Hotel is located in Boston's financial district, so this is perhaps why it's a bit quieter on the weekend. We booked a water view room. When we arrived, these rooms were all taken, so they upgraded us to an executive suite. It was wonderful! Huge soaking tub...beautiful upgraded, well-designed bathroom, walk-in closet, separate bedroom located away […] form the hallway (which can be noisy during the night at most hotels, although we didn't hear a sound this time). Clean and comfortable. Room service was fast and polite, housekeeping was great (and accomodated our schedule, as we didn't leave the room till afternoon). Great restaurant/bar in the lobby. Beautifully decorated hotel. And in spite of being a "bit out of the way", we were still able to walk to Quincy Market and the South Station. We booked this hotel for 2 nights before moving on to two nights at the Sheraton (Back Bay) for a business meeting. We couldn't stay at the Sheraton the first two nights due to the significantly higher (non-conference) rates. The Sheraton was a major disappointment after a great stay at the IC! Only issue we had was that, while there were numerous pillows on the king-size bed, all were down and offered inadequate support (would be nice to have a choice). other than that small detail, it was a wonderful stay. 더 보기

Need a big improvement on hotel staffing service. The bell boy who braught me up to my room said its a non- smoking room when i specificallly booked a smoking room. He bluntly said " dont trust the website" what kind of service are we providing when you cant even trust the advertisment on the website itself. The group of men who worked downstairs at […] the garage were all looking at me and my friends in a dirty way till i had to call them out on it and get upset. we are not in a construsction site. The staff later that night was harrassing each persons rooms by telling them to keep the noise down , when we were only talking , for godness sake, the tv was even louder than our voices!! over all it is the worst service provided and i am absolutely dissapopinted. 더 보기

The service my partner and I received surpassed any expectations I had heard about the Hotel. We loved the view of the Harbor and city from our room. It was beautiful and we will stay there the next time we go to Boston.

This hotel is a nice new hotel. Lively bar, decent restaurant and close to Fort Point Channel and downtown. I have two complaints about this hotel and they involve coming and going. The doorman are a dis-interested bunch. Have often pulled up, unloaded my bag and am still looking around for help. Part of the reason maybe is that the valet parking service […] is run by a private service in the garage. I can maybe assume this split reduces tips for doorman. Which leads me to leaving the hotel . . . you must take an elevator down to the parking garage. Invariably their is a big debate about whether you are paying or charging it to your room. Often they have pulled up your car, but it is blocked in. Most recently I was trying to leave around 8:30 am as incoming day parkers were arriving and I had to wait for them to move 5 cars. But other than coming and going, staying here is a good experience. Good sized rooms, baths with tubs and showers, good wireless service (albeit expensive). 더 보기

My wife and I spent Valentines Day here and it was our honeymoon all over again. Beautiful view of the harbor, prefect room, awesome service, elegant lobby, and overall a perfect hotel. One of the best in Boston!

The Intercontinental is just blocks from South Station where you can easily access the Boston T. This will take you to any part of the city. Great to walk to the pier for dinner and into China Town and the Boston garden and commons. Just steps away from the north end as well. Couldn't be a better location. My wife and I went for labor day weekend. Everything about this hotel was excellent. Room, staff, design, safety, everything. We loved it.

The Intercontinental is posh. The staff didn't just greet you, they asked how we were and what we needed. The room was beautiful, luxurious with many comforts. The bathroom is mostly marble with a tub and separate glass shower...very relaxing. Would recommend this to anyone, including families as many were in town for the BC football game versus Northwestern. […] Wish we could have stayed longer as the night we chose was very affordable. 더 보기

Nice location but expensive - not worth the money. Boston is easy to get around in so don't waste your money on this Hotel because it is not that nice! You are paying for location and for that kind of money you can hire a private driver and still be money ahead!

We booked the deluxe king harborview room for our honeymoon. The arrangement was very romantic and the bathroom was amazing with the large shower and large bathtub (both with double shower head options). We travel a lot and have stayed at many hotels. This has been by far the best place ever. Immaculately clean, beautifully appointed, and fabulous location! I would highly recommend it, especially if you travel via Amtrak, Boston South Station is 2 blocks away.

