Rubin is a excellent choice for a stay in Hamburg. 7 min walk to central station where the city centre "begins". Metro just a block away from the hotel. Ps! There's a very nice bar at the hotel. And a good italian restaurant just five minutes away. Ask the desk; they know about it (recommended it for us)

This is a very nice hotel. Great security. A knockout breakfast buffet included with room. Only place I have stayed where the breakfast starts a 6:30 and ends at 11:30. Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the breakfast. The street is lined with trees and ultrawide sidewalks. If you are offended by porn shops, walk on the curb side of the trees. Very nice hotel, with freindly staff would stay again.

The hotel is a convenient choice for people traveling by train to Hamburg on a short stay, since it's close to the train station. It's also close to the center, though at the limits of a more popular district. For the money it's probably one of the best hotels in Hamburg. The only complain is the bed: there are no double beds! Close to main train station - 10 minute walk. Surrounding neighborhood is not family friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Helpful staff.

Was very satisfied w/the hotel until I went to check out. The desk clerk insisted that I pay for the breakfast buffet (which I had thought was included). She finally backed off when I showed her a printed copy of the reservation from Hotels.com. It didn't state "breakfast included" but, as she admitted, it didn't show that it WASN'T included.

Very good location to railway station, shopping mall, subway. Has a nice restaurant with good food, reasonably priced. Would recommend hotel.

We loved it very much.

Excellent hotel, great first impression and it didn't disappoint. We stayed in a double room facing the front of the building. The room was very big and we couldn't hear any noise even if it was quite a busy street. The shower was very good and even though there wasn't wifi in the room, you could use the computers downstairs or use the wifi in the lobby […] etc. The location was very convenient - close to the centre and only one U-bahn stop away from central station - so not too close to the sex shops next to the central station!! It's got an U-bahn and S-bahn (Berliner Tor, which takes you directly to the airport) stop very close by. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but there were plenty of supermarkets (Lidl just opposite, plus Real and Bio-company) and cafés in the area. 더 보기

The hotel is convenient to the center of the city, just a few blocks on foot, but truly convenient to whole city via the U1, including the airport. The interior is quite new and very nice, beds are great, rooms are roomy. Service is quick and complete. Fabulous in all respects. Clean and comfortable and quiet. Cheerful staff who did all they could when our baggage failed to arrive due to airline chaos in the very cold weather. The onsite restauant offered excellent meals at a reasonable price, even on Christmas Day! Free internet and wi-fi in the reception area even worked! The hotel is not in a great area. We felt unsettled as we were walking to it. It is nice once you are inside though.

Stayed in Arcotel Rubin whilst on a Christmas markets holiday in December 2010. A well located hotel right on an underground route, it was clean and pleasent to say in. The hotel was withing a short walk to the main station and not much further to the centre of town. There is an Aldi supermarket opposite which was ideal for bits and pieces for your room and great value. Some sex shops 500 meteres or so but these are not a problem. The metro was 3 mins walk so all in all very good value in all respects. The hotel is modern, rooms were clean and spacious, staff were helpful, beds were comfortable. The other reviews seem to suggest that the area is a bit seedy, but it's not that bad. Aside from a few scattered sex clubs and porn theaters, the street is clean, there are normal shops in between, and it's pretty safe. When we showed up for breakfast, they just took our room number down, but nowhere was a price displayed. I guess we just assumed it was included. (They could do a better job of telling you.) Got a great rate at this hotel and it was a very comfortable, modern and sylish hotel that is close to the central station and a 10 minute walk to the Alster. Some parts of the surrounding neighbourhood are sketchy with sex shops etc. but the main road into the city centre is absolutely fine. This hotel was very nice but the only complaint I have is about hidden charges. I thought that breakfast was included in my booking and when i came to the breakfast room in the morning, they ticked my name off the list, not mentioning anything. When checking out, I was told that breakfast was not included in my booking and that the buffet costs €17 […] per person !!!! It is extremely over priced and I would suggest avoiding this expensive breakfast. They provide a slow speed LAN internet connection but if you want a high speed wireless connection, you have to pay extra. Otherwise, the hotel was very comfortable. 더 보기

Alt i alt et rigtig godt besøg, beliggenhed 100 meter fra U-Bahn station er ideel - især kombineret med Hovedbanegården 5 min væk. Vi boede på 7. sal og vendte ud mod den trafikkerede gade, derfor var der en del trafiklarm for det følsomme øre. ikke en lyd fra de omkring liggende værelser. Hotellet är OK. En stark trea. Rummet jag övernattade i var rent, fint och modernt inredd. Området där hotellet är beläget var däremot värre än jag förväntade mig.

