화이트비치와 디몰에서는 멀지만 시간별로 무료셔틀이 있어 불편하지 않았습니다. 직원들이 굉장히 친절하고 리조트 자체가 조용해서 휴식을 목적으로 했던 여행에서는 최적의 숙소였습니다. 객실은 넓은 편이고 전자렌지와 몇가지 필요한 집기류가 구비되어 있어 간단한 음식은 조리해서 먹을 수도 있을것 같네요. 수영장은 원형이라 작아보이지만 실제로 수영해보니 보기보단 넓었습니다. 알타비스타 전용비치인 푸카비치로의 무료셔틀도 예약만 하면 언제든 이용할 수 있어서 화이트비치와는 또 다른 보라카이의 바다를 경험 할 수 있었습니다. 다시 보라카이를 간다면 또 한번 가보고 싶은 만족도 높은 리조트였습니다.

지난 주 필리핀 보라카이에서 박람회가 있어 예약한 호텔입니다. 호텔에서 D Mall까지 가는 셔틀버스가 매 시각 있어 무척 편했으며, 이쁜 수영장과 넓은 객실이 아직까지 기억에 많이 남네요...산 중턱에 위치하고 있지만 앞서 언급한 셔틀버스로 인해 큰 불편이 없어 추천하는 바입니다.

보라카이에서 화이트 비치 바로앞에서 4박을 했고 알타비스타에서 2박을 했습니다. 산꼭대기에 있어서 좋은뷰를 예상하고 갔는데, 생각보다 뷰가 탁트여있지는 않았습니다. 하지만 객실상태나 직원들의 친절함등은 맘에 들었구요 디몰까지 1시간마다 셔틀을 운행해서 이동에 큰불편함은 없었습니다.

보라카이는 올해만 3번째 방문이다 키코스,아샤 1 등에서 투숙해 봤다 알타비스타는 봄맞이 세일을 이용하여 예약했는데 아샤 1에 비해 가격은 절반이나 수영장은 200% 더 아름답고 넓다.객실 내부도 아샤 1과 동등하게 넓고 매우 깨끗하다.퀸베드 2개가 들어가고도 상당히 넓은 방크기를 자랑하고 루프형(복층형)객실도 가지고 있다.복층객실은 1층은 거실과 작은 주방,욕실 2층은 옷장과 금고 퀸베드 2개로 구성되있다.일반 룸에 비해 15%~20%정도 비싼 가격이지만 가족이 같이 오면 사용하기 참 좋은 구조이다. 난 일반룸에 머물고 친구는 루프형에 머물렀다. 방은 정말 크고 깨끗하다. 전망이 매우 좋은 테라스를 모든 방들이 갖고 있는것 […] 같다.3층에만 머물러도 보라카이의 멎진 바다나 골프장을 한눈에 내려다 볼 수 있다. 일반 룸 안에도 욕실(욕조 있음) 간의 주방,전자렌지,커피포트, 옷장, 퀸베드 2개, 발코니 등이 있다. TV는 42인치 pdp tv 라 참 좋다.채널도 다양하고 한국 방송도 나온다.다만 일반 룸에는 개인 금고가 없고 루프형 룸에는 금고가 있다. 욕실 안에는 스프레이형 수도가 따로 있어 외출 했다 돌아왔을 경우 발의 모래를 제거하기에도 매우 편리하다. 주방에는 간의 개수대(씽크대)가 있어 과일 등을 싸 왔을때 세척 하기 좋다.전자렌지도 매우 도움이 된다. 냉장고는 일반적인 호텔용 냉장고 보다 용량이 크며 처음 투숙 했을때에는 비어 있다. 후론트에 부탁하면 음료수당 별도 비용을 받고 채워 준다. 나는 디몰의 버젯 마켓에서 쇼핑해 와서 첫날 가득 채워 놨다. 단 하나의 작은 단점은 디몰 시내나 바닷가와 거리가 있고 호텔 주변에 별다른 시설이 없다는 점인데.. 전혀 불편하지 않다. 1시간 마다 디몰로 가는 무료 셔틀버스가 밤 12시까지 왕복 운행 된다. 또한 푸카비치까지는 도보로 이동 가능하다(약 7~10분정도) 또한 시내와 떨어져 있기 때문에 더욱 조용하고 쾌적하다.바다와 거리가 있으나 대신 정말 멋진 전망과 하늘과 닿은듯한 아름다운 수영장이 있어 별로 문제 되지 않는다. 수영장의 아름다움은 보지않고는 상상하기 힘들다 절벽위에 맞닿은 듯한 뷰를 자랑하는 아름다운 수영장이다. 비치타올도 무료로 빌려 쓸 수 있다. 또한 맛사지 샾을 운영하고 있다.가격은 시내에 비해 조금 비싸지만 그만큼의 퀄리티를 보장한다. 100페소의 차지를 내면 자신의 방에서 맛사지를 받을 수도 있다.아침식사는 노멀하다.이건 보라카이 대부분의 리조트가 그런것 같다. 간단한 볶음요리.소세지나 베이컨,볶음밥과 흰쌀밥,빵 3~4종류,우유,콘후레이트,잼,버터, 쥬스 2종,과일1종,디저트 케익 1종 정도 이다.맛은 보통이다. 아이스 커피가 맛있다 100페소다. 직원들은 매우 친절하다.리조트의 크기는 정말 크다.걸어다니기 힘들 정도이다.난 로비에서 가까운 빌딩에 있는 방에 투숙하여 별로 불편하지 않았지만 멀리있는 동에 투숙하는 사람들은 좀 걸어야 하는 불편함이 있을 듯 하나 산책삼아 걷기에 좋을 만큼 리조트 관리가 잘 되어 있다 450페소를 내면 샌딩 서비스를 제공 받을 수 있다(까티클란 공항) 픽업 서비스도 비슷한 비용을 내면 가능한 것으로 알고 있다.깔리보 공항을 이용하는 사람들에게도 유료로 픽업과 샌딩서비스를 운영하고 있다고 들었다. 나는 호텔닷컴을 이용하여 봄맞이 세일로 예약했기 때문에 44% 나 할인 된 금액으로 5일간 예약해서 이용 했다. 매우 만족하며 내년에도 다시 알타비스타에 머무를 것이다.친구들에게도 추천 할 것이다. 당신도 꼭 가보길 바란다. 보라카이에 있는 리조트들 중 초호화 허니문 리조트를 제외하곤 단연 최고의 리조트라고 말 할 수 있다. 더 보기

