluno lo dan hasta las 9:30 y yo fui a las 8:40 y ya no habia nada pero todo lo demas bien
