뉴욕 호텔 & 카페 (The Inn at Creek Street and New York Hotel) - 케치칸

We arrived at ketchikan by Ferry and thankfully had a very obliging taxi driver, It was 11pm and raining The Hotel was locked up. The taxi driver finally got onto someone from the Hotel and a young woman came she checked that we were actually booked in, however she was unable to book us in because she didn't know how. The room we were booked in to was […] about a 4 minute walk from the Hotel along a boardwalk. Thankfully the rain had stopped at that time.The room itself was nicely appointed and was right over the creek, which roared all day & night. Not an unpleasant sound though. The next morning we had to go back to the office to book in. We were charged a late fee. The coffee shop at the hotel sell good coffee and breakfast. and the hotel offer a shuttle service to the ferry. 더 보기

This hotel was basic but at the same time had everything you need. The communal microwave at the top of the stairs was a bonus. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to and from the ferries so make sure you have there number with you to ring when you arrive, I didn't realise this and spent $14 on a taxi. My only complaint would be that although the views from my room were amazing, it was fairly noisy with the main road just outside my window. Maybe they need some double glazing. I was very pleased all the way around with service to the rooms... I already have given recommendations by word of mouth... I got to relax... That in itself is priceless...

We had a great stay at the Inn at Creek Street and New York Hotel. It borders both downtown Ketchikan and the historic district. The Inn sent a van to pick us up at the airport ferry terminal. We arrived early and they stored our luggage while we explored downtown Ketchikan. On Sunday, they took us to church on the other side of town. Finally, they […] dropped us off at the ferry when we left. The staff was very helpful and our suite was excellent. It overlooked Ketchikan creek. From our balcony we watched seals and otters swimming in the creek, as well as many salmon on their way upstream, The inn is located on Creek Street which is a narrow wooden boardwalk bordering the creek with dozens of small shops along it, which only allows foot traffic. The hotel is located in central downtown Ketchikan. Close to all major shopping and waterfront. Beautiful view from hotel rooms over looking the waterfront. The staff was very friendly and even gave a tour of the hotel and explained the background of it. It was awesome. Everything in our room was very old and antique looking. It was beautiful. The handles […] on the bathtub reminded of the ones you see in a Mickey Mouse cartoon. It was very cool. The stand up sink gave it just the right touch. The closet was one of the old armoires with the glass mirror in front. very awesome. I would stay there again the next time I visit Ketchikan. 더 보기