3살 1살된 두 딸과 아내와 다녀왔습니다. loft룸에 총 4박을 했습니다. 원래 필리핀의 호텔들이 가격대비 시설이 좋지 않은 데요, 그중에서도 가장 비싼 지역중 하나인 보라카이에서 상대적으로 저렴한 가격에 좋은 숙소를 잡았던것 같습니다. 장점은 직원들이 엄청 친절합니다. 이것저것 물어봤을때 모두 잘 알려주었습니다. 그리고 호텔에서 제공하는 airport sending서비스가 저렴했습니다. 1인당 450p에 가능했고, 두 아이에 대해선 추가비용도 받지 않았습니다. 다른 비치로도 셔틀을 예약해 다닐수 있었습니다. 추가비용이 들지 않았구요. balinghai beach는 조용하게 해수욕즐기기는 좋아보였습니다. 디몰까지는 1시간 […] 간격으로 셔틀서비스가 제공이 됩니다. 대충 15~20분 걸린다고 생각하시면 됩니다. 갈때는 잘 타고 갔는데 올때는 두번정도 트라이시클을 탔습니다. 한대당 100P이하로는 협상이 되지 않았습니다. 단점은 목조구조라서 그런지 개미가 많습니다. 큰놈은 아니구요, 진짜 작은 개미들이 제법 기어다녔습니다. 아이들을 물정도로 크진 않았습니다. 이 호텔을 선택한 가장 큰 이유중에 하나가 kitchenette facillity였는데, 실제로는 수저, 접시, 물병, 냉장고, 전자레인지, 물끓이기 밖에 없었습니다. 실제로 음식을 할 수 있는 냄비나 cooking plate는 없었습니다. 아무래도 화이트비치 까지의 거리가 멀다는 점은 단점입니다만, 저희가 묵었던 가격대에 저희 정도의 시설이라면, 세계 어느 나라에서도 훌륭한 편이었다고 생각됩니다. 다음에 보라카이에 가게 되면 화이트 비치에 머무를 생각이지만, 그 뒤의 방문쯤에는 다시 이용해보고 싶은 숙소입니다. 보라카이의 시끄러운 밤문화를 싫어하시는 분들, 상대적으로 저렴한 가격에 높은 숙소시설을 누리기를 원하시는 분들에게 강추입니다. 더 보기

