유니버셜 근처의 야경을 만끽할려면 호텔 상위층에 배정받아야....... 호텔주변에 유니버셜시티인지라 음식점도 한정되어있고 저녁에 금방 문을닫는관계로 편의점만 붐빔. 장기투숙시 교통의 불편함이 다소 있음. 연장 투숙은 높은 숙박비가 부과 되며 요금부과등 전반적 설명 부족, 강력비추

아이와 함께 하는 여행이라 동선이 중요하여 usj와 가까운 곳으로 하려고 했습니다만. 생각보다 조금은 떨어져 있었습니다. 물론 호텔 정문에서 나와서 큰길을 따라 조금만 걸으면 usj정문과 연결되는 계단이 있었으나 조금은 떨어져 있는 느낌이..추운데 걸어가려니 조금 더 근처로 잡을 껄 싶더라구요. 그래도 깔끔하고 친절한 서비스에 아늑한 호텔이였습니다. 가격도 너무나 착하게 이용해서 강추입니다.

USJ방문의 최적위치였습니다. 체크아웃한 날에도 짐을 맡겨둘수있어서 실컷놀고 짐을 찾아서 이동가능했습니다. 로비의 인터넷가능한 PC에는 느긋한 중국분들이 차지하고 있어서 사용은 힘들었습니다. 야경이 아주 이쁜 곳이었습니다.

일본 여행을 다녀보면 많이들 느끼겠지만 대부분이 좁은 편이죠? 유니버셜 포트 호텔은 일본 호텔답지 않게 넓더라구요... 가족들이랑 가서 4인실 사용했습니다! 저렴한 가격에 잘 이용했구요. 조식도 깔끔하고 괜찮았습니다. 단, 한가지 불편한 점은 JR만 다니는 곳에 위치해있어 JR로 환승해야 한다는 것이었죠.. 저희는 쓰롯pass를 이용하고 있었기에 3박4일 동안 추가로 JR 1인당 편도 160엔씩 더 들어서 많이 아쉬웠습니다^^ 하지만 그만큼 호텔을 저렴하게 얻어 잘 이용하고 지내다 왔습니다. 이점만 괜찮다면 전 강추!!!

유니버셜 스튜디오 재팬 가족여행으로 정말 좋은 호텔이네요. 가격대비 방도 넓고, 모든 일용품들도 갖추어져 있어서 좋았습니다. 전망도 좋고, USJ 바로 앞이라 정말 편리하더군요.

유니버셜시티역에서 300미터 떨어져 있음. 그리고 USJ바로 앞에 있음. 오사카 난바나 우메다역에서 아주 가까운 니시쿠조역에서 환성하여 JR두정거장이니 위치도 우수함. 넓고 깨끗하며 아침 조식도 아주 우수함. 지하철을 잠시 타고 불편함(?)을 감수한다면 좁은 난바나 우메다 비즈니스 호텔보다 포트호텔에 오사카와 나라 쿄토 코베 여행을 하는 것이 아주 우수하다고 생각함. 약점은 저녁에 간단한 음료 및 간식을 살 가게가 JR씨티역 근처에 조금 있다는 것이 약점임. 1000엔 정도로 식대를 생각한다면 시티역 근처서 해결이 가능함. 씨티역앞 상가에 스타벅스와 편의점 로손이 있음.

유니버설 스튜디오를 방문하려는 사람에게는 최고의 호텔임. 유니버설 스튜디오를 방문하려는 좀 더 비싼 호텔에 비해서 거리가 결코 떨어져 있지 않음. 스튜디오 입구까지 소비시간은 다른 호텔과 비슷함. 역에서의 거리는 다른 호텔은 1-3분 정도인 반면, 여기는 3-5분 정도 소요. 스튜디오 입구 정면 쪽에 다른 호텔이 있다면 여기는 스튜디오 입구 옆 쪽에 있다고 생각하면 됨. 따라서 다른 호텔의 경우 사람이 많고 혼잡한 반면, 여기는 한적하게 쉴 수 있는게 최고의 장점. 스튜디오까지 넉넉잡고 5분 소요. 호텔도 매우 청결하고, 가격도 저렴함. 간사이, 오사카 여행이 4번째 이지만, 다른 어떤 곳보다도 좋음. 다음번에 여행을 하면 […] 유니버설 스튜디오에 방문하지 않더라도 이 호텔에서 쉬고 싶음. 단지 역의 위치가 JR밖에 다니지 않기 때문에, 간사이 쓰루패스를 이용할 경우 기본료 정도의 JR요금이 필요함. 유니버설 스튜디오에 방문하려는 사람에게는 가격, 편의성 모두 최고. 간사이 지역 모두를 여행하기에는 위치를 생각하면 시간상에서 조금 손해이지만, JR이 늦게까지 운행하는 것을 고려하면 그것도 만회할수 있음. 편안히 쉬기에는 최고의 호텔임.호텔 뒤 출구에서 바로 텐포잔으로 가는 배가 있음.(10분 소요) 더 보기