The Intercontinental Boston Hotel is a close walk to most place on the water front and a easy walk to Chinatown or even to the Union Oyster House. A lot to see and a great number of wonderful eats around and in the hotel. I choose this hotel for the convince to get to New England Aquarium along with the Boston Super Duck Tours, which I didn't get to […] go on due to the holiday weekend selling out! Besides that, the hotel is very nice and clean, very friendly staff and valet parking is great. I would stay here again and recommend it to people. 더 보기

We really enjoyed the ambiance at the Intercont. We went to a Bar Mitzvah there and the food was superb, the ballroom had a great view of the water below. Lovely room with great view, nice staff, great bathroom with sliding doors, many amenities we didn't get a chance to enjoy. The stay was marred by a very tough time getting a breakfast to go for our […] early departure from the Miel restaurant. First person who answered the phone had no idea what to do, the second person was chatty and had no sense of urgency even though I told him we were in a hurrry. One would have thought they would have some experience with this. No sense of urgency when I picked up the food, I had to remind them again I was in a hurry, not at all coordinated. We booked through hotels.com and paid for the room in advance. This was not noted on our reservation and we were charged for the full amount. Nice amenities.Excellent Concierge service. Good Restaurant for breakfast and lunch and not overpriced. Parking at $40/day is pricey

I was in Boston for the night before meetings the next day. The Intercontinental was a comfortable hotel with impeccable service, right where I needed to start my meetings the next day. I would choose this hotel as my first choice the next time I go to Boston. I travel a lot, for my job and vacations. This is the first time I've been motivated enough to write a review. Since I know hotel chains don't put much stock in occasional writers, I'll also be posting this on Trip Advisor. I'll be putting in a few more write ups on my other recent stays. You should read on, you owe it to yourself. The hotel is new, […] looks nice for a modern style hotel. Very pretty lobby, nicely decorated common area and restaurants. Too bad the hotel staff didn't know they were in customer service. I paid extra for a "Harbor View" and got a rooftop view. When I tried to call the front desk a switchboard answered. I asked for the front desk, was told sure, just a minute and then I had to listen to a conversation about an iPod, people's choice in music, etc. I finally interrupted the conversation and asked again about speaking to the front desk. A quick transfer and I was talking to the Spa services. Nice... They transferred me to the front desk (the number wasn't in the room or on the phone to call direct to the front desk like most hotels do). A very rude front desk person explained that just past the roof was the water so technically I had a water view room, so no, there wasn't any other rooms available, I had what I was supposed to have! The room itself was terrible. It was designed with an opening between the bathroom and the bedroom, right above the headboard of the bed. The opening had sliding panels with opaque panels, and it didn't completely close off the space. The opening was in direct alignment with the room outside wall windows. I guess someone wanted to be able to watch the roof while seated. The bed was worse than sleeping on granite, and all we could do was think back one week to being at the Fairmont on Battery Wharf. They were fantastic, great customer service. I'll be posting that review on this web site too. This hotel is 2 blocks from the South Station where you can access the T, buses, and trains. The rooms very large and there was complimentary coffee in the lobby early in the morning.

Absolutely love this hotel, service is great, rooms are beautiful and immaculate...downfall is parking cost but it's Boston, what are you going to do? Highly recommend.

the intercontinental boston offered everything we were looking for.

The room we had was uniquely laid out with the bathroom opening into the bedroom for a view of the TV. You could close that opening for privacy and the included breakfast during our stay was one of the best we've ever had. Great quality food and service for the breakfast restaurant.

me and my fiance stayed at the intercontinental for only one night for a special get away and we absolutely loved this hotel. We were coming from out of town and we were a little concerned regarding parking but when we pulled up to the hotel we were greeted kindly by the valet parking attendent. He was extreme helpfull and patient considering we drive […] a wrangler jeep and had to put the soft top up. once in the hotel we were greeted by hotel staff that explained the area to us and also helped was to our room. Our room was Beautiful and very clean. We wished we were able to stay for longer than our one day because the room was great.. the bathroom was amazing. The day we left we had breakfast in one of the resturants. it was stunning. my fiance and i felt so relaxed and cant wait to come back again. i would absolutely return when we come back to the area. 더 보기

This hotel is located across the street from the Bostonian Financial District and within walking distance to the Aquarium and Whale Watching!

Location was easy to find and the room was a nice surprise. It was very roomy for downtown Boston and I enjoyed the layout very much. The breakfast buffet at Miel was wonderful and that's what made our stay really extraordinary. We have been to many hotel breakfast buffets but the quality here was above average. There was not a huge selection but eveything […] that was out was first class. Even though gratuity was included in our breakfast we even tipped extra since our server was very prompt and had a smile. 더 보기

The hotel is new, nice and clean however the service levels were poor especially when the price range is towards the top in the Boston area. The hotel needs to hire more help!

非常好的酒店，但是没有加床！晚上九点半我打电话给前台，前台说转接客服服务，客服服务告诉我加床没有问题。然后我出去参加朋友的生日聚会，但是等到我回来的时候发现没有加床！！！我只能问酒店那两条被子，最后我只能睡地上！！！
