Great location! right in the centre, we were only there for 2nights are room had a rubbish view of the room opposite, not very comfy beds, very warm and stuffy inside room even with the air conditoning on! overall for a short stay its ok when booking ask for a city view these rooms looked so much better!

We stayed at this hotel for one night and its very well maintained, the reception speaks good english and provides great service. Only problem we faced is that the air conditioner some times makes very loud noise of water flowing which disturbed our sleep. Location is good and was very clean.

If you are looking for a good weekend destination on the East Coast of Spain, consider Girona. And if you do, check out the Penninsula Hotel. It was nicely situated on the edge of the downtown area where all the interesting things to see are, and was reasonably comfortable for the price. They have a nice café and decent breakfast buffed (€8/person) […] and most of the staff spoke some form of English. Recommend highly. 더 보기

Excellent hotel - close to all amenities and a reasonable, fair price for the facilities.

Wonderful for what I needed. While there are wonderful places in the old city, Peninsular is located just before the bridge leading to the old city, making it the perfect location for someone who is loaded down with a big suitcase (as I was - carrying my suitcase uphill over cobblestone was not an option). Peninsular is walking distance from the train […] station, and, as a woman alone, I felt safe at night walking back from the old city as it is on an open street. Cafe on ground floor has great coffee and pastry - and great staff, and is more pleasant than the breakfast room, so I recommend not getting the breakfast unless you are a big breakfast eater. Make sure you get clear directions before leaving the train station, or just look for the bridge, as the hotel is not well marked. I chose Girona over Barcelona as the place to stay before my flight back to USA - definitely the right choice, but be sure to leave extra time for trip to Barcelona airport, as my train was 45 min late (fortunately I took an early train). There are 3 direct buses a day to the Barcelona airport, but the times did not work for me, 더 보기

Great location and parking close by(this was discounted by the hotel) Room very confortable and of reasonable size. No room service or drinks facility but there a couple cafes outside the hotel. Its close to the old part of town(literally over a bridge!) The new town with larger shops is 10mins walk. and a saturday outside veg market and indoor meat […] market close by. It is a nice hotel, clean and well maintained. The service is nice, the staff is polite and fast-responsive. Some drawbacks: the breakfast is not what I expected for the price (I am a bit disappointed). Also there is no ironing facility - the only way to iron things is to give your clothes to dry-cleaning (i.e. pay for that). For a light business traveler […] - this is kind of irritating. Good location . Within easy walking distrance of all attractions and most activities

As this was a very busy time in Girona, the Peninsular Hotel was the only hotel which we could find for our two night stay. I knew the location from previous visits to the city earlier this year, so it was ideal for our seeing the start of the tour stage and also the old city. Su relación calidad precio es muy buena. Es un buen hotel situado muy cerca del casco viejo. Eché en falta algun enchufe en la habitación....

Hotel perfectamente situado junto al casco histórico de Girona. La recepción está muy arreglada y el personal ha sido muy atento, con mucha simpatía y explicándonos todo perfectamente. La habitación está bastante bien, era de 3 personas aunque solo éramos dos. La limpieza, el baño, las camas, todo bien, a excepción de las persianas de la habitación, […] porque son un poco viejas y dejaban pasar luz por la mañana. El otro detalle a tener en cuenta es el parking, porque el hotel no tiene, pero tiene un acuerdo con un parking que hay al lado y con unas plazas limitadas. Como no había de "Día Completo", utilizamos una de "Plaza de noche" que pagas en el hotel y el resto del día lo pagas al parking. Más o menos te sale a 17€ por día, pero la verdad es que por los alrededores es todo zona azul, así que no es mala opción. 더 보기

Trevligt, rent och snyggt hotell med mycket bra och centralt läge i Girona. Wifi och AC på rummet. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Något hårda sängar.

Bra läge. Gångavstånd till tågstationen (om man vill åka in till Barcelona). Vi hade bokat in oss på hotell i Girona natten innan vårt flyg, och visste inget om Girona, men den lilla stan var en väldigt mysig och trevlig överraskning med många fina restauranger och väldigt imponerande medeltida stadsdel. Allt detta ligger jättenära hotellet. Om själva […] hotellet så var vi väldigt nöjda, sett till hur billigt det var. Man får vad man betalar för, men det var hyggligt fräsch och duger som övernattning. Det enda minuset var att det var lite lyhört. Man hörde TV-ljud & dusch-ljud från andra rum, samt att när dörrar i korridoren stängdes så hördes det rätt bra. Men som sagt, för det billiga priset får man acceptera det. Hotellpersonalen var bättre på engelska än hotellpersonal jag träffat på andra spanska hotell. 더 보기

No conocia la ciudad de Girona, una hermana me dijo que me quedara a turistear, creame que el lugar me encanto y el hotel lindo, con buen servicio, limpio y ademas muy centrico, Me encantó

Hotellet ligger meget sentralt, i gangavstand (10 min) til jernbane- og busstasjon, Placa Independencia og gamlebyen med bl. a. det jødiske kvarteret. Personalet var hjelpsomt og vennlig. Enkel, men god frokost. Rent rom og bad. Dårlig lydisolasjon. En del støy fra korridoren og fra trafikken.

chambre triste et impersonnel, hotel mal indiqué, pas de parking (parking public cher et eloigné) espaces communs inexistants, accueil sans chaleur : trp cher et pas en relation avec la beauté et l'interet de la villel

Hôtel correct bien situé près du centre, bon accueil du personnel, chambres standard, une bonne adresse pour des voyageurs de passage pour quelques jours

parfait, si ce n'est que dans une belle salle de bain, pas un seul crochet , ou endroit pour poser son savon dans la douche,super "minimum" pas commode.. surprennant même..
