I was very pleased with my stay. Affordable and friendly. Next time I have business in North Chicago, this Hilton will definitely be my choice of hotel again.

Nice place to stay, in general very clean with the exception of a few ants in our room. Very convenient to the Navy base. All employees I interacted with were helpful and pleasant.

We stayed at this hotel for our son's graduation from Basic Training. The hotel was very centrally located, clean, the staff was friendly and moderately priced. I would highly recommend this hotel to any travelers.

Super nice hotel. Everything ,top to bottom, seemed new. The staff was very friendly. Only minor drawback was that you were a few minutes drive to restaurants and stores.

Everyone was very friendly, service was great! Restaurant food was Good, Restaurant Service was Great! Linens were clean & high quality! We loved the mattress! Having two pillows each to choose from was nice! The room was clean & well kept. The bathroom was clean & well kept. We really enjoyed our stay! Clean, comfortable, and plenty of space in the rooms. Exericise room was very nice. Hotel staff was friendly. No restaurants nearby other than the one in the hotel.

Our youngest daughter graduated from the nearby Naval Training Center and we stayed 3 nights to visit with her. We had great service throughout the hotel and the rooms/beds were very comfortable. We will return here many times during the course of her ongoing training. Hilton is our home away from home.

The room was more than comfortable and very clean. Very close to the Navy Training Command base. The hotel staff was amazing. They seen to all our needs. We were there for our son's graduation from Great Lakes Navy Training Command. They were very respectful of all the new military families that were staying there. Telling the new sailors 'Thank you […] for serving. If not for you I would not have my freedom.' I can not put into words what this meant to my family. A lot of money for nothing special, stayed at a Hampton the next night which was just as nice if not nicer for 80 cheaper just down the road in Gurnee.

The hotel was nice but they had kids running in the hallways playig on the elevator. I am not use to all of that. It was a mess it seemed like a daycare center

Spent one night on Christmas Eve. Excellent service and display of employee spirit. Very convenient!

I was very pleasantly surprised at how upscale, comfy and clean this hotel was. Easy access to the interstate. My room was beyond my expectations and the bed was so comfortable I'm going to email the Hilton and ask where they get their mattresses from! This is an excellent hotel for the price, the only problem is, there are no restaurants in the area and the restaurant and community pantry at the hotel is very expensive, over all i had an excellent experience here and would stay here again.

The Hilton Garden Inn is a nice place to stay; similar to all the Hilton Garden Inns across the country. Located just off of the main interstate toll road out of Chicago, it is difficult to miss. One major locational advantage of staying there was it was south of where I was working (Great Lakes) but north of Chicago. Thus I was always traveling opposite […] the "big city", rush-hour traffic (something when considering hotel locations). One disadvantage with the Hilton here is there is no real eating place nearby; there is a Costco across the street, but otherwise you need a car and some patience to find even a fast food place nearby (other then the hotel's food, which, BTW is ok). 더 보기

I arrived late in the evening and was told that the hotel had been overbooked (???). I was asked to go to another hotel that was 20 minutes away! Obviously, I was upset as it was very late and I needed to be at a cancer center early the next morning. I had arrived via paid transportation, which mean't that I would have needed to get a taxi to get to […] the other hotel. Luckily, the Courtyard Marriott next door had a room available. However, they were not booking this room as it had a broken TV and the refridgerator did not work. Since I was in a bind, they gave me that room and extra Marriott rewards points for my inconvenience. 더 보기

Hotel was very easy to get to....right off the major highway and was 22 miles from the airport. Easy check in. offerred $5 for $10 breakfast buffet. Rooms comfortable. Base was an easy 5 mile drive if that. Worked very well for what we needed. The customer service was outstanding and the staff was extremely friendly. When my husband called to see if they could arrange to have flowers or a single rose left in my room--they told him not to worry that they would take care of it....and they did. When I returned from working I was very suprised to find a single rose with a note on my bed!

My husband and I travel often and stay in hotels frequently. The room was very clean and the bathroom was newly renovated. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It was among my top three hotel experiences. Breakfast was a bit pricey, but the room rate itself made up for it.

This is a very nice hotel and I recommend staying there. Clean spacious rooms.

The hotel was very nice...visited because of my son's Navy graduation and it was convenient to that location. Room was very clean and had comfy beds. The only gripe I had was that there was no mention of an additional hold on my debit card for "incidentals" even though I had prepaid for the room on hotels.com. I complained to management and there was […] no solution offered. I could not stay anywhere else because I had a nonrefundable room so I was stuck with the hold on my card with no other alternative. There was no mention of this when booking online. I would have been more upset other than the fact that the motel was simply so nice otherwise that it made up for my complaints. 더 보기

The room was large, well furnished with a bed almost as comfortable as ours at home. Although the building was a few years old, it seemed and felt brand new, so someone there is paying attention to the details of up-keeping! By fay, this was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in quite a while. Others have spoken highly of Hilton hotels, but until you've actually stayed, you really don't know. Close to fabulous restaurants and not too far from Gurnee Mills mall. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the aera.

I initially stayed at the Ramada Inn Waukegan because they advertise how they cater to Navy Recruits Grad families. They hotel was filthy. I was not comfortable. I was so fortunate to be able to check out and spend the rest of my time with my son here at the Hilton. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is fine with very friendly staff. But do not get an even numbered room as the expressway noise is disruptive to sleeping. Bathrooms are a bit small with limited counter space. Otherwise the room is a nice size, has flat screen tv, desk, and is comfortable and well appointed.

Great price in today world when money is tight! an only one is working. Have stayed here before an thought it was worth coming back. Close to family, bed is very comfortable.

Everything about this hotel was great except for the highway noise. The noise was pretty loud most of the day and night, but our room faced the highway and we were on the ground floor so other rooms may not be so bad. This is a lovely hotel but the room they gave us was right next to the interstate and the noise from that made it difficult for us to sleep. Ask for a room on the inside of the hotel!!

I was looking for a location that was convenient to my destination, which was the Navy Bootcamp. What a Great Find. The "Curb Appeal" was great and I was more impressed with the lobby. But it didn't end there. The hotel staff was wonderful. Everyone greeted us. Our room was very nice and relaxing. The xtra large walkin shower was oh so great. The food […] was good also.The only thing I could mustered up a complaint about was the pool. I think to much chemical was used due to the loud smell. 더 보기

Stayed here for a Navy Basic Training graduation and this was the perfect location. Not far from an overwhelming multitude of eating, shopping and entertainment establishments, and only 15 minutes from the Navy base. Definitely recommend this should be your number #1 choice in the area.
