Always a good hotel to stay

our room was very out of date, not modern at all when we checked in there was a wet towel scrunched behind the bathroom door which had obviously not been removed from the last people the 'hotel policy' is NO LATE CHECK OUTS - very poor breakfast was very busy and not enough staff on, everything was running out, obviously not going to be replaced for […] a while so you had to 'scrape the bottom of the barrel' to eat i would choose another hotel in the area rather than stay here again - the only positive was the pool area. 더 보기

Hotel was conveniently located on A5 and M69. Facilities good, food fairly good. Only downside was that the bed was so hard that neither my wife nor I could sleep all night.

The hotel was pretty good but a very weird lay out! As you walk though to reception it was very up to date and clean then we were directed to the lifts to get to our room! The loby area looked like a old folks home surrounded by old sofas all in a circle!!! with lots of brass! Very 80s! Lucky for us the rooms had been up dated and was lovely. This hotel is conveniently situated for access to motorway and Leicester. We chose it above a travelodge for an overnight stay adding 'luxury' to our stay instead. The pool and steam room etc is an added bonus. Lovely layout of hotel with lots of areas to chill out. Didn't eat in restaurants but could recommend room service and great breakfast. Only 5 channels available on the TV - unless I wanted to pay for movies. In this day & age this is really not acceptable. The advertised BBC3, ITV2 etc did not work. Could not get a fork into the "poached" egg and had to "shatter" the bacon up as it would not cut. As there was an egg in the dish - staff just left it there. But atlease they brought my […] cup of tea - other breakfast diners wre not so lucky If you love walking through hotel corridors and up hills to the car park then this one will suit you. All hotels users have to go in & out through the front lobby area. Plenty of dispbled space nearer the lobby - not one car using them. Also, broken glass ona stairway near to the gym 더 보기

Hotel was very busy, staff were very helpful,food was okay typical hotel food edible and over priced. Rooms very nice, location was ideal for us we were visiting the area for a family wedding.

I only stayed in this hotel for one night as I was working in the area. The hotel is an amazing place. It is pretty big as you would expect but looks very modern. There are a few bars there that were busy and had a lot on offer. The staff i encountered at the evening meal and breakfast were very friendly and efficient. There was plenty on offer although […] the vegetarian selection was very limited (My colleague was veggie) which is probably its only weakness. My Room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. The overall hotel experiance was very good, reception helpful, room nice and clean. Food at dinner and breakfast was good for the price, however over £4 for an orange juice at dinner just took the overall enjoyment out of it even if the business is paying. I will go again but ask the price of everything before buying

good hotel generally ,but on this occasion the bed in room 117 left a lot to be desired too firm with no give ,leaving me with two nights of uncomfortable sleep.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is very large and busy and obviously focused on business travelers (lots of conference rooms, tables & chairs set up in lounges etc.). I arrived on a Monday, and the hotel was emptying out after a busy weekend, so it was quiet and peaceful during my visit. The room was well-appointed. My only complaints […] were that the TV reception in the room was terrible, and the wireless internet service in the public areas was very slow (it was free, so I can't complain too much, but it was almost unusable). The location of the hotel was excellent for doing business in the Birmingham area. The hotel is right off the motorway and convenient to the Birmingham airport and NEC, while still outside the congestion of the city. 더 보기

The hotel is nicely set out with a modern attractive decor. Everything you need including ironing board, trouser press, tea making, etc.

It all went down hill after check in. The place is like Faulty Towers! Taps almost falling off both in the room and leisure centre. The Leisure centre showers - filthy. Stagnant water all around the Jacuzzi. No taps in the steam room to clean the seats. In our rooms there was mould around the bathroom, cobwebs in the lounge, the sofa in the room had […] "marks" all over it! The net curtains (yes I said net curtains) were grey with dirt. In the middle of the night the hotel staff were smoking outside our room so we could not sleep, as they were so loud. At the bar the staff had no clue who was next in line, and did not even ask "whose next," so you could be waiting ages whilst people push in front. If you expect 4* please do not go to this hotel it is nothing like you see on the pictures. 더 보기

As we expected, know the area, as we were visiting relatives. very good value for money.

Wasn't expecting much for the price but was very pleasantly surprised to get a room that was every bit as good as the 5* chains. Hotel was huge, and needed a little maintenance in parts (nothing major, just subtle things). Bar was good, first time outside central London I've been served San Miguel in proper frozen glasses so that's a big plus. Bar food […] was passable. Breakfast was quite a surprise as expected by 9am it would all be cremated, but all fresh and quite enjoyable, although the odd label on things here/there wouldn't go amiss (like the juices, as the apple looked more like cranberry in it's container colour wise). Overall, very convenient for where I needed to be for work, and would stay there again. For the money, and the proximity to Leicester, providing you have a car it would also make a good base for visits there. 더 보기

unfortunately the dishwasher of the bar and the restaurant need to be serviced. glasse had lipstick on. morning dishes were slicky

Das Hotel ist ein reines Tagungshotel. Die Facilities waren OK. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig, weil in den Ecken und oben im Schrank eine sichtbare Staubschicht lag. Ansonsten ist das Hotel für einen 2-3 Tage Aufenthalt zu empfehlen.
