메르큐르 파통 푸켓 (Mercure Phuket Deevana) - 까투

10월 말에 이곳에서 숙박했고 이 호텔이 좋았다. 이곳은 확실히 유럽느낌이 난다. 객실은 크고 침대도 컸으며 욕실에는 화강암으로 된 세면대와 멋진 욕조가 있다. 수영장은 특히 밤에 아주 멋지다. 직원들은 친절하고 해피아워와 스윔업바바도 훌륭하다. 이곳은 아마도 거의 5성급 호텔에 가깝다. 한 가지 언짢은 점은 로비와 수영장쪽에서는 와이파이가 무료인데 객실에서 인터넷을 사용하는 게 너무 비쌌다는 점이다. 그점을 제외하면 이 호텔이 좋았다!

Phuket을 방문한 후에 한가지를 말할 수 있는데 그건 이 호텔이 단순한 휴식보다 훨씬 훨씬 좋았다는 점이다. 호텔 밖에서부터 호텔을 보고 내가 옳은 결정을 했다는 것이 분명했다. 장점들 : 위치가 좋고 상점들과 레스토랑들 그리고 Bangla road에 가까움(하지만 소음이 들리지 않을 정도로 충분히 멀다) - 크고 넓은 객실과 욕실 - 안락한 침대와 에어컨 - 바가 달린 2개의 멋진 수영장들 - 정말 깨끗함 - 직원들이 친절함. 단점들 : 욕실의 서비스용품들이 형편없음. 칫솔과 치약, 면봉, 욕실 슬리퍼들이 없음(하지만 우리가 요청하니 제공해줬음) - 와이파이 사용에 요금을 내야 하는데 다른 저가 호텔들은 무료 와이파이를 […] 제공하므로 이점 정말 안 좋은 점이다. 로비에서만 휴대폰이나 노트북을 통해 무료 와이파이가 사용가능함 - 체크아웃을 1시간만 늦게 할 수 있도록 해줬음. 하지만 우리가 더 많은 시간을 요구했고 심지어 추가비용을 낼 준비도 돼있었지만 객실이 다른 새로운 파티를 위해 이미 예약되어 호텔에서 일찍 떠나야 했다. 그점을 제외하면 이 호텔은 상당히 훌륭하다! 이곳에 다시 돌아가서 예약할 의향이 있다! 밤문화를 즐기고 싶고 멋진 곳에 돌아와 쉬고싶다면 눈을 감고 이곳을 예약하면 된다. 사진으로는 멋져 보이지만 직접 봤을 때는 정말 낡아보였으므로 근처에 있는 다른 호텔들은 찾을 필요도 없다. 더 보기

이 호텔은 정말 5성급이다. 나는 Patong에 있는 많은 리조트들에 묵어왔지만 이곳이 최고였다. 직원들은 상냥하고 음료는 적절하게 가격이 책정되어있다 - 특히 해피 아워. 매우 현대적인 프랑스식 세련된 장식이 있는 객실. 수영장은 훌륭하다.

호텔은 batong beach의 중심지에 위치해 있었고 쇼핑하는 곳, 해변, 그리고 나잇 라이프를 즐기기에도 매우 가까웠다. 수영장이 있는 곳은 환상적이었지만 수영장 바는 하루 종일 같은 노래 7곡만 틀어줬다(태국 스타일). 방과 직원들은 매우 괜찮았다. 우리는 좋은 숙박을 했다!

The hotel was great. Breakfast was kind of expensive and they had flavorless bacon. Flavorless bacon! I didn't know that was possible. For dinner, walk to Break Point and you will not be dissapointed. Great food for a great price. I would say, pay extra for a room on the pool side as it is quiter than the outside ring of rooms. The view of the pool […] is better than the view of the city anyway. I did not care for Patong and would not stay in Patong again, constantly being harrassed for a suit, tuk tuk, or a massage, but that has nothing to do with the hotel. If you go on one tour here, go on a sea cave kayak tour. Take a more expensive tour as they limit the group size. Skip Phi Phi if you are here in the high season, the crowds are sickening. 더 보기

Toilet has terrible odor even after they try to clean it; only sprayed air freshener but never actually clean the toilet and its surrounding. Only provided two towels. Door knob/handle installed upside down. Water pressure is weak; shower drain clogged and causes flood. Bed sheets were stained when first checked in to the room.

This was the nicest hotel I stayed at in Thailand, and easily one of the least expensive as well. The hotel is in the south Patong area, a block or two from the beach, and a short, inexpensive taxi or tuk tuk ride from the nightlife area. (The nightlife area itself is quite noisy and a bit of a scene, so I think you're better off being a short taxi […] ride away.) The room are very clean and well-appointed. The staff is friendly. And the pool is nice and relaxing. My only complaint is that, like other reviewers, I found the shower to be quite cold. I used the shower head in the separate bathtub, which was fine. Overall, I recommend this hotel highly. I ended up extending my stay in Phuket for a few more nights, and I tried a different hotel further north (the Album Hotel) -- but it was difficult to get to sleep there because there's so much street noise. It's a good idea to be a little bit outside the main area. I ended up moving back to the Mercure, and I definitely would stay here again on a return visit. 더 보기

We stayed in a pool view room. Room was spacious and comfortable, although we did notice a musty paint smell when we checked in. It soon went away and didn't bother us after our first night. A very good place to be. Service is great. Staff speasks English well is very helpful. We managed to get all useful information about places to visit and best beaches nearby from the staff at the reception. The only annoying thing there is that WIFI is free only at the lobby.

Very nice hotel, beautiful pool. Staff was friendly. I liked the fact we were right at the end of everything, not right in the middle of busy patong, but still close enough to walk to eat, shop, & beach. I think I would try another hotel next time just to see what thats like, but definitely recommend to others.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Patong beach. There was a great pool in the center of the hotel. This hotel is in a great location and has a great pool. The management should STOP the "sun bed hogs"from claiming them as soon as it opens at 7am.Not once in our 8 night stay were we able to get one in the sun. The rooms are well appointed and we had a pool view (413) Breakfast was a good range of foods from freshly made omelets to an array of Asian […] dishes. Main problem was that the food was NOT hot! Even when they brought out some new baked beans... always cold.I would have preferred individual tubs of yoghurt other than a bowl you (and everyone else) helped themselves too ! They made great coffee, but only once was it hot. Reception staff do not speak very good English and it is a bit hard to communicate.Check in was fairly easy and we were given a lovley refreshing cold drink while we waited. My sons room had a mouldy smell to it. The charge for 24 hours of WiFi was extortionate.There was no discount for extra days. This is a serious rip off. When I stayed at the Horizon Karon Beach I paid the same for a whole week. That hotel was aso a lot better. The staff were more friendly. I wouldn't have stayed at the Mercure if I had know what they charged and having booked through expedia […] I couldn't leave without losing the money I had paid for my stay.
