The hotel is located in a perfect spot, the rates were competitive, and the room was pretty nice. It seems like a place that is in need of a renovation. The lobby is unappealing, the mattresses are not very comfortable, the headboards on the wall bounced every time I did more than breathe (I fixed the problem by placing a sock between the headboard […] and the wall. The stay was awful the room was nasty n smelled Like mildew.. The whole time I was there I heard banging from 8 til 5 cause they were doin construction didn't get to sleep in.. The cable went out for bout 6 hrs n the lights went out for an hour n top of all that my key card stop working and it took them over 20 min to fix.. This isn't a five star hotel, but it was comfortable enough and cheap enough to have a great time on the beach. The service was awesome and my friends and I had a blast. The rooms have been updated and I had an overall excellent experience.

Location a plus. Great restuarant with awesome people that work there. Hotel was definitely not a 5 but guest services were very friendly and nice. Pool was ok not enough lounge chairs out there. The price was rite for the stay, just a weekend getaway.

We were very satisfied with our hotel stay. The staff was very nice even let us check in early. This hotel is close to everything - the beach, shopping, restaurants, and had a great pool! The only bad thing I can say is the walls are VERY thin! We could hear the people next door talking in a regular voice....but overall it was great for the price!!

Got to the STINKY room and found out the toilet had overflowed and couldn't have been too long before we checked in as the carpet was soaked.....and the room had a putrid odor.The staff was very helpful and said they could change us to there last room and when we got to it....there was such a foul odor in it as well, our kids even asked us to go to […] another hotel. It was not what we thought it would be. i will never go back or will I recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel is old and in need of maintenance. Room was not cleaned or supplied with routine items. Room was dirty. Would not recommend this hotel for families with children.

Requested 2dbl beds got a king room was dirty had roaches in bathroom and the room was 3ft away from bar/band area

To start with the front desk was not helpful. We had no phone, no tv, . Then the ro was dirty. The window was cloudy so couldn't see thru well but there was dirt and a long grey hair hanging on it. Tool shower with shoes on. Should have read reviews first.

To be candid, the location was excellent ! The hospitality was excellent! The carpet needed shampooing! I had white socks on and walked on the carpet and my socks were dirty afterwards. The hotel is right across from the beach which is a huge plus! It's quite inexpensive for the location. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel, don't stay here because it is just normal. The rooms are clean, they don't smell, at least 211 didnt! The breakfast was great! And they didn't charge us. They had no problem. CLeaning the room and there wasnt […] any crazy kids around. However, there is a band that may play in the resturaunt on the weekends, and they playl till around 11. This is just something to consider! the pool has a great view, the pool is great for kids( only goes to 5') for a place to sleep and shower right from the beach, at such a low cost, it was Wonderful to me! 더 보기

The hotel was worth what we paid. It was clean and across the street from the beach, which is what we wanted. We would stay there again.

I was looking for a last minute trip to the beach cheap and this fit the bill. It was close to the beach and other attractions and the room was clean. Nothing fancy, but clean. The only real issue I have was the advertisement of a free breakfast. I was thinking this would be a plus but the first morning we go to breakfast and was told I would have to […] pay for two of the meals ( there were 4 of us). Then they bring out day old biscuits and cold pancakes for the kids. I felt mislead in the advertisement. We had an issue with the keys systmen but the staff was quick to have it fixed. They had to replace the lock on the door. With the exception of the breafast ordeal I was ok with the rest of the stay. A coffe pot in the room would have been nice. 더 보기

Very disappointed with the hotel. Our first night there we were getting ready for bed and when we pulled the bedspread back there was trash all in the bed. This was at 11:45. My husband called the desk and asked if someone could bring clean sheets and they told us someone would be right up. An hour later I had to walk down to the office to see why no […] one had came to our room yet. The guy working the desk said my husband gave him the wrong room number when really he never asked my husband what room we were in. Front desk uproar. Room okay but smelled old. Definately not worth what I paid for it.

