Nicely accessible to downtown for business except that it's a pain to get into the road initially! You can only go either east on NY Ave (away from downtown) and figure out how to turn around or go north on Bladensburg (again, away from downtown) and figure out how to turn around. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The shuttle service was great and on time. I appreciate all their help whilt visiting the city.

The stay at Fairfield was great. We got on really late, I just wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was very clean , and the halls smelled pleasant. Definitely will return, and recommend a friend.

I stayed only one day with my boyfriend, but we would like to stay more if we have enough time to browse wachington. The hotel was so great with everything though the location is hard to approach without car. I was totally satisfied with the service. Nice breakfast, kind hotel desk and wonderful shuttle bus. I really want to recommend this hotel!

I had a very pleasant stay. The only downside was the charge for parking. I was not aware of the parking fee when I made the reservation. This should be disclosed at the time of reservation.

We had a good state in this hotel . It is clean and confortable. Although the location is not very good, it is close to all the most see sights in the Capital City. It.s price is fair include a complete breakfast. The hotel also offers gym, pool and jacuzzi . I really recommended it for families enjoying short vacation weekend or weekdays.

I was not even sure where this hotel was when I booked it. I was pleasantly surprised that even though it seemed a little ways out of town it was a convenient cab ride to all of the things I was visiting. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was worth the cost (very affordable)-- it was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Loved the complimentary breakfast as well as the free shuttle bus to Union Station. Hotel was fine, staff very nice. The neighborhood was terrible. Two Exxon station mini-marts, a combo Taco Bell/KFC, a Rally's and a McDonalds are your ownly dining choices. Hotel was very nice & new. Room was clean & staff was very helpful. The only complaint is that the A/C was broken on one if the shuttles. It was very uncomfortable to sit in a full van when it was 90+ degrees outside during rush hour. Price was right for the location.

This hotel also provides shuttle to Union station. Only issue I had was with their wireless or wired Internet. It was too slow, even after they directed my call to their Internet sevice provider, nothing could be done.

My stay although short was great. Hotel staff are very courteous and helpful. This was my first time staying in this area and I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you.

This hotel is close to everything. Great price for the comfort!

Stayed there over President's Day weekend. My second time. Very well kept hotel. Clean room. Breakfast is great, better than in the other similar hotels and free. Loved fresh strawberries in syrup with waffles. PARKING FEE IS OVERPRICED - $16 PER NIGHT. I think parking fee must be included in hotel description, which was not the case here. There is […] no street parking by the hotel and the neighborhood is not the best, so had to pay. Police is almost always present at the lobby day or night. When checked-in I've got room on 2nd floor and it smelled weird like a mix of smoke, mold, and cleaning solutions. Called front desk. They offered another room on 3rd floor which was perfectly clean and comfortable, no smell at all. Free Internet both wireless and wired. My kids went to indoor pool: it was not heated, but hot tub was pretty hot though. 더 보기

the hotel was clean and the room was good. i had to wait a long time in line without even being acknowledged by the woman at the desk. there were two people in front of me and the wait was about 20 minutes. the girl was nice, i just think that they are understaffed. they have one person answering the phones and dealing with anyone checking in.

It is most convenient to stay in a hotel that is within walking distance to a metro stop. I was told the Fairfield Inn was when I booked the stay, but it requires a taxi or shuttle bus ride to reach the nearest metro stop at Union Station. This makes the location a little inconvenient and adds transportation cost if you're going into the city. The door to the room jammed and some neighbors in the hallway were asked to help. After numerous tries, it opened. Inside the room, the door to the closet was constantly jamming. Worst of all, there was no cartoon network for my kids. I was disappointed for them and they were disappointed too. The maintenance lady could not fix it and said that the […] channel was blocked. I was very happy to end my day in this atmosphere of peace and relaxation. It was close to my work area and close to everything I needed to end my night. I felt like I had been rescued from sinking sand of stress and tiredness.

Very nice and professional hotel. Received a upgrade for free and the suites are nice. External speakers on TV and a ipod ready stereo and alarm clock. Only drawback, if you looking to sleep in it's not going to happen. Between the traffic noise and the trains really hard to sleep through.

situated right on a main road junction with trucks buses and heavy traffic all night. windows are not good enough. i wont recommend anyone to stay here unless you like to remain awake all night. shuttles are at odd times and irregular service.

250,000 people showed up for this rally so Washington was really filled with a lot of people. We paid 2.5 times what this hotel would have normally charged so we paid 5 star prices for a 3 star hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel itself exceeded all my expectations: Great room, clean, comfortable bed, Wifi & hi-speed internet, comp breakfast, etc. BUT -- the shuttle service is POOR. It is hard to get ANYwhere from this hotel. The free shuttle service to the nearest Metro station (Union St.) runs 20-40 minutes LATE every single time. The D.C. Hotel Rates are outrageous,-- But not this hotel. YOU MUST, MUST ,MUST STAY HERE. The price is right. The People are great and the rooms are 3.8 star. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

Staff was courteous and helpful, whether it was helping to plan our day in the city or just providing an extra blanket. Not much for dining in the local area, but if you plan well, you should be able to eat at Union Station and ride the shuttle back to the hotel.

Outstanding

The hotel clerk had the greatest personality. There are only fast food restaurants close to the hotel, so she was gracious to help me find some restaurants that delivered. Not in the best of neighborhoods though. I did not feel that comfortable leaving the area of the hotel.

Great customer service. Very Clean. Not the closest to downtown cause of traffic.
