TOO LITTLE FOR TOO MUCH.

I was really impressed by the quality of service at Suncadia--everyone was so eager to please us! Lots of smiling faces and the staff remembered us through our whole stay (which was only 2 nights). The rooms were immaculate and very large. We had a basic room in the lodge and were so impressed by the quality appliances in the kitchen and by how well-stocked […] it was. The grounds are lovely, and well-groomed, yet still natural, and it really is breathtaking. The weakest aspect of the trip by far was the dining. The restaurant Portals, was the only place open on the grounds one of the nights, and it was quite mediocre. A few things were under-seasoned and somehow, the resort had NO vanilla ice cream--how does that happen?? We also had a very poor tiramisu that was crunchy! Overall, we still had a great trip, but in the future, I would probably rent a house/condo with other families and cook, limiting the need to dine at the restaurant... at least until they improve the menu! 더 보기

not far from Seattle/Eastside and yet feels like you are far away on vacation. Lovely grounds, high quality rooms with amazingly comfortable beds, and a nice variety of activities (water slide, inside and outside pools and hot tubs, walking trails, bikes, paddle boats, fishing) to keep families busy but active and happy. We consider Suncadia our 'vacation […] home' and default weekend getaway. Yes, the staff is young and sometimes a little absent minded, but never rude. 더 보기

Love the location and feel of this hotel. The pools are great and the trials and playgounds are amazing. The bell men were courteous and totally interacted with my 3 year old. But the rest of the service was disappointing. Ordered one of the room service pizzas which is a great idea but they only price them with sodas. As we do not drink soda I wanted […] to know the price without so the girl on the phone told me a price without. I got a call not a min later and her manger told me she misquoted me and I owed them $2 more with a very accusing tone.. really.. you can't just eat the cost. What happened to customer service? Aslo, I ordered take out from the Portals restaurant and they totally botch our order with two hungry children I did not have the time not energy to go back down and complain. I travel a lot for work and I would never have this issue in a NYC or LA hotel. Also, my wife left her dress in the hotel room and when we called to see if by chance they had it in Lost and Found they told they would look and call back.. We never got a call back after I called two more times to check. When I final approached them in person they were very unsympathetic and told me they could not find it. I asked if the service people may have taken it and she said yes! I stayed here once before and loved it and recommend that my friends stay there.. I would like to revoke my recommendation. The only Service issue i had was at the Spa, i wanted to speak real quick to my lady friend who was in the pool area of the Spa and i was told i could not and i mentioned i was a guest there and they said no, i was shocked because of the money we spend there and what she spent for her facial i couldn't understand why i was not allowed to speak with […] her for one minute, it's probably not about money but rules, if that's the case they should look at the situation and lighten up a little bit, but a manager came out and said i could go back and showed me the way, i'm not sure if it was because i was being a little persistant or what, i was not loud or angry just surprised a little bit, but calm, i just didn't think that was a big issue. My friend said she was treated a little rude by the Spa staff as well though the facial and massage she really liked. 더 보기

Nice resort with biking, golf swimming...If you want to shop, get away from the resort....not much around.

This hotel was beautiful and very convenient when coming from Seattle. The kitchen in the Lodge rooms were very nice with high-end appliances and serving untensils. The main bedroom was very comfortable and large and the bathroom was lunxurious. However there were a few concerns. The wind was very loud - causing whistle sounds from the patio doors all […] night long. The front desk confirmed they do get a lot of wind. We paid for an extra guest in the room, but they did not supply extra towels or bathrobe without being prompted. We also had to pay an extra $20 per day for services (I presume pool, etc.) and I would prefer that just be added to the cost of the room than being surprised with an extra $100 at the end. I'm going to try this one more time, because the convenience and ammenties were great. But the cost will be a factor. 더 보기

Overall we enjoyed a great weekend at Suncadia. The lodge was beautiful (we stayed in a one bedroom suite) and the employees provided friendly, prompt service. We enjoyed a fun afternoon at the pool. If we return we will pack snacks/food for the fully equipped kitchen (only thing missing was a wine opener!) to save money on the dining. The restaurant […] at the Lodge was good but so expensive; we'd also explore Roslyn restaurants. We'd also bring bikes (rentals are costly) and tennis racquets (didn't realize the park has tennis courts). And we'd hope for less wind - winds were so strong it was enough to discourage some of the outdoor activities we were excited about. 더 보기