Alta Vista was OK to GOOD - The staff tried hard, were exceptionally polite, helpful and friendly. On the downside, the lack of structure, order and communication left a lot to be desired - Breakfast was poor, overcrowded and on the whole, uncomfortable. Amazingly there was NO iron in the room. We were told it was due to safety, which we didn't understand. Having said that, for a charge - they ironed our clothes. There is no gym, and the family playroom was almost a bear room with padded walls - The infinity pool and kids pool area is nice, clean and comes with stunning views - as does the whole complex - the views from the top of the mountain are breathtaking. Overall we liked it, though as a family with two small boys and a single granny, we wouldn't go back. Alta-Vista was a step too far up the mountain and if you didn't take the free shuttle bus - we got ripped off by the local motor-bike taxi's. Their standards are lower than the west, yet as we understand it, the hotel is owned jointly by Chinese/Philipines, so it's no surprise to see 4 star reviews which really mean 2-3 in the west (BEWARE if you are a westerner looking for 4 star, this is not it). My wife and I stayed here and had a fantastic time. Room was spacious, clean and had a balcony, which was a plus. Staff were incredibly friendly and the location superb. While it's not right in the heart of the action, that's the appeal. They run regular free shuttles to D'Mall and because you're high up on the mountain with few hotels nearby, you […] have more space and fantastic views from their infinity pool. You also get access to Puka beach, a private beach very nearby, which is much more beautiful than White beach. If you go to Puka, I wouldn't recommend eating at the small restaurant there, however, as we found it to be very dirty. (And we often eat at street vendors and aren't too picky so take my word on this). While the front desk staff were also friendly and tried very hard, it was often more efficient to wait for a regular staff member rather than del with one of the many trainees as they tended not to know the answers to our questions and were a bit disorganized. The food at the restaurant was so-so but we were expecting this based on past reviews and most times ate in D'Mall anyways. Everything was clean and again, the staff were pleasant, but they lacked anything more than basic cooking skills. That said, the free breakfast was great. If you can eat in the outdoor area rather than the restaurant, I'd recommend it as the restaurant was extremely chaotic, while the outdoor area was very tranquil. very nice, convinient for families. its just that our room is not applicable to our elders with us because theres no elevator. And we have just one experience that we feel awkward because one of receptionist send us to go downstairs to have our breakfast wherein we go down and then one told me that we should go up to have our breakfast there. This hotel is one of the better places to stay in Borocay. Good in comfort, price and ammenities. The hot tub was broken only bubbles and no heat. But the breakfast, the room, price, and shuttle made it well worth it. Could improve on the shuttle as sometimes going back was crowded.

Location - very isolated from the main tourist area of Boracay. Minumum 10 min drive (via tricycle or shuttle bus) to Station 2, where you will find everything you need. The hotel does provide a free shuttle once every hour until midnight. Food - horrible! Either super salty or with no flavour at all. Free breakfast is subpar from other 4 star hotels […] I've stayed at. Avoid eating at the hotel if possible. Service - Just alright. Check out is a time consuming process, so give yourself some extra time - we ended up getting delayed by close to 30 min and missed our flight out of Boracay! Hotel Condition - Superb. The views from this place are AMAZING and it feels like you're staying someplace super expensive (which you are compared to other places on Boracay). Room - Had a weird moldy, unused smell that wouldn't go away - and it permeated our belongings as well. Other than that it was good. Had a small kitchenette which was a plus. In my opinion the best resort in Boracay , even if little far from the white beach, the shuttle to there every hour and for free, the staff is very helpful , Sure I would be there again, highly recommended .

A good hotel for a couple of days. No direct access to the beach, but free bus to White Beach and Puka Beach. The bed sheets had sand residue on them. We had no towels or soap checking in. The towels are constantly monitored as you have to check them in and out. Again, I get the logic but is there really a problem with towel theft? There are not enough lounge chairs for guests at the pool, which is very very nice. The room is nice enough. Id say a lot of small problems resulted in an average rating. The location is about a 15 minute ride by tuk tuk to dmall. 20 if the traffic is heavy in the evening. 10 if youre going home after midnight. Be prepared to hike up a steep 200m driveway to the lobby. There is a free shuttle but it only leaves every hour to white beach so you need to work around their schedule. Nearby Puka beach is beautiful so location wise its give and take. By far the worse thing is not having a reliable restaurant. The food is boring, bland, and greasy not to mention expensive for Boracay. Beers 90p, pizza 340p, veg pansit 260p, fruit shakes 180p. etc. ...Also, there is no free wireless in rooms. Only free in the lobby. I think its about 120p per hour or 800 for two days... I got a deal on this website so I dont feel too jaded. Id never pay the full rates for this place. The resort is just 10-15 min ride away from D'Mall (the White Beach). It's the ideal location if you want a piece of quiet after a day of enjoyment. On the last day when we checked out, they charged us for dirtying their pillow cases and it costed us 3000 pesos just for pillow cases. It's ridiculous for a 4star hotel to charge customers for dirty pillow cases, and they are not damaged at all. I bet they can't afford a thorough laundry.