You get what you pay for. The front desk clerks are not the friendliest, but the room was clean and totally comfortable. Worth the cash.

Hotel was in a great location!!!! Room smelled bad but that is the only complaint. Price was good and they accept pets which is a plus. I would stay here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE! When I first checked in and saw my room I wanted to leave immediately. The room was completely dark, looked NOTHING like the pictures posted on the website, the bathroom was so nasty that my son nor I either one would shower even with flip flops on, the bed was disgusting - crumbs in between the sheets & stains on the sheets, there […] was white powder on one of the night stands (not sure what it was), the phone didn't work at all, the blow dryer quit when I was half way through drying my hair & did I mention the sea gull feather & gigantic grasshopper under the edge of the couch. I was waiting for the roaches to greet us at the door. It was NOT worth what I paid for to stay in it. I checked in at 9PM on a Friday night and was checked out by 6:30AM the next morning. It came with a continental breakfast - I left without eating. If the room was that bad then I definitely didn't want the food. When I checked out and was asked how my stay was - I was quite fatigued due to no sleep and when I explained my entire night to her - her response was "well, we are doing some remodeling". Our room was suppossed to be NON smoking and it wasnt. The smell of smoke was terrible. They would not let us change rooms. The room was moist and smelled of mildew/mold. The beds were terrible. Will NEVER go back

Great location and wonderful view espcially from the outdoor pool which is located on the 3rd floor and practically over looks the Gulf - problem was that it might have been 75 outside the water was like 55,stayed 3 nights and not once did they offer to clean our room or change our linen but the staff downstairs was great

The people were very friendly, but the room itself was seriously lacking maintenance and outdated. The linens were clean, but that is about the only good thing to say about the room. There were unfinished floors in the bathroom, horrible stains on the carpet, the a/c system smelled REALLY BAD, there were roaches, and they only had 4 local channels on […] the tv. We arrived at 12:30 pm after a long drive and requested an early check in. The desk clerk was very rude and said no although she had plenty of time to take a smoke outside. There weren't very many guests at the motel. The bathroom was nice but the bedroom floor was filthy, windows dirty, an empty bottle on the ledge inside the curtains, dead flies on […] the inside ledge and the outside windows were dirty. Checking in there was a minor problem but it was soon solve. They were pet friendly which was a big plus for us.The room was nice and clean and the microwave and refrigerator was a big plus also. The pool looked inviting but it was in the middle of Feb. . I would stay here again and tell my friends about it

Just let me tell you, I have stayed in 300.00 a night on the Beach,but this view was one of the best, and as clean as I have ever had.

Let me start by saying the free breakfast was great!!! That aside, the holet is not modern by any means and you definitely get what you pay for, however, in a city where Pets are not allowed the beach so most hotels and condo are not pet friendly, this establishment goes out of its way to keep a floor and amenities for guess traveling with pets. Very […] quiet, even though next door there may several other animals. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Did I say breakfast was awesome? Well it was!!! Location is at the center of the major state road so getting Pensecola, FL or Orange Beach, FL was as easy drive and did not require navigation. cheap motel right across the street from beach.

Service was friendly. Breakfast offered was somewhat disorganized. Room was comfortable and clean tho somewhat dated. Staff was there immediately to correct a minor problem. I would recommend this for what it is. It is very convenient to everything, have some beach views and walking distance to several restaurants. I would use this resort again.

The Beachside was nice, pet friendly, staff easy to work with. room was decent, we were pleased, they even give you breakfast in which we missed, next time though.... we definitley will be staying again....

My husband and I stayed her for one night only. We were looking for a cheap place close to the beach and restaurants; this place fit the bill. The only down fall was that breakfast was advertised on the web-site to start at 6:00 and at 6:30; when we went down to eat and leave, we found that breakfast did not start until 7:00. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Close to the beach. Great rates. Downside: the free breakfast stinks. Other than that, our stay was perfect.
