Flew down to Jax for a wedding. Decided to stay on the Beach. I had a King Oceanfront, put My Mom and sister in an Queen double Oceanfront. Location is perfect, loved sitting with family around the fire pit at night. The rooms and beds quite comfortable. View from balcony fantastic! Only thing missing was room service. Can't wait to come back.

Front Desk people were worthless. They overbilled my account after they locked me out of my room because they did not understand Hotel.com had already paid for the 3 nights. It was not worth the hassell

This is a great hotel if you want to be right on the beach. You do have to rent beach chairs though. The breakfast was very good and the little convenience store was great for drinks and snacks. The quality of the service is excellent. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

A decent hotel on the beach but there are many better bargains out there. A very noisy place. Got woken up at 7am by slamming doors. Apparently if you have one of the nicer rooms, the wind forces the doors shut at a very high speed and wakes everyone up. Definitely wouldn't stay there again, but I can't say it was an awful experience. Also, the pool […] location was poorly chosen. The shadow of the building shows up around 2pm so if you're lounging about, plan on leaving since it gets a bit chilly. 더 보기

We were very pleased with our stay during a spring break week! My husband was in Jax for business and I went along for R& R. I was pleased with the friendly and helpful staff. The pool was clean and pleasant. The view from the 4th floor was perfect. The hotel kept a supply of old water and pool towels in the lobby. The clientele all seemed to be quality […] people. And I felt totally safe throughout the day, despite being by myself. Walking on the beach was ideal if you headed north because there were only private homes on this end. We ate at super seafood places such as: Salt Life Seafood Shack Slider's Strickland 's (on the St. John River) The Fish Company My only negative comment is that on the Sunday we arrived the beach was crowded with a real redneck crowd. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, was easy to find and our room was clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for a three night weekend. On the beach, walking distance to the local sights, I was please with the staff and the comfort of the room. Facility was in decent repair, not sparkling clean, but good enough so you didn't worry about what you might see or catch. Breakfast bar was good food albeit a little pricey . Hotel was excellent. The only problem we had is phone wouldn't work. Room very quiet and motel very clean.

We were disapointed with having no contininal Breakfast, the rooms were expensive enough, also it really makes it so convient to eat at the Motel rather than leaving and finding somewhere else to eat. We really would have to get ready for another day to come and eat breakfast when with a contininal breakfast we could have taken it to the room or eat […] outside with no fuss. Our stay was great. Great Hotel, very clean, very beautiful view of the beach, love the bar near the pool and inside. I would highly recommend this hotel. I would suggest to avoid Chicago Pizza we ate there the first night and all of us got sick. I got the short end of the stick and ended up in the hospital for 2 days with severe food poisoning. It was a bacterial infection […] which means that someone didn't wash their hands after using the bathroom, someone mishandled the food, let the food spoil before serving it or it got contaminated between the shipping truck and the restaurant. The first one is the most disgusting and it is a trashy pizza/bar place so I'm more inclined to believe that situation. Just eat in the hotel or the local food places the concierge recommends. 더 보기

Wonderful place, I think it was one of the cleanest places ever! The beds were so comfortable.....I even looked under the sheets to find the namebrand...! Would return without hesitation

I found all your Staff very friendly and helpful. They were truly customer oriented. Also the rooms were very clean and the morning Buffett was excellent. Overall I give your Hotel a A+. Good job guy's.

Although there was a mix-up with our room, and we only had a side view of the beach, the overall experience was pretty good. Nice hotel.

The hotel was great, beautiful beach, (chair and umbrella rental $10+) pool is small but plenty of chairs and a bar to be comfortable. Morning breakfast is pricey, but that's a standard in hotels I suppose, so take a walk or drive to the local places. Surrounding neighborhood was great, lots of bars and restaurants in walking distance on 1st St and […] the main drag of 3rd Street and a short drive to local clubs, try the Whiskey Bar, lots of fun! Eat at Bahama Breeze, delish! The hotel staff was very nice and friendly, the beds are very firm but comfortable. Hotel staff held my bags after check out. Free parking and use of sister hotel, Fairfield Inn across street very good.Overall no complaints! 더 보기

This hotel was very clean and had a great view of the ocean. Was a great place to stay and I would stay again next time.

