베이징 더블 해피니스 호텔 (Beijing Double Happiness Hotel) - 베이징

호텔에 빨리 도착했는데도 호텔에서는 우리에게 방을 주는데 5분밖에 안결렀습니다….무료 음료와 함께…. 접수 직원은 아주 좋았고 친절했습니다 그리고 어디에서 먹고 무엇을 보고 해야할지 환상적인 팁을 주었습니다. 방은 이쁘고 마당은 아주 좋고 다른 투숙객과 친해지는데 좋았습니다. 우리는 이틀동안만 있었지만 누구에게라도 추천하고 다시 가고싶습니다. 제가 호텔을 떠났을때 가족을 떠나는 느낌이었고 접수직원과 벨보이 직원들은 우리에게 손을 흔들어 주었습니다.

우리는 Hutong에 있는 Double Happiness Hotel에 머무르면서 최고의 아시아 여행의 마지막을 보냈습니다. 모두들 너무나 품위있었습니다! 우리의 방은 충분히 컸습니다. 그들이 패밀리방으로 업그레이 시켜줬고 훌륭했습니다. 우리는 방에서 무료인터넷을 했는데 사실 모든방이 이렇습니다. 우리문에 마당이 있었는데 그곳에서 가족시간을 즐기고 계획을 짜는데 시간을 보냈습니다. 문앞으로 가려면 대부분 택시를 타야하는데 그런데 제가 나이가 들고 절뚝거려서 이것때문에 문제가 있었습니다. 아시아 여행의 하이라이트는 만리장성에 간것이었습니다. 언제나 이 기억은 저와 함께할 것입니다. 우리는 Grayline투어를 이용했는데 공항에 […] 데리고와서 만리장성으로 데려다 주었습니다. 우리는 토의했던 바와같이 먼지가 많은 Hutong 길거리에 갔다가 이 조그만한 오아시스에 갔을때 놀랐습니다. 직원은 이쁘고 영어를 잘하며 도움을 줬습니다. 우리가 본 첫번째 방은 담배냄새가 나서 여직원에게 바꿔달라고 했습니다. 방은 중국 골동품으로 채워져있었지만 여전히 컴퓨터 자리가 있었고 냉장고가 캐노피 침대 밑에 숨겨져 있었습니다. 마당은 우리가 다른 손님들과 경험을 나누기에 좋은 장소였습니다. 옥상에도 갈수 있었습니다. 아침식사는 아시아와 서양요리의 혼합이었습니다. 우리는 주변 길거리에 충분히 고를게 있어서 저녁식사와 바에 가보질 않았습니다. 우리는 그들이 추천한 만리장성에 갔는데 상당히 숨이찼습니다. 투어 (가이드와 […] 식사)는 수준이하였습니다. 저에게 머무르는동안 하이라이트는 호텔의 기어가 없는 자전거를 사용하여 제멋대로의 도시를 돌아보는것이었습니다. 우리는 우리친구에게도 당연히 이 호텔을 추천할 것입니다. 더 보기