호텔예약을 한 주 간격으로 2박을 예약했는데, 같은 호텔닷컴과 같은 룸임에도 그새 할인율이 떨어져 약 6만원 정도의 금액차이가 있었다. 예약은 빨리 하는 것이 낫고, 특히 이 호텔은 룸이 많은 관계로 할인율이 크므로 이를 이용하는 것이 좋을 것 같다. 호텔의 사이즈는 크지만, 룸의 확보와 가족용으로 특화시켜놓은 관계로 매우 룸이 작습니다. 금액대비 아주 만족할 수준은 아님

유니버설스튜디오 역에서 도보로 5분거리인 호텔. 근처의 다른 호텔에 비해 약간은 유니버설스튜디오 및 중심상가에서 떨어진 위치지만, 이정도 수고는 감수할만함. 직원 친절했고, 호텔도 청결 함. 아쉬운 점은 호텔닷컴을 통해 예약 시 왜 조식권 구매가 안될까? 하는 점임. 언급했듯이 중심상가에서 떨어져 있고, 여행의 특성 상 아침식사는 호텔뷔페가 제격인데 말임. 이틀연속 조식 및 유니버설관광 후 저녁 및 야식을 호텔에서 1%의 할인도 없이 식사함.

전체적으로 이번 호텔 초이스는 훌륭했다고 생각한다. 오사카 시내 관광과 고베관광을 준비했었는데 숙소가 유니버셜 근처라 불편하지 않을까 생각했지만 전혀 불편함을 느낄수가 없었다. 다른분들이 불편하다고 올린 후기의 이유가 어떤건지 전혀 모르겠다는 말이다. 적극 추천하고 싶은 호텔중에 하나이다. 물론 시내의 호텔을 잡으면 편하겠지만 이곳의 장점은 조용함 과 편안함 그리고 멋진 풍경은 아니지만 오션뷰 와 맛있는 조식식사 조식식사 또한 훌륭하다 어떤이는 먹을것이 별로 없다고 했는만 내가 직접 먹어보고 느낀점은 조식 또한 괜찮다는점^^ 적극 추천 합니다 유니버셜포트호텔

일본내 호텔예약사이트 자란넷에서도 가장 인기있고 선호도가 높다고 해서 나름 기대를 했었는데 평범했어요. 가보시면 알겠지만 멋진 로비나 겉모습은 사진빨이고 객실은 평범합니다. 타 일본의 호텔들 보다 넓다는 것 빼고는 좋은 호텔이라는 느낌은없었어요. 블로그들에서 맛있다고 칭잔이 자자했던 조식 부페는 정말 좋게 말해서 소박했어요. 유니버셜 스튜디오에서 아이들과 폐장할때까지 놀고 나서 지쳤을때 거리가 가깝고 객실이 넓어서 아이들이 편히 잘 수 있다는 게 장점이지만 제 값 다 주고 가기엔 아까워요. 어린아이 있는 4인가족이라면 반값 할인에 조식 없는 가격이 적당하다고 생각합니다.

우선 호텔시설은 매우만족을 한다. 단, 영어가 잘 안통한다는 단점과 오사카 공항에서 약 1시간 버스를 타야하는 단점만 빼면 매우 만족하고 재미있었다.

위치 자체가 오사카 시내와는 조금 거리가 있고 노선이 하나뿐인 유니버설 시티역이라 시내 여행을 위해선 항상 니시쿠조역에서 갈아타야 한다는 점이 유일한 단점이었습니다. 유니버설 시티역에서 도보로 3분정도로 매우 가까워서 그렇게 큰 불편함을 느끼지도 못했고요. 그 외의 서비스, 시설, 전망까지 정말 최고였습니다. 오사카 여행에서의 행복한 추억을 갖게 해줬습니다.

This hotel is very close to Universal Studios park, the restaurant complex at Universal City, and is a short boat trip from Osaka Aquarium. This makes it perfect for travelers with children. It is also close to a JR train station for local trains, making it convenient for travel in the Kansai area, especially if you have a JR rail pass. It is worth noting for Westerners that the breakfast buffet is focused on japanese food, and that the beds and cushions are rather hard (a common feature in Japanese hotels). We like our stay in Universal Port during our recent trip to Universal Studio in Osaka, Japan in March 2012. Their check-in & out counters are efficient as they are separated. Our corner room had 4 beds so 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) slept well with pillows (mixed with sort of beans which made the pillows comfortably firm). The kids liked the automatic […] sensor for the toilet lid. Glad there were english translation on the toilet buttons too. They replenish toilleteries daily. Luckily we didn't take breakfast at the hotel coz there's long queue. Plenty restaurants, incl. McDonald, surrounding the hotel nearby Universal Studio. If your main stay is to go to Universal Studio, this is the best choice since the location is rather remote from city or other points of interest. Universal City Station is about 10 minute walk. The receptionist can also help call for a taxi in less than 5 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no direct bus shuttle from Kansai Airport to hotel, instead the airport bus stops at Universal City station. At our departure, we had to take a cab to nearest Hyatt Hotel to get into airport bus to Kansai Airport. 더 보기

Stay there for 5 nights. Everything is good except no wi-fi connection. Still, highly recommended, especially for foreigner.

