It was nice. The only problems we had was with some young people making alot of noise outside our dr, which was no fault of the establishment.

Very surpised about the hotel due to surrounding area. The road was under construction and the neighbourhood wasn't the type of place I would take a late night stroll to say the least. The only bad complaint I have is our refrigerator wasnt working and I needed my 9 month old daughters formula to stay cold throughout the night for her feedings....we ended up using an ice bucket. Room was clean & stayed nice & cold. Can't wait for another weekend get-a-way!!! :)

Had to ask for bath towels as none were in room at check-in. No iron available in room. We wished we had been on 3rd floor rather than 1st floor. There were annoying spring breakers making noise until 3 AM in the room above. Could hear them walking around and slamming their door multiple times. Outside of the above, not bad.

My stay was nice. I had no issues at all and when I did go to the front desk about things the wait time wasn't long as I have experienced in the past at other hotels. I extended my stay and was not hassled to change rooms. There were only two things that get a strike but were not bad: They could use some better towels and I had to get my room key reset […] several times. Other than those two, I was good. They could have put more washers and dryers there but it really didn't effect me. It's located near the downtown area and has other quick stops near the place. Room did not have a hairdryer. When my wife asked about this, the manager actually went out and bought one, for customers to use, with my wife being the 1st. Very impressive. Breakfast was OK and this hotel also had laundry facilities.

It's about a 10 minute drive to Corpus Christi Beach, a.k.a. Burleson Park, which is nice for a stroll on the beach near the USS Lexington. They also had a nice unadvertised complimentary breakfast that included OJ, coffee, hot chocolate, waffles or bagel. The coffee was good. I would not recommend this hotel to noone ,First nite we we're there i had to change my own sheets and pillow cases due to blood stains and hair and human body dirt and skin, this was so nasty, i had told the front office girl and she just handed me the sheets for me to change them myself she didnt offer me anything at all ,i also notice that the pillow […] had blood stains too and the other lady had gave me some new pillow ,they did tell me that they couldnt replace me in another room because the didnt hv a king size bed,we also had fleas and the bed was very uncomfotable ,spoke to the manager and all he told me was im sorry ,he was a very rude person ,i do not recommand this place to noone . 더 보기

There werew alot of plant workers that stayed at this hotels... They were getting up and starting their vehicles starting at 4 in the morning.... Car alarms going off ect... The beds were not all that comfortable....

Now I know why its the cheapest hotel in town and you should too. Forget about the neighborhood, let's focus on the room. I booked a "superior king bed" room on the first floor for the night. It was spacious and everything was in its place. I didn't see any bugs so I settled in. After awhile, I needed to use the lil boys room so i lift up the toilet […] lid and what do I see?? Pubic hair all over the seat. Not one. Many!! Later on while preparing for bed, I start arranging the pillows and one of the pillows I notice is covered with a thin layer of dust. In the morning I reach for the hair dryer and my hands literally get stuck to the handle. I look closer and realize that the hair dryer's original color is white. It just looks yellow because it is covered in filth!! This is true as well for the dial pad on telephone. I guess it gets a lot of use since the hotel offers free local and long distance calls. Microwave had dry food stuck all inside of it. During checkout I informed the manager of the condition of my room and she blamed it on being under staffed in the house keeping dept. The red roof inn on the other side of town is an older property. I stayed there last night. Better neighborhood. It cost more but I found it in better condition. But not that much better. 더 보기

THE TOWELS WERE THE WORST EVER! THEY LOOKED DIRTY...DINGY. THEY HAVE TO BE REPLACED!

The check-in process was great, although I had a problem with my key, but the issue was fixed after I returned to the front desk for the second time. I was a little scared about neighborhood when I read others' reviews, but it really wasn't so bad. I stayed on New Year's Eve, so the neighborhood was a little loud. This hotel is relatively new and well maintained. It is also clean and the staff is okay. The main drawback of this hotel is the fact that it is in a poor, ugly neighborhood. i check in at 3pm and they give me the room right next to the lobby? really? the worst room in the hotel is the FIRST one they assign? really? so i can hear the loud lobby TV and all the guests checking in all night long and staff conversations and all the drunk people stumbling around the lobby? really? oh, and there was an elephant in the room above […] me that kept falling down. i assume it was an elephant, there can be no other reasonable explanation for that amount of noise. talk about horribly cheap construction. this hotel is brand new but they cut all kinds of corners when they built this "gem". This hotel seems to be really new and in overall great shape. The pool is small but nice. They have a workout room that I didn't use and offer a continental breakfast. The only knocks I have on the place are for one, the part of town. Behind the hotel are apartments that are beyond ghetto! And that also goes for the convenience store next door. So with […] this hotel being right in the middle of those two, you get some unsavory foot traffic. The other problem I encountered was the maid service. They seemed to be sporatic in their cleaning. Some rooms were cleaned early while others were very late in the day. When I just asked for new towels, they only gave me one and said the others were drying but assured me they would bring some up. Well, they never did. We made do with what we had, but the maid service could use an overhaul. Hopefully if you decide to stay here, you will be one of the select rooms that gets serviced early. I made a reservation for 3, room only had towels for 2, when I went to the desk to ask for more they told me they were 'not ready' and that they'd bring them to me when ready, needless to say I never received them. When I asked about an iron, they told me they were all loaned out, I asked about a blow dryer and same results. When I went to the lobby […] the next morning for coffee (9am) they was not any made, I asked the desk clerk if someone was going to make coffee and she told me 'later' while she chatted with a friend at the desk. The hotel staff was very accommodating, even offering to dry my clothes in their staff dryer when the guest dryer hadn't completely dried my laundry after 2 cycles. I would definetly stay there again. The neighborhood is scary and shady but it doesnt really matter where you go in corpus its all the same. The great thing about this place is the price, cleanliness, and attentive staff.

This was a new, clean hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, and close to sites like the Bay, Lexington Museum etc. Only drawback was the surrounding neighborhood.

The hotel and service were good especially for the price. The problem was the neighborhood. I did not feel safe with gangs of hoodlums standing at the edge of the property and a stray pit bull eating garbage. Even the post office down the street had been vandalized. There were no towels in my room and she did get me two but did not give me a wash cloth as I requested. I would not stay there again. Loved the Hotel and the Customer Service, everything was clean and perfect...it has a great location... you have a Stripes Store in the corner and an HEB on the other corner... the pricing is also excellent... continental breakfast was perfect... Decent hotel room for the price. All of the towels looked dirty. One of the pillow cases had a large reddish brown stain on it. Hotel is located in an area adjacent to refineries and low income housing, just off of Hwy 37. The room had a very musty smell, grout in shower was dark and dirty, water leak from sink and the sheets smelled of body odor.