As previous reviews have said, the hardest point is getting from the airport to the hotel itself as the taxi drivers speak nor read English. We got dropped off in the wrong place and a passing Chinese gentleman who spoke English had to explain to a further taxi driver in Chinese where to take us. The taxi was very cheap from the airport however, only […] 50rmb (£5) for a 30 minute trip. The Hotel is 400 metres down one of the hutongs (alleys) but don't worry as there are no safety issues as the police station is on the same street! Once at he Hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke reasonable English - their only error was later in the week when I requested tickets for an excursion to the Beijing Opera and they got me tickets to a childrens acrobatic show! One tip - exchange your English currency at the hotel not in the UK as they give a much better rate (9.0 rmb in the UK; 9.5 rmb at the hotel at the time). The hotel rooms were cosy and clean with nice bedding. The weather was very cold at the time (Jan) so the air conditioning was greatly appreciated. Not many English channels on the television but for some of the sports channels this did no always matter. For the Metro turn right outside the hotel, go to the end of the Hutong and turn left. Follow the road and you will see McDonalds, the Metro is to the left. It is very easy to use, get a map, and only 2 rmb (20p) for any journey! The signs on the metro are in both Chinese and English so easy to understand. You can use the Metro to any of the main tourist attractions (the Forbidden City, lama Temple, Tianamen square etc) apart from the Great Wall which is out of town - we booked an excursion to see the Wall through the hotel for 240 rmb (£24 approx). Lovely breakfasts and coffee at the Double Happiness Hotel but the restaurant is only small and everyone seemed to go around 9-9.30am so go beforehand if possible. When we first got to the hotel I was quite upset. It was in an alley, not conducive to walking around. Once the sun came up and I realized that I was in real life China, I was much happier. It was a five minute walk to the main street. Taxi's were easily available from the hotel desk, the subway was only about a 7 minute walk and once you got there […] it was an easy trip to any of the sights you would want to see. The rooms were were comfortable and quaint. Each room was set off a courtyard and was very much the old chinese architecture it promised to be. The rooms were decorated in period chinese decor. There was a small, homey restaurant bar in the hotel, with very firendly waitresses and bar tender. The reception staff could not have been nicer. If you are looking for a business hotel or a five star hotel this is not the place for you. If you want a cultural experience you could not do better. 더 보기

My mother and I stayed for 5 nights in October and were utterly charmed by the hotel and staff. We were originally given an upstairs room that was small and a little dingy but most importantly, it was hard for my mother to climb the stairs. My family (2 adults + 2 teenagers) spent nearly a week at the Double Happiness in May 2011 and really enjoyed it. The hotung area, alleyway and hotel were so different to anything we've ever stayed in before and helped make our holiday in Beijing very special. The hotel is in a great location, only 10 minutes to the subway which is world class and […] very cheap. It is about 30 minutes walking distance to the Forbidden City and other main sights. The bedrooms have traditional furniture and open onto small courtyards - it's so peaceful and quiet to relax there after a hard day slogging up the Great Wall or the Forbidden City. The staff were real characters, they provided great service with a smile and sense of humour - they were very helpful advising us on local restaurants, ATMs, transport and writing addresses down in Manderin for cab drivers. The breakfast is fairly decent with a wide range of Western and Asian food. We had a fantastic holiday in Beijing and staying in Dong Chong and at the Double Happiness helped make it special. 더 보기

We really enjoyed our stay at Double Happiness. Being in the hutong was fun, and very close to the subway. The beds were extremely comfy. Breakfasts were excellent. The atmosphere was very friendly with a lovely little courtyard. The rooms were lovely - red and gold satin, beautiful wood work. Recommend this place highly.

very nice traditional courtyard house made into a hotel, rooms are cozy and world class facilities. best part is the service. staff is warm and friendly and help you in every way they can. breakfast was good assortment of western and chinese platter. Only negative point i can say is in house restaurant has very limited choices.

This is a fabulous little hotel, albeit perhaps not well known. It is certainly a lovely surprise along an ordinary hutong lane. I had everything I needed and a friendly English speaking staff in a hotel with the ambience of old China. The hotel is located in a narrow hutong (alleyway) in dongcheng district. It is about 1/4 mile from subway so it was convenient for us to go to nearby sites, Silk Market, Temple of Heaven, Tianamen Square and Forbidden City. Located in one of Beijing's old alleys conveniently close to the centre, the Double Happiness hotel has stunningly beautiful courtyard rooms with all the facilities you could want. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. And excellent value.

I was looking for a hotel that would provide more of a cultural experience that the standard western hotel. I spent 4 nights here the end of November 2009. The desk staff all spoke English and were very helpful. The room was small, but beautifully decorated including a huge fan on the wall and bamboo covered walls. Hotellet svarte absolutt til forventningene. Det var et sjarmerende hotell med autentisk kinesisk interiør. Personalet var vennlige, behjelpelige og snakket godt engelsk! Jeg hadde ingenting å si på renhold eller service. Det var ikke spesiellt dyrt, og internett og frokost var inkludert. Frokosten var god og variert. Hotellet lå i umiddelbar nærhet […] av t-banen, og det var lett å ta seg derfra til de fleste severdigheter. Banken lå på vei til banen. Om man er ute etter luksus,er nok kanskje ikke dette hotellet et førstevalg. 酒店基本設備尚算o.k., 例如: 上網, 衛生間用品, 茶水等, 房間仿古造型都數配合四合院風格, 但未夠精緻及家俬擺設比較舊, 而且庭院環境空間不足夠, 未能令人置身於老北京四合院的感覺. 不過, 酒店員工服務質數很好, 主動, 熱諴, 笑容滿臉, 這是我最欣賞的地方.

