I had the breakfast buffet (they try to get you to go that route) and there were empty hot plates and no one available to make the waffles or omlettes that were suppose to be part of the buffet.. There was only the maitre d' there, without any support staff. I asked for tea and was given some hot water and a tea bag. When I asked for more tea, I was […] given some more hot water. This was not cheap, the charge being $14.00. The whole hotel was run like this. When I checked in, the reception person was on a personal call and told me to wait. Then, to break the ice, she commented that she liked my purse. I had to go down and get the key to the minibar since it was not given to me. I also hate it when they charge for wireless internet, which they did here. Luckily, the service was so bad that I could not get on. 더 보기

Service in hotel was inept.They charged for everything.The business center was not free.Happy hour had some minor food ,but they charged $5 for a glass of poor quality wine. The free shuttle was unavailable. High price and poor overall.

Excellent stay for a one nighter in Baltimore between events. Clean room, good food and the entire hotel seemed to be kept up well.

I have stayed at other WESTIN locations before and use to 4-5 star hotels. This WESTIN should have been better. The parking in back is inconvenient from/to lobby & elevators. No vending machine in the entire building! I wanted a regular coke. They had a convenience store but was out of regular soda. Really?! The Westin was amazing! Lobby gorgeous, the staff very accommodating offering to help with everything and the rooms were very very clean, large, comfortable and stylish. The bathroom was huge, marble counters and had big plush towels. The Westin was far superior to the VERY expensive hotel we stayed in in NYC right in Times Square!

Great hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. Surrounding area is pretty devoid of things to do/places to eat, etc. But overall a great place to stay. Staff in lobby bar/restaurant are very nice and friendly.

If, like me, you are a fan of the Westin chain, you will everything you love about Westin here – heavenly bed, good desk and lighting, nice shower, amenities. But, this is the Westin BWI – it is airport hotel and if you are looking for reliable shuttle transport to and from the airport – forget about it. It took two calls and 25 minutes (and thee sightings […] of the Marriott shuttle) for the Westin van to pick me up at the airport, but that was forgivable compared to the experience the following morning. My flight was scheduled for 9:15 AM, so I went to catch the shuttle at 8:00 AM only to be told by a shuttle driver that I “just missed” the airport shuttle and that he was headed to UMBC – he said the shuttle should be back in 15 minutes. 25 minutes later, not shuttle and after finally getting the attention of the front desk, I was told that they didn’t know I was waiting –I had to remind them to make a call 5 minutes later and was told that the shuttle would arrive in 5-10 minutes – it didn’t. The UMBC shuttle driver arrived at 8:40 and seemed surprised that the airport shuttle hadn’t arrived – I pleaded with him to take me to the airport and he did so, after making another stop at the Sheraton. I arrived at the airport at 8:55 and miraculously made my flight after running with luggage through the terminal. I could go into detail as to the lack of responsiveness of front desk staff, but suffice it to say they did not understand the priorities of the business traveler – beginning with the need to get to the airport. The room also smelled of tobacco smoke, which I can tolerate, but would bother others. For BWI, the Marriott seems to be a better choice based on their frequent airport shuttles. 더 보기

Wonderful service and a professional staff made my stay a great expereince! I will definitely come again. The rates were low, room were clean and the food was outstanding!

The Westin BWI is a new and very clean hotel with easy access to and from BWI/Thurgood Marshall Airport. The Westin offers a restaurant/lounge, indoor pool and fitness room. The hotel and room decor is modern and tastefully appointed. We chose a room with a single king-sized bed for our stay which was very comfortable. I was only here for 8 hours, so I didn't have the chance to try out the amenities. The room was very comfortable and room service was prompt. I took the airport shuttle at 5:30am and the driver was nice enough to carry my bags and stroller to my airline check-in line without being asked. I would definitely stay at the Westin again.

Just 15 minutes away from Inner Harbor. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Location wasnt the greatest. Clean & very quiet. Lamp shade hanging off frame, ironing board cover lumpy but replaced quickly. Breakfast buffet well worth the $12.95

This was my first stay at a Westin and I can definitely say that I'm impressed with the BWI location. I recently stayed there, since my girlfriend and I were going to Baltimore and DC for some sight seeing. And since the hotel was centrally located, it made sense. The location was a lot nicer than I was expecting... and I had something already in mind, […] since it was near an airport. The hotel is beautiful... everything from the main lobby, full restaurant/bar area, decor, and the room in general. And for what you get versus the price... I would encourage you to find a better deal anywhere! I've stayed at plenty of other places around the world for twice or three times what I paid... that weren't even comparable to this place. The room had nice little details that I paid attention to (maybe because I'm a bit analytical)... such as granite counter tops, wide full window with view, LCD TV, big shower with dual shower heads, spacious tiled bathroom, clean enough to eat off the floor, and lastly a bed you would be tempted to steal and take home with you. It was also conveniently located to national chain restaurants, fast-food chains and a movie theater that's almost walking distance. Great location, service and rooms. Club floor was the best.

It is a nice hotel BUT the shuttle takes forever! Had to change rooms safe didn't work problems with lights and TV one day they didnt care to clean our room or make the bed! It was a good rate thanks to hotels.com the hotel had a more expensive rate!

I love staying at this hotel its very close to all attractions and the room service is great. Must try the chocolate glazed donut bread pudding its so good and the rooms make you feel so at home.

Very cool place to stay. Very modern look to the hotel. Very neat/clean. Comfy King size bed. Bar/Lounge is open til 2:00 am (yes) and quiet. Breakfast buffet is quaint and omlets are made to order and were delicious. Very nice and spacious exercise room for those that want to get their sweat on before wolfing down that omlet.

There was a convention going on and it was very busy and loud, in the room there was a buzzing sound all night and I don't know if it was coming from outside or the air condition But it was very loud and hard to sleep

Although the hotel was okay, they charged $5.00 to use the computers in the business center to print 2 boarding passes. I've never had to pay to use the business center before.

Beautiful lobby, very nice clean room good soundproofing (couldn't even hear the ice machine churning outside our room. If I'm nit-picking, not quite enough lighting and the closet doors were very tough to open and close. I also don't think you should have to pay $13 for wifi at this level hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel. Very clean and comfortable room, nice amenities. My only complaint is that the shuttle runs rather infrequently and I ended up waiting for about 25 minutes. Otherwise fantastic place to stay if you are traveling through BWI.

This Hotel was great for me and my family. Beds were most comfortable and slept very well. Bathroom was almost luxury style and shower/shower heads were perfect. Wish I could have stayed much longer!!!

No suites but nice rooms

This hotel met all my expectations, convenient location, good shuttle to the airport, room was perfect.

Very nice hotel. Maid service was poor . They cleaned the rooms but was not vacuumed. Bathrooms was poorly cleaned. Trevor was an excellent bartender however the rest of them was not customer friendly.

Beautiful hotel and very convenient. I have stayed here previously. The only opportunity I would mentioned is that I was a little disapointed with the front desk customer service. Room was not ready and inidividual was not helpful. As a starwoods corporate member, this not up to the standards I expect especially at a Westin or W facility.

I love Westin Hotels. This hotel lives up to the chain's rep. Beautiful property, excellent stay and amenities. The staff were so polite and helpful. Great room service and well priced. The bed - to die for...Nice bathroom with great products. Lobby with the water feature - stunning.