For the price I paid for this hotel, the Heater was very noisy. It was so loud that when it kicked on during the night it would wake you up. When I told the lady at the front desk about it Sunday morning when I was checking out she said I should have complained earlier and basicly made me the customer out to be at fault instead of apologizing and sending […] someone to fix the the heater and maybe taking the initiative to earn my loyalty to come back to that hotel again; instead she made me feel like a criminal trying to get something for free and shrugged my noisy rattling squeaking heater complaint off and put the blame on me. I stay in hotels at Jacksonville Beach 3-4 times a year and next time I will go back to the Best Western that is closer to the pier and restaraunt district and every room has an ocean view. The desk agent also informed me that all reservations made through expedia, hotels.com or any other online reservation besides Marriott.com get the city and rooftop view rooms but never oceanview rooms. The Best Western will let you get an ocean view room even if you booked through another site besides thier own proprietary site, and they are slightly less expensive than the Marriott. I was not very satisfied at all and seriously doubt I will stay at that particular Marriott hotel again. 더 보기

The hotel is in very nice shape, the room was clean. The beach was very clean. We didn't use the pool, but it appeared to be in good shape when we walked by it on the way to the beach, it was a little small also. The AC in the room was very noisy when it started up, so much so that we gave up trying to sleep and left before sunrise. It worked and kept […] the room cool, but it rattled a lot. If you can stand a lot of banging metal sounds, then it shouldn't bother you. Being a light sleeper, found it too noisy to use. It did not have a way to turn the blower on all the time and the AC compressor as needed, which probably would have helped cut out the noise. There are about 3 computers in the lobby with internet access. The in room internet was OK, but it would be hard to use it for working due to the lag. Also, Verizon cell service is spotty inside the hotel, but that's not the hotels fault. I mention it only because if you are here on business and you need good cell service, you might miss a few calls. The hotel was within 1 mile of several restaurants, but most are not kid friendly, so you'll need to go about 3-5 miles to find a family place to eat, if you have little ones. I would still stay here again, but bring ear plugs. I wouldn't pay for the breakfast option and I would ask for a room at least level 3 or higher. The check in staff acted like they were doing us a favor by checking us in, an attitude I didn't appreciate. The check out staff were, however, very nice and helpful. I give this a 3 out of 5 because of the check in staff and the noisy AC. 더 보기

Marriott Courtyard Oceanfront was clean with fairly large rooms. $10 breakfast buffet had a large assortment of food, including and omelet chef. We enjoyed the poolside bar. Beach was right outside the hotel and easily accessible. Free internet service was definitely a plus. My only complaint was that the air-conditioner in the room did not keep a consitent […] temperature. The hotel was a very good bargain to be right on the beach. Access to the beach and the beach location were grreat - with a rental company for chairs, boogie boards, etc. right on the beach by the hotel - very convenient. Hotel employees were very courteous and helpful -- I had some small ants in my room the first night and mentioned to the front desk […] - they took care of it immediately and no problem after that - left a note in the room that they had sprayed so I would know. The lobby and elevator floors were a 'marble' like material - which was a bit slippery as people walked in from the pool/beach - but someone was mopping a lot of the time. My only complaint was that there was a large group of people together at the hotel and they spend their time in the pool drinking. The pool rules specifically stated no food/drinks in the pool - but the hotel did not enforce this. So, not a great experience for families with all the drunks in the pool! 더 보기

Nothing special - Amelia Island Plantation, 20-30 min North was 40 dollars more a night, but worth several hundred in my opinion. This was basically a Super 8, while the plantation was an oceanview room with separated sleeping/living/dining rooms with a full kitchen. I would not stay here again unless the price dropped dramatically.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. The Flatscreens were nice and the room very clean.

This hotel was very nice. The rooom was clean, and the beds were realtively comfortable. But plenty of pillows on the beds. However our room was suppose to have an Ocean view but the only way we could see the ocean is if we went on the balcony and looked over the buliding that was kinda next to us.

Great location right at the beach. Only drawback was the music from the pool. Liked the music but when at the ocean, prefer to hear the ocean.

It rained more on our trip than we would have hoped but the staff provided us with kid friendly board games to help pass the rainy time. They also recommended a great pizza place and provided us with menus. There was a special outside event booked in the bar/lounge each night of our stay so we didn't get to use these facilities.