３泊しましたが、毎日きちんと部屋の掃除がされていて清潔でした。四合院風で部屋もみんな違う造りのようです。それぞれの部屋にはパソコンがあり、インターネットが無料で使えました。 フロントの方々はみなさん英語が堪能で、とても親切で安心でした。 朝食はバイキングスタイルで包子やお粥など中国風のものもありおなかいっぱい食べれます。 ホテル自体は素敵で大満足でした！ こちらに掲載されている地図は全然違います。 地図には東四六条と七条の間になっていますが、 実際には東四四条の通りにあります。 地下鉄「東四」駅より徒歩１０分なのですが、私はこの地図で迷子になり、駅から２時間もかかってしまいました。 みなさんも気をつけて下さい。

中庭のある四合院タイプのホテルで味わいがあり、ホテルでのんびり過ごしたくなる。部屋は同じツインでもいろいろなタイプがあり、少々手狭な部屋と広い部屋があり、どこが当たるかは運次第のようだ。 スタッフはみなフレンドリーで気持ちがよい。また朝食はこじんまりはしているがブッフェスタイルで、中華、洋食の両方がカバーされている。おすすめは当然中華。 各部屋およびロビーに無料インターネットサービスがあるのも嬉しい。無料サービスのミネラルウォーターが部屋に2本付いているが、足りなければフロントで追加を貰える。 車はホテルの前につけるために細い道を入る必要があるので、出先で拾うタクシーの運転手がこのホテルに行くのを嫌がることが多いのが唯一の難点だが、地下鉄駅までは徒歩10分弱なので、さほど不便ではない。

4泊しましたが、常にお掃除担当の方が居ました。 どのスタッフも会うと声をかけてくれて親しみやすかったです。 とにかくすべてのお部屋が素敵で、北京に滞在のときは常宿にして、すべての部屋を制覇したいくらいです。 部屋にパソコンもあるので気軽にネットが出来て満足。 朝食はアメリカ人に合わせた朝食ですね。 おかゆが充実してたら満点です。 ホテルの通りにはお店があって、大きな通りに出なくても飲み物や食事も出来るのであんしんです。 また、絶対泊まりたくなるホテルです。

Das Hotel ist kein Business-Hotel mit Sauna, Pool, fancy Hotelbar usw. Wer das will, muss sich in einem der großen Hotels z.B. an der Wangfujang Street einquartieren (und dort dann einen um das 2- bis 3-fache höheren Zimmerpreis bezahlen). Dafür ist das Double Happiness ein Hotel mit Charakter und Charme, authentisch und liebevoll eingerichtet, mit […] freundlichem, Englisch sprechendem Personal und guter Lage in einem der wenigen noch verblieben Pekinger Hutongs. Beim ersten Besuch nimmt man am Besten ein Taxi, denn auf eigene Faust ist das Hotel nur sehr schwer zu finden. Wenn man sich aber erst einmal orientiert hat, kann man die Stadt in weiterer Folge durchaus auch per U-Bahn erkunden, vom Hotel aus liegt die nächste Station nur 10 Min. entfernt. 더 보기

