We decided that the Swissotel had a good location and the price for our 5 night stay was fair. Upon arrival, we could see that we made a good choice, the hotel really was in the centre of the city with great views of the coastline. Upon check-in we were greeted by a very friendly and polite young lady named Safiye. Her English was excellent! The room […] she allocated was facing the rear of the building which included the very green gardens and pool complex. At first we were hoping to have a sea view, but this would have meant putting up with the traffic noise so we highly recommend a pool view room. The rooms were clean, modern and the balcony to the gardens are very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty to choose from to suit all tastes. However, there was one thing that I have to mention and that is that the housekeeping staff did forget to leave us hand towels on two occasions - something for the hotel management to check and fix but I didn't think it would be fair to mark this hotel down on this small oversight. Many thanks to all at the hotel staff that made our stay a great one, including the friendly coffee and tea servers at breakfast and once again many thanks to Safiye who also checked us out on our final day. This was the most beautiful hotel room I have seen in a long time. They upgraded to a business suite which was lovely...Asian, panelling, travertine marble everytwhere, jacuzzi tub...truly lovely and nice touches like a half dozen long stem pink roses on the table, chocolate liquor truffles, fruit, pistachios waiting for your late night snack. Perfect hotel the best in Izmir. One bad thing room a bit small.

It was our first trip to Izmir Turkey, I checked several travel web sites about hotels in Izmir and this hotel was highly rated. Having stayed there, I totally agree with the reviews. After my hotel in Geneva, the Swissotel felt especially luxurious. I felt like I reached an oasis and didn't want to leave. I kind of wished I'd had a room on the other side with a view of the Aegean, but the pool/garden view is nice, too. I felt very comfortable here. Beautiful bathroom! Within walking distance (20mins walk) to most sights. If you don't have sea views room, then request for rooms overlooking the pool.

We loved this hotel and couldn't fault the service or comfortable surroundings. some hotels claim to be 5 star, this place most definitely is. I would happily recommend this one to anyone. very conveniently place in a central location close by local restaurants and shops, with a perfect view of the sea, all only a minute or two's walk. Beautiful hotel in Izmir near the shore. One of the best service, best trained professional staff I havn't seen in years. Excellent restaurant on the roof, dining with a beautiful view over the sea. Rooms are very modern, free spa is great.

Not knowing Izmir very well, looks like I made the best choice for the place to stay. The hotel has a very modern design and surrounded by nice art. Staff was really helpful and friendly, they answered all my questions very clearly when I first came. The outside pool was nice and refreshing; also having a hairdresser was really convenient for me since […] i was there for a wedding. Although my room did not have a special view, it was really comfortable and useful. They had all the basic things you will need in a hotel. It was also great to have complimentary coffee, tea, water etc. Small detail but helped me to start my day. I would not hesitate to suggest this hotel to anyone who is visiting Izmir. I was really impressed with all aspects of the Swissotel. Rooms were great, staff super-friendly, pool and gym are great. I also liked the fact that nearly everything was free: wifi, tennis courts etc. For the price I thought it was excellent value (apart from the beers by the pool - approximately a 500% markup, watch out).

Dinner at the attached Tike restaurant was great (the best Turkish food we had in Turkey). However, be careful as the samples/appetizers they bring are not free. I was a little suprised to see them on my check since I didn't order them... but didn't complain since they were delicious and I wouldn't have tried them otherwise. If you don't want them, […] I'm sure you can just decline/refuse them. The room was very contemporary and nice, and I loved having free wi-fi and an RJ-45/Ethernet plug for an even faster connection. The nearby Cafe Crown (just out the front door and to the left one block... on your left) was great for coffee/tea and deserts. Very quality hotel in the perfect place in Izmir. Very helpful staff, were tremendous in their knowledge of english and helped set up tours. If you take a tour, accept the fact you are going to a carpet factory, unless it is on sunday, because it is part of the culture, but the meal at the carpet factory is GREAT! Hotellet lever i fulde grad op til 5*, men er også det dyreste hotel i Izmir. Ligger fantastisk, gode faciliteter, god service i alt en god oplevelse.

Standart odalar küçük, konfor fiyata oranla düşük. Kahvaltı, temizlik, personel ilgisi iyi. Otelin konumu çok iyi.Genel değerlendirme sıradan.

Otel konum itibariyle çok iyi.Şehrin kalbinde yer alıyor.Kahvaltı da iyi.Odalar biraz küçük ama konforlu. Yine de İzmir'in en iyi oteli değil.

özellikle sizin sitenizden yaptığım rezervasyon fiyatı diğer yerlerden daha ucuzdu. sanırım artık sizin sitenize bakmadan net karar vermem.teşekkürler.

Excellent séjour, Spa magnigique, personnel aux petits soins pour ses clients, emplacement idéal... La navette Havas pour l'aeroport est au pied de l'hotel. Tout est prévu pour passer un tres bon séjour.

Nous avons séjourné (en couple) une seule nuit au Grand Efes et c'est notre plus grand regret! Nous avions choisit cet Hotel car la navette pour l'aéroport (Havaş) s'arrête juste a coté : ce qui est bien pratique et économique. L'hôtel mérite bien toutes ses étoiles et offre un service extra. Sehr gute Lage, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, freundliches und bemühtes Personal. Zimmer etwas klein aber geschickt eingerichtet und sehr gut schallgedämmt. Leider lassen sich die Zimmertüren zuschlagen und das ist auch in den Zimmern deutlich hörbar.

Her yönüyle çok kaliteli bir otel kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

Niet goedkoop, maar goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Kamers aan straatkant hebben wat verkeerslawaai. Perfecte busverbinding met het vliegveld van Izmir.
