I had a change in travel plans and needed to stay two additional nights. I reserved the room for the two additional nights with the front desk attendent and was informed the reservations were "all set". Upon returning to the hotel the following afternoon the atendent (same one who updated the reservation) handed me my cell phone charger from the front […] desk. I thought this was odd and went to my room to find ALL my tolietries gone, my food and drinks from the fridge gone, reading material and other misc. things gone and my bag still sitting on the bed. I immediately went to the attendent and she laughed. I am awaiting a phone call from the manager today - this happened yesterday. Needless to say I did not stay and I spoke to new new attendend (as this all happened at shift change) and she refunded my bill and was leaving a note for the manager to call me. I calle dthe reservation hotline to make my issue on record and the rep on the phone was very nice and helpful. While I was in the lobby on the phone, there were two other guests with problems associated with rooms and items missing. I would stongly suggest seeking londging elsewhere. 더 보기

Front desk was not open for late arrivals. Also it did not open until 7:00am.

Lots of questionable people hanging out in the lobby, making the entire lobby smell like smoke, leaving little room to move around. The room was clean, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable & there weren't enough pillows.

The Extended Stay in Grand Rapids was convenently located and had nice kitchenette but the bed was extremely hard not firm - hard. I had difficulty sleeping. The money saved was not worth the lost sleep.

Cars were coming and going all night with that pounding music and the place was just plain noisy we wont stay there again

Overall I found the hotel to be adequate. The location and price were awesome. The only isues were the size of the television and the comfort of the bed. Both of these items seemed to be left over from the 80s. Room was far to spacious for an old 19" tv to be a good fit. The bed was an old thin mattress with little support.

This place was clean n friendly the only problem was I kept getting sick cuz of the ac the air ducts most definitely need to be cleaned!

There's nothing wrong with the hotel. Clean, well maintained, polite staff, quiet. And I should have read the details more closely... But I find it extraordinarily annoying when hotels charge a surcharge for wifi access. And not only that, but once you log in, they offer to up-sell you bandwidth if you actually need to use said wifi access for anything […] more than casual surfing. If I'm traveling for business and need access to a corporate VPN, I would have had to pay additional money to get sufficient bandwidth to do so. So unfortunately, I cannot recommend this otherwise fine hotel IF you have the not unreasonable expectation that such a basic thing as wifi access will be free. 더 보기

Nice accomodations, clean, comfortable room.

Smellled of cigarettes in our nonsmoking room, burn marks on bed spread tv was older than me and fuzzy, served the purpose of somewhere to sleep but would not stay there again

I had never tried an Extended Stay hotel, but got a good rate and was pleased that it had a kitchenette. Very good value, nice room and will look for this chain in the future.

staff was pleasant and helpful. This place accepts pets but it was so quiet wouldn't even know they were there and I saw pleanty. Centally located to everything including a mall and food. They don't have ahir dryers so bring one.

I only stayed one night, I need it a place to sleep inexpensively . It worked for me.

Nice deal for the price. Lots of fresh clean towels, clean bathroom. Spacey. Only problem is old stale smell of smoke, despite being a "no smoking" room.

This hotel is incredibly old, worn, and outdated. When you enter the registration area of the property, it is a flashback to the 80s. When you enter your room, it is a throwback to the late 70s. All the room amenities are old and outdated. There is a fee for internet, no breakfast, and the overall hotel needs a lot of work.

Excellent stay: very clean, in the middle of shopping area. Excellent rates.

Clean and simple. You have to ask for shampoo and hairdryer, and there is nobody on the desk at night, but it's a good deal if you don't worry about such cost saving measures.

My daughter & I were looking for a nice hotel for one night at a decent rate. It was in a nice area, close to stores and just minutes away from downtown Grand Rapids. Had a nice little kitchen which we didn't need but would use in the future. Room was clean. Would definitely stay again.

We arrived at the hotel approximately 12:30 a.m. and the front desk was closed off with a note saying to use the lobby phone to contact an employee to check in. The gentleman that helped us seemed very uncertain about what he was doing, and couldn't find our reservations, had us write down the confirmation number and last name of the reservation while […] handing me a key to the room. The first room we tried already had a guest staying in the room and thankfully they had the door jam latched so we were unable to walk completely into the room! We went back to the lobby and had to call for an employee again and once again had to try and find an available room. The room we end up with was not the same type of room that we originally had reservations for. We reserved a non-smoking queen room and ended up with a room that had two doubles and smelled of smoke and was not very clean (black spots on the floor, dirty coffeemaker, and water damage in the shower). By that time we were both too tired to contact the same employee again and went to bed. The following morning, we unfortunately neglected to pack shampoo and went to the front desk to inquire if the hotel happened to have any. Being greeted by an unfriendly employee with an attitude to match, we were informed that this location does not participate in amenities for their guests. By that point we just wanted to check out and not return to this hotel. 더 보기

Nothing fancy about this hotel. Found the rooms to be basic and clean - certainly, this isn't like staying at a 4 or 5 star hotel, but I found it was a good basic room that seemed to fit the need. One thing that is nice, is that this hotel is located in a quiet area and far enough from the highway and any major roadways.

Clean and spare. No hairdryer in the room but cheerfully supplied on request for the duration of our stay, along with extra pillows. Perfectly serviceable place, just off the strip and away from traffic but with plenty of food options just a block away.

The room was so bad we immediately checked out and sought other accommodations. Dirt in the sheets and rips in the towels . . . My son had to ask if he should sleep with all his clothes on it was so bad - do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!

I would never stay at one of your hotels again. I booked a room with a king bed, got there and was told that there were none. I have never encountered someone as rude as what your staff behind the counter was. I have traveled all over the US and have never had such a terrible experience. The hotel appeared to be a little out dated, but it served the purpose. I was disappointed that the mirrors weren't clean and we had trouble with the tube being clogged and there were no maintenance employees on duty. Hotel has full kitchens, so if you are staying for an extended period of time, you do not need to spend money in restaurants. Loved the fact that this hotel is close to Schuil Coffee, so you can get a great cup of coffee, beans, etc. Didn't like the pillows.

Decent hotel for the price. The hallway was musty and smelled like smoke, but the room was clean and smelled okay. Not too close to downtown where crime and other elements could creep in.

Our room was clean and on the 1st floor. Nice having a kitchenette with full refrigerator and microwave. Missed having a small bottle of dish soap to do dishes. Also wish they would have a small hairdryer in the bathroom. Overall we had a good experience. We would stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

Staff were not helpful. gave 'attitude" about swapping out wet towels for new ones. Hallway smelled of smoke the entire stay. Trash "room" on the floor was piled up very high and smelled horrible. was told it would be "a couple of days" before the trash was moved. UNACCEPTABLE! NEVER stay at this hotel, horrible.

Very nice, clean room. Check in and out was a breeze. The kitchenette was really nice to have. The bed was a little on the hard side, but not bad for a hotel bed. Overall, very nice experience for the price.

We checked in late and had no problems. Desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our experience was all downhill from there. The room was smelly, dirty and very rundown. No blankets on the bed, just a sheet and a very dirty bedspread that I wouldn't want near me. The vending machines were expensive and wouldn't accept bills. The laundry facilities, […] of which half were out of order, were expensive and had no change machine on site. The lobby and hallways smelled awful and the carpet was so old it was stretched and lay in wrinkled waves down the hallway. It was quite the tableau.