The hotel is just fantastic for a couple. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is about the size although the sound of bed is a little bit while we are rolling on it with fun. The decoration is full of smell of history just fantastic. The surrounding area is about the same standard in the huge city with quite friendly looking. Certainly, the […] police station is near by. The fried meat is fantastic also. The nearby restaurant is also local with fairly good quality The only problem is the breakfast is not good enough as a standard of Asia. The traffic condition from the airport MRT station to hotel is awful as the taxi drivers are NOT willing to go by meters. This should be damned by the city government. You can book the taxi which is above the average from the hotel to get you to the hotel. As for the hotel, I will definitely come back. If you would like to feel the genuine Chinese atmosphere this is the place for you. It is located in the middle of a hutong (alley) in downtown with very good communications. The buildings are 250 years old and built as a courtyard and this may be the reason why the rooms are very small compared to European standard. Despite the very central location […] it’s an absolute quiet place. After spending the last 5 years travelling and living in different hotels I must say this is one of the best ever. Regarding the staff and their willingness to help and support you can’t find this level in the best 5 star hotels in Europe, it was more like a family atmosphere. When checking in Google earth I could find 2 different hotels with the same name in Beijing so please watch up so you don’t end up in the wrong one. I booked the “grand lit” which probably is the biggest room beside the suites but 2 people could hardly meet. Last night I got a bigger one more spacey, but obviously the same class as before. One very nice thing is that the room had a PC with free internet access but the connection speed was very slow and I was not able to sign in to Yahoo mail as example. You don’t need an adapter for power supply as the outlets both have the Chinese and European standard. The very narrow and half dark alley might be a little scary to some people but it is a very safe place with friendly people and small shops and surrounded by 2 police stations. The area is called Dongsi consisting of 10 different alleys named from 1-10 but in Chinese so if you learn to count in Chinese it’s easy to know where you are, this alley is called Donsi Si Tiao (Dongsi 2:nd street). It can be a little bit tricky to get there by taxi (about 85 Yuan from airport including 10 Yuan in toll) because of the narrow alley, but I strongly recommend the subway as the easiest and fastest communication as the traffic is crazy with 5 million cars and countless bikers and scoter drivers apparently without traffic rules. スタッフの方々がとてもフレンドリーで 快適な滞在ができるホテルでした 四合院は北京の古都の情緒が楽しめました NHKも含めて日本のTVが入らなかったので 日本の情報はネットからになりましたが 部屋に無料PCがあり問題ありませんでした 無料の無線LANもあるのでPCを持ち込めば更に快適だと思います Hotels.comのメールについていた地図上のポイントが間違っていてかなり迷いました もう少し調べて情報の精度を上げてからいくべきでした 住所の情報は正しいです（東四　四条　37） 地下鉄の最寄り駅は東四駅になります

Ett lite äldre hotell centralt beläget som ger en väldigt genuin kinesisk känsla. Första intrycket, trång, lite trist bakgata försvinner helt av mottagandet när man kommer in i hotellet. Ett vänligt bemötande och hjälpsamhet av personalen på hotellet under hela vistelsen. Visst kan man exteriört och på innergårdarna liksom terassen märka visst slitage, […] men det är rent och vilken atmosfär! Rummen är mysiga och känns väldigt kinesiska i sin utformning och möblering men innehåller allt som man kan tänkas behöva. Städningen var exemplarisk. Frukost buff'én även den väldigt kinesisk och god men innehöll ändå yoghurt, cornflakes, stekt ägg, bacon och korv, färsk frukt ,rostat bröd mm så även en "kräsen" västerlänning överlever utan problem. Kaffet var dock svagt , så vi köpte nescafe och blandade i till lagom styrka. Med en guidebok eller karta med kinsesiska benämningar på sevärdheter är det inget problem att åka taxi, vilket är väldigt billigt. De flesta sevärdheterna ligger inom en 15-20 min resväg från hotellet. Hotellpersonalen hjälper också till och skriver upp adresser och meddelanden att visa för taxichaufförer. Glöm inte visitkortet från hotellet när du åker ut på stan att visa upp när du vill åter till hotellet. Enklaste sättet att ta taxi är att gå ut på huvudgatorna i vardera änden av hotellgatan och sträcka upp handen och visa vart man vill åka. Efter en dag ute i staden är det skönt att njuta av lugnet på bakgården eller på terassen. Även "trist bakgata" måste jag omvädera efter att ha promenerat den ett par gånger. Den har det mesta, specerivaror, tobak, frisör, cykelreparatör, flera matställen. Mysigt hotell med stark atmosfär. Det enda minuset var restaurangen som inte rikigt håller. Jag uppskattade särskillt den historiska miljön och lugnet.
