I traveled to Bogota for a year long work assignment and decided to stay in a hotel my first week while I looked for apartments. I chose the Bogota Regency hotel because I was informed that it is located on one of the main roads (Carrera 7), which offers access to many buses (colectivos) and taxis that would drop me closest to my job. I liked the area […] because it is in walking distance from a few supermarkets, a large mall (Hacienda Santa Barbara) and plenty of restaurants. It is also a few minutes in taxi from another huge mall (Unicentro), more restaurants and bars, a gym, hair dressers, spas, etc. The hotel staff was always very helpful, especially when offering to call taxis for me when I needed to get to work in the morning or travel around the city late at night. The hotel is in a safe area of Bogotá and I did not have to deal with street noise. My only problem with the location is that it is a bit outside of the central part of the city and the posh neighborhoods (Chicó, Chapinero Alto, Zona T, Zona Rosa) where I worked and spent my time hanging out with friends. Because Bogota is overrun with traffic during rush hours, getting to the center of the city in bus or taxi from the hotel could take 15-20 minutes more than during normal hours. So, if you are going to stay at the Bogota Regency and you need to travel more than 20 blocks during rush hour, add additional travel time to your schedule. Otherwise, the hotel and their rooms are immaculate, elegant, large and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Bogota. 더 보기

Great staff who are very friendly with excellent english. Although the hotel overall is "tired" in that it needs renovation including new carpet and furniture in the rooms. Each room is spacious and the breakfast is more than adequate.

The walls need to be painted. The cushions of the chairs in the room were dirty.

The hotel needs a renovation. The area is very nice and its like 5 minutes in taxi to Unicentro Mall and some restaurants. Unlike other Bogota Hotels , the security is not that tight. But for a budget traveller it will do the job.I will not be staying there again.

T he service of hotel was good , but with mangement had the worst experience , I live in NY stayed there because i had a surgery done , so had to extend my stay , they didnt cooaporate regarding prices of nights , they didnt care i was temporarly handicap, and that i had already stayed 10 days , so i had to call the 800 number that shows on online reservations […] , and i just found out my cel phone bill that i got charged 200 us dolars for that phone call when its an 800 # which i wouldnt had used to begin with if they would of helped me, not being enough, the last day i asked them if they could keep my lugage for a couple huors after the check out because i had a doctors appointment , he said yes. on my return he has the guts to charge half of a day because of my lugagge, when clearlyI had spoke with him. i got fed up with these people they had no consideration about the days i stayed there or my , health situation . La habitación no tiene ni Aire Condicionado ni calefacción. Por otro lado, sólo hay un restaurante cerca del hotel. No es muy conveniente para alguien que va por trabajo.

El personal del hotel esté más atento a las necesidades de los huespedes

Las habitaciones son buenas sin embargo le falta ambiente al hotel, no tiene ambiente.

Hotel viejo sobre la carrera 7... Se duerme muy mal por el constante ruido de los carros. El baño estaba sucio... El hotel donde uno no tiene que ir!!!

La atencion en todos sus ambientes fue excelente.

Nos gustaría volver pronto a Bogotá y al Hotel Regency como estadía futura. Gracias

Buen hotel, cómodo, buenas instalaciones central para dirigirse en taxi a restaurantes y shopping,costo de los taxi muy barato.

Precios comodos, el personal muy atento y sonriente, siempre dispuestos ha ayudar. Las habitaciones amplias y comodas.... lo recomiendo a todo tipo de huespedes. Ninguna queja en lo absoluto.

ES BUENO SABER QUE PUEDES LLEGAR A UN LUGAR DONDE REALMENTE TE HACEN SENTIR COMODO, ME GUSTO MI ESTANCIA AHI, EN MIPROXIMA VISITA SEGURO QUE ME VOLVERE A HOSPEDAR CON USTEDES, GRACIAS

Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y bien dotadas

Durante mi estadía en el Hotel todo estuvo agradable, tienen una buena atención y servicio, con gusto volvería a hospedarme, saludos

Buen Hotel, Buen Servicio, Buena Ubicaciòn en el Norte de Bogotà Cerca a Usaquèn. Lo Recomiendo Perfectamente y Tiene una Modalidad Nueva. No Se Puede Fumar, algo Excelente en lo què Estoy de Acuerdo, Ya què Tiene una Penalizaciòn de US$50.oo Por Lo Demàs, Buen Desayuno Incluido, Comodo y Confortable. Lo Recomiendo.

Es un hotel en una zona exclusiva, y con muy buena vista, tiene un buen desayuno buffet, porque es muy variado, los cuartos son cómodos y amplios, muy recomendable.

La habitación estuvo muy bien. Pero prenden la caldera a las 4 AM. Si tienes que tomar un vuelo más temprano, sugiero que te duches la noche anterior o lo hagas con agua fría.