This hotel was amazing, the room was fantastic and even though my japanese is really bad, this was not an issue. Close to universal citywalk which has a fair amount of shops in it, and the universal studio is a short walk. Taking the JR lines to the hotel is pretty easy, once you get the hang of jumping lines. The Universal Port Hotel is very conveniently located across the road from the Osaka Universal Studios if that's where you want to be near to. The Osaka Loop Line (train station) is also right across the street and several restaurants and a couple of shops and drugstores are on the same arcade. Aside from these, though, one would have to take the train […] into the city itself for other destinations. The hotel is big and family oriented as a resort hotel typically is. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch buffets at very reasonable prices, i.e., 1600yen for a lunch buffet compared to the expensive and limited choices in the theme park. Hotel rooms are clean and have all the amenities one needs; room size is quite big specially the bathroom/shower/ toilet/vanity area (separate into three). Staff service is okay with limited English spoken. Mandarin Chinese is spoken by some staff. What disturbed me and my stay was that the hotel still allows smoking on many floors and I couldn't sleep despite the quiet and comfy bed due to the pervading smell of cigarette smoke residue in the sheets and room upholstery. So, if you are really used to smoke-free air, be sure to ask for a non-smoking floor. Actually, I did that in my reservation but didn't get assigned to one as I saw an ashtray in the room. 더 보기

The Universal Port Hotel in osaka is located just across Universal Studio and also beside a jetty, which makes it very convenient to visit sites across the river - osaka aquarium and the ferries wheel ! Spacious room and good service but a bit far than the other universal official hotels, about 10 minutes walk to the park entrance. Valuable breakfast. Very suitable for family with young children.

Only stayed a night but it was fantastic. Very child friendly (we were in a quad room - very large, step for kids to use in bathroom, fish sponges, good play room on level 2 etc). Easy to get to hotel from Osaka International Airport. Very close to train station, shops also Universal City . But No ATM service for international credit card at hotel or near by hotel areas. If you are going to Universal Studios then I can highly recommend this hotel as it's an easy walk to the studios and the hotel was great.

As soon as you exit train station, you take a left down a walkway (in front of Starbucks) and you will immediately see hotel. Rooms were very large (not what you normally see in Japan), clean, and the bathroom (Wow!). And our view from the room was beautiful! The only thing we did not like were the hard beds/pillows. This is a very nice hotel. The room I had was huge and the bathroom was lovely - a nice big tub and walk-in shower area. The only issue I had was that the hotel is right next to the Universal Studios property, which means it's ill-served by Osaka public transit. To get anywhere in the city you have to take the JR trains into the city and transfer - […] not that big of a deal, but a little annoying. There weren't any little restaurants or shops nearby to walk around in, only the shops associated with Universal Studios. If you're making multiple trips to the amusement park, it's very convenient; if you want to walk around the rest of the city, a better starting place would be a hotel near Umeda or Namba station. 더 보기

We do not usually stay in hotels, we prefer hostels; however, this hotel had a great deal and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was really comfy, with a safe and fridge and the bathroom was spectacular! We liked the theme of the hotel The only drawback was the location re getting to the aquarium (expensive by boat and the boat did not run frequently) […] and we ended up taking the trains to the airport as the bus did not start early enough for us (needed to be at the airport for 8:30am). The trains were easy enough as we do this kind of travel, but for most 4 star hotel goers I should think this would not be a great option ( needed 3 different trains). 더 보기

We recently stayed here with a 3 yr old & a 1 yr old and had a fantastic time. Really close to universal studios which was really fun (it didn't matter it was all in japanese)- the light show at the end is magical! The hotel is really clean, really helpful staff and the rex cafe is easy and relatively cheap option for breakfast. To get into Osaka is […] a quick subway ride (often have to catch two on the way home but we managed this no problems with a pram and baby). If you are visting Universal studios this location is great. The hotel is really fancy from the elevator to the rooms! It is slightly far out from the main shopping areas in Osaka, but only like 15 min train ride. Have fun and I would come back again!

The room is very nice, clean and comfortable. We, especially our kids, are appriciated to stay here. Locatiion is best because we can visit Universal Studio and the Aquarium during our stay in a short time.
