VERY NICE HOTEL, LARGE. IN WALKING DISTANCE TO THE MAIN DRAG. GREAT ATMOSPHERE. THE ONLY THING (AND MANY HOTELS DO THIS) WAS THAT THEY PUT A DEPOSIT ON YOUR CREDIT CARD AND CLAIMS IT WILL BE OFF WITHIN 2 DAYS- WHEN I WENT INTO MY ACCOUNT IT WAS ON THERE FOR OVER A WEEK. The Westin Annapolis is a very well put together hotel with a polite staff and exceptional rooms. It gives the feeling of a 5 star hotel with great prices. Every part of my experience was wonderful.

The hotel itself was very nice and the staff was very hospitable. However, the hotel was undergoing major renovations outside, which made getting around a bit strained. The wireless didn't work very well, there were few places were the network was available.

Found the Westin - Annapolis to be a very pleasant place to stay. Staff was very professional and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable and rates were very reasonable. This will be our new choice for future trips to Annapolis!

My wife and I booked (1) king sized bed but we were put in a room with (2) really small full sized beds. We came here for our wedding anniversary that was one for us to soon forget. I was very disappointed with our arrangements. Annapolis was fun though just stay at a different hotel. Especially, not for the price per night.

although the Westin is a beautiful hotel, I was not pleased by the reception. I tried to check in at 1:30 and was told my room would not be ready until 3:00. When I returned at 3:30 my room was still unavailable. I asked how long it would be & was told they were uncertain. I was asked to check back periodically after about 30 minutes. This Westin has great staff who are very helpful. We were provided special attention and reservations at nice local resturant due to the hotel staff. Included special seating at resturant - VIP notation on the table (which were weren't VIP) - and a free desert. In addition, we were provided free breakfast buffet and other great amenities. The valet […] staff were excellent and directed us to a quaint town on the Bay for a day trip. Within walking distance to downtown Annapolis and the dock area, Naval Academy. Our overall stay at the Westin was very nice, room, just everything. I was just surprised my husband carried our bags into the hotel.

The hotel and my stay were on par for what I paid ($165/night). I stayed for business purposes. My wife and I recently stayed at the Westin in Annapolis. Our room was neat, clean and comfortable but the staff dropped the ball when it came to room service. The breakfast order was prepared completely wrong. Also our in room coffee maker did not work and we were charged 6 bucks for room service coffee. Kinda tacky for a four star hotel. Being from the Annapolis area, I have stayed at many of the hotels for "stay-cations." The Westin is by far the nicest one I have stayed in, and is well worth the extra money if you are looking for luxury, comfort, and convenience. It is a little farther from the "downtown" area than the other hotels, but still walkable day or night (10 min walk tops […] to the dock). What a place. Peolpe were awesome. Valet service terrific. Rooms very comfy. Best place I've stayed in a while. Made the vacation one to remember.

Had to hunt up help to clean room. Parking was extra. It was handled by an outside contractor and was explained very poorly. We found parking on the street on our own. $5.00 discount to decline fresh linens and maid service was offensive when paying what we paid per nite.. Everything was just OK, but I've had better in NYC.

The Westin Annapolis was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. We booked our Boyfriend/Girlfriend weekend there and left an engaged couple. When I was looking to book an overnight stay for an upcoming trip--a short, grown ups only stay, in a small town within 2 hours of my home, I was ECSTATIC that there was availability at Annapolis Westin. I've stayed at DFW Westin many times and it's become my favorite hotel/chain... I was thrilled that my special time away with my special someone was […] going to be at a Westin. Things went South from there. Check in was easy and no problem. As soon as we got to the room, I was amazed by how small the room was, but realized that in an area like Annapolis, space probably isn't a luxury often afforded by hotels, so it wasn't a deal breaker. I also knew our time in the room would be sporadic, so I was more than happy to overlook it. I was disappointed that I didn't have my usual huge shower(as in other Westin's I'd stayed in), but was very happy with the extra deep bathtub. We put our stuff down and I sat down on the bed to relax for a few minutes.... within seconds, I noticed what appeared to be stains on the sheets... this is very distressing to me, I'm kind of freaked out by things like that. By the time I turned off the TV to call the front desk, we heard blood curdling screams from what sounded like a very small baby nearby. I realize that small children stay everywhere, I have 4 of my own... kids cry.. it's expected. But I don't expect to have to hear it so loud--obviously the walls are paper thin.. this was another disappointment. I called down to inform the front desk and was told they'd call me back in a few minutes to let me know if they could arrange a more suitable room. No apology(for the sheets, I mean). A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door... a bellman was standing there with a cart... since I hadn't received a call back, I hadn't pulled our stuff together(we'd just gotten there, so there wasn't much to put back together). I loved this hotel. Everyone was so friendly and the hotel was very clean. The room was very nice, comfortable, & very clean. The style was very modern and nice to look at, I felt good coming into the room. I only had one issue; they should have fee internet service.

The hotel was wonderful. Rooms were neat, clean and comfortable. My favorite was the deep bathtub which I enjoyed with a good book. The bed was super comfortable too. The shuttle service for downtown Annapolis was perfect for getting around, staff friendly and very responsive when called for pick-up. Great place to stay with good restaurants and spa close by. Walking distance to harbour with great sights along the way. Only negative, they had a problem with their hot water and I had a luke warm shower both days of my stay. I think this is an isolated insident.

I will say the only negative about this hotel is that when I went home I completely hated my bed!!! The king bed was so inviting and comfortable, I could have slept there forever!

Reserved at this Westin because of a positive experience at a Westin in Miami. Location to Annapolis waterfront was a 20 minute walk, but also hotel offered free shuttle...that made it easy to return downtown for an evenng out. This Westin was fairly new and the decor was tasteful and modern. Room size was good, room linens & furniture were comfortable, […] breakfast buffet was nice. There seemed to be a shortage of staff for one breakfast buffet, but the hotel manager was wonderful ,assisting in the restaurant to fill any voids. Upon check-out, a restaurant charge had erroneously been charged to our room. When we pointed this out to the desk agent, she did not have a helpful attitude. However the agent working beside her immediately intervened and assisted us in resolving. Also, all other staff we encountered throughout our stay were extremely helpful and polite. extremely nice hotel, wonderfully comfortable beds, dog friendly and great martinis -- what else do you need? it's not the closest hotel to the heart of annapolis, but it's a nice walk and there is a shuttle that run every 15 minutes. enjoy!

Great location right in downtown annapolis. Everybody was friendly, room was beautiful, area was very clean and upscale.
