Unless you desperately need a room close to the airport to catch an early flight don't bother spending time at Grand West Villas (which is the correct name of the hotel). We changed room 2 times because of ants. I woke up one morning because ants was crawling all over my pillow and in my face. Then we changed room. More ants. Then we changed to a […] new room only this one smelled pretty badly of stale Indian curry (I'm serious) And yes, the ants kept coming, just in different places. There's AC in the rooms only the some genius have bolted the remote control to the wall pointing in a direction out of reach from the infra red sensor on the AC unit. So, there's AC only you can't operate it. Clever! In pure anger I almost ripped the remote control of the wall to get it going. I calmed down when I realized that breaking it would cost me money. Bed was hard and there's no lift. Staying at Grant West Villas wasn't the end of the world and a few ant attacks and a smelly room didn't ruin my holiday. But I would definitely never return. Staff was friendly and helpful though and they really did try their best to meet our needs. Problem is the hotel is old and worn out. I guess you get what you pay for. Location is remote. You'll need taxis to get to anywhere. There's a "restaurant' attached to the place. Consists basically of a microwave oven and a freezer. The bloke operating the "restaurant" sold us two cups of coffee. He'd simply put 2 teaspoons of instant coffee into a fairly large teapot and filled it with boiling water and served it with lovely instant milk powder in the provided tea cups! Yes, it was awful. The fruit platter was okay but the omelet was nuked in the micro. Think the term "Cafeteria" would fit a lot better. Again, the bloke was helpful and I'm sure he did the best he could. No bad intentions, just lack of common kitchen knowledge. 더 보기

Great stay at Grand West Villas in Nadi. We stayed there for a friends wedding which was in a nearby town so was good for our purposes. Always easy to get a taxi into town and for transfer to cruises at the Denarau marina. The pool was excellent and the rooms were great for the price you pay. The 2 bedroom villa would comfortably fit a family of six. […] Friendly staff who are always keen for a chat only add to the experience. Would recommend the cheesy chicken dish if looking for something to eat at the villas. Overall, a very comfortable hotel for those looking for a cheap getaway or a few relaxing nights before flying home. 더 보기

Staff is nice and helpful. Cleaning is good. The room is tiny and depressingly dark. No room for two persons to sit even for a cup of tea together. The swimming pool is very good Maintenance of the room is long overdue. Near to beach, we was not deterred by the black tinge of the sand and water assumably tainted by volcanic ash, what is good for you, […] otherwise and clean. 더 보기

Husband, 3 teenage children & I overnighted here in Oct after having 8 days at Plantation Is. and I had been at the Hilton for 6 days prior to that. We were pleasantly surprised at the accommodation as it was much cheaper that anything else for 5 of us during school hols. Although not luxurious it was clean and functional, great to have 3 toilets(we […] had a 2 bedroomed unit) both had ensuites and the other child had a sofa bed in the downstairs living area. The kitchen had the basics, with washing up liquid supplied, the gardens lush and the swimming pool was a reasonable size with a short but very speedy water-slide. we ate dinner there and for approx$15FJ for a main we had a tasty meal. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous and a shuttle was included to the airport the next morning. It is a little out of the way with a large gate and security on the entrance, and there is a little mini-mart 200metres along the road, expensive but convenient. Downside is it backs onto the Bay side of the airport so you do have the aircraft noise. Would be a very handy location if driving. Wouldn't want to base myself there for a long holiday as there certainly isn't the "Fijian" experience to be obtained but we would use the facility again. Apparently not safe to walk to local restaurants at night but taxis to nearby facilities inexpensive. The place was average nothing great! I guess its really what you pay for. When we first got there we were greeted but then after a day it seemed like we were the ones greeting them. The location is literally out in the whooop whooops. its so far away from everything, you need to catch a taxi if you wish to go anywhere becuase its all open grass land. […] Once you walk out the road is not safe to walk in, it's definately not good to walk around at night after 6pm. Service there was very slow. We would call for an extra towel and have to wait half and hr, or half an hour later we would get a call to go downstairs to get the towels ourselves! There was a tour booth there, the lady was nice to begin off with but then when we had advised her that we have arranged our own tours already she was not happy and didn't greet us or even acknowledge us after that. I would only recommend this place to people that are going to stay in fiji for more than a month and have a rental car. Cause rating conveniences.. it is not convenient at all! The pools were ok, we did find loacals in it a few times. Restaurant was good. price was decent and staff was very good. 더 보기

Vi bestilte to netter på nettet, og etter en natt forlenget vi med ytterligere fire. Vi hadde med en 13 mnd gammel jent og hun hadde det fantastisk i svømmebassenget. Personalet var hyggelige. Det store problemet var beliggenheten. Relativt kort vei til strand, men 2-3 km til alt annet. Vi ordnet dette ved å ha leiebil, og da ble alt bare fantastisk. […] Meget gunstig pris i forhold til det man får igjen. Hvorfor betale tre ganger mer i en kjedelig resort? Har ligget på hundrevis av hoteller, men her får man virkelig mye for pengene. 더 보기