Das Hotel liegt nur ca.1 Minute von der U 1, Station Lohmeierstraße, entfernt. Es ist sehr sauber, das Frühstücksbüffet sehr lecker. Einziges Manko ist der Straßenlärm. Bei offenem Fenster zu schlafen ist sehr schwer. Alle paar Minuten fahren Einsatzfahrzeuge mit eingeschalteter Sirene am Hotel vorbei. Super Hotel, ca. 5 Minuten (Fußweg) bis in die Innenstadt. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich mit Rührei, Sekt, Müsli und vielem mehr. Die U-Bahnstation ist nur einige Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. U- Bahnstation gleich in der Nähe. Man muss wissen, dass das Hotel im St. Georgs Bezirk liegt. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett. Wir erhielten, statt eines gebuchten DZ , eine Suite . Das Personal in der Bar, war überfordert. Es dauerte sehr lange, bis jemand auf uns Aufmerksam wurde. Frühstücksbüfett, war in […] Ordnung. Super lækkert hotel der overrasker positivt i forhold til billederne.. Store og lækre værelser Vi bestilte morgenmad sammen med opholdet og det var alle pengene værd... Stort friskt udvalg - også champange for dem der synes om det til morgenmad...... Flot værelse og bad. Standarden af værelset (god størrelse, gode, store senge) levede op til forventningerne for et 4 stjernet hotel. Rengøringen i top. Hvis man skal finde en enkelt ting, der kunne være bedre, så er det at lyddæmpningen mellem værelserne godt kunne være lidt bedre. Til gengæld var lyddæmpningen til gangen og til gaden god. Vi skulle […] betale ekstra 20 Euro pr. person for morgenmad (langt over det rimelige). Gik i stedet op i gaden Lange Reihe (5 minutters gang), hvor mange bagere, cafeer og restauranter tilbyder morgenmad til en brøkdel af prisen (5-7 Eur pr. person). Tip: Station til U-banen ligger kun 150 m længere ude ad gaden. Næste stop er hovedbanegården, hvorfra der er mulighed for omstigning til alle linier. Einfach gut...spitzen Frühstück mit nettem Personal. Lediglich eine Person ist durch "motziges" Verhalten unangenehm aufgefallen. Lage direkt am Centrum und durch U- Bahn in alle Richtungen optimal erreichbar.

Rigtig godt hotel. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale. God beliggenhed - kort afstand til restauranter (mange italienske), kort afstand til centrum og en Lidl på den anden side af gaden. God morgenmadsbuffet - kan anbefales! Eneste kritik er at træningsfaciliteterne kunne have været bedre - var kun 2 løbebånd og en enkelt træningsmaskine. Ellers ingen kritik […] overhovedet. 더 보기

Großes, gutes, modernes Hotel. Zu Fuß 8 Minuten vom Hbf. Man geht am Rotlichtviertel vorbei und das Hotel liegt an einer großen Straße. Fenster isolieren aber gut und die Zimmer sind sehr groß und modern eingerichtet und sauber. Frühstück kostet 20 €, Qualität ganz gut, aber 5-6 € zu teuer. hotellet er nyt, men stjernerne bør kun være 3-4. en stiv stol på værelset er for dårligt, Badekåbe skal hentes i receptionen - småligt.

Det er et dejligt hotel med god morgenmad og fin beliggenhed. Der er kun 100 meter til Ubahn og 300 meter til Lange Reihe - en hyggelige gade med mange gode restauranter. Den eneste anke er at deres Internet ikke er gratis, der er dog 3 pc'ere i lobyen til fri afbenyttelse. Vi kan helt sikkert anbefale hotellet til andre.
