Enjoyed my stay. The hotel need to be renovated, but it's still clean and comfortable enough. Located directly on the beach and boardwalk. Minutes walk to restaurants, bars, etc.

It is on the beach. Other than that it is just ok. The sliding glass door was hard to open, the air conditioner was loud and slightly crustly, there was leftover items that didn't get cleaned up from the last party, the beds were not very comfortable. It is fine for a quick one night stay.

We were disappointed in the free continental breakfast. Very few choices & and they were not very good. No fresh fruit, no cereal--nothing healthy.

but water in the shower was lukewarm and never really heated up

Great location

This is an older facility. If you go into it knowing that you will be very pleased with the location. Both times we stayed there the rooms were nicely updated and clean. We always have found the staff kind and helpful. This is still our overall favorite place to vacation at.

The TV did not work Front desk staff was only occasionally friendly. When we checked out the young woman at the desk did not even acknowledge me. It was astoundingly bad customer service. The location was great.

For my wife and I this was EXACTLY what we wanted. Right on the beach and boardwalk, but close enough to downtown Rehoboth. Breakfast left little to be desired, but who goes to a hotel for breakfast?! For the price it was great!

The hotel is old and showing some signs of wear -ripped carpet, etc. The location -steps from the beach- makes it all worth while. A continental breakfast (coffee, pre-packaged pastries/bagels and juice) is great for those with families or those anxious to get an early start to the beach. Although the hotel is a bit dated, it was clean and the staff was extremely accommodating.

We thought we had booked an oceanview room and were very disappointed to learn that we had not. However the woman at check-in kindly upgraded us to an oceanfront room and it's view was magnificent . Right on the beach and a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. The room was very roomy and the beds very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

When we got there, there were tons of fruit flies in the room, and when we called the front desk and they brought "flying inspect spray" that they wanted to make sure we didn't have any babies with us because it might be harmful to them. After declining the spray, we decided to explore the courtyard, which we could access via our sliding door. We found […] that the latch on the door was broken, and so once we opened it, we couldn't lock it again. Thankfully, they sent a repair person quickly to fix it, but overall, it was not worth it. HOTEL IS JUST ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BOARDWALK FROM THE BEACH. IT'S JUST A SHORT WALK (FEW BLOCKS) FROM THE CENTER OF THE BOARDWALK. WE REALLY ENJOYED IT.

Henlopen was perfect for our weekend getaway. We wanted a hotel right on the beach, and had a comfortable room with a king sized bed. They have extra towels that you can bring with you on the beach, in addition to free parking and free bagels, muffins, poptarts, and fruit bars for breakfast. Overall our stay was plesant. We've stayed here many times. The hotel is getting near to needing a 'face lift' in the near future or comments from everyone will deteriate.

The hotel is in a great location on the boardwalk, but the mattress was very hard and the room was dark. It was also odd to have real keys for room keys.

This hotel is an "ok" experience - service "ok", room "ok", location "ok" when compared with similarly priced hotels in Rehobeth Beach. We would not stay their again unless their rate was lower than other hotels along the Rehoboth Boardwalk.

Complimentary coffee was horrible. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Room was tired, wornout and shabby.

I read every one complaining about this hotel, but they are not paying 5 star prices, so why complain? It is a perfect place to go to sleep at night. The only thing I did not like is the HVAC is noisy, besides that, I love the proximity to the beach, and it is quieter being it is at the far end of the boardwalk.

The rooms are quite adequate in size, ours had a very modest view of the beach but then, all we had to do was walk out of the hotel and we were on the boardwalk and then the beach. This hotel was a great price for being on the boardwalk. It's at the far end but that was ok because we had privacy. There were a couple of drawbacks. One was that there wasn't a pool. Sometimes you don't want to be in the sand all day but still want to swim. Another thing was that you had to pay for internet service. The only thing we were going to use the internet for was for my son's IPod so it wasn't that big of a deal. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, employees were kind, breakfast was nice & well stocked. It wasn't a hot breakfast but we weren't expecting that. We aren't big breakfast eaters so it was perfect for us. We got to the breakfast room each day about 10 minutes before they closed so we thought there wouldn't be anything left, but it was very well stocked. my room was not comfortable. cheap cheap bedding. it was on the beach, and had a nice lobby, but it ended there.

Hotel needs updating; room and hall carpeting. Good location.

I wasn't sure what we were going to get as I've never been to rehobth before, but I was pleasantly suprised. The room was clean and had a view of the water. I really have no complaints and I would definitly stay here again. Its a little down the boardwalk, but gave us a good excuse to walk everyday.

This was our second visit to this hotel. I love the location because we can walk right out to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. They don’t mind if you arrive a little early for check-in. They gave us a parking pass and we spent a few hours on the beach while our room was being readied. I was thrilled when we got to our room – it was practically […] oceanfront! The only minor issue I have ever had is with the noise made by the condominium security gate. Our balcony was directly above the gate, and the gate bangs loudly when it slams shut. My husband didn’t notice it, but I’m sensitive to loud noises. I will probably just bring my ear-plugs next time! 더 보기

The hotel was more than adequate.... nothing fancy. The woman that ran the front desk was very nice. The room was clean. Having just returned from a week at the Charleston Place Hotel, South Carolina, it was a bit of a culture shock but ok. The "breakfast" was all packaged pastries but there is a guy outside on the boardwalk that has some goodies like […] boiled eggs which are great on the beach in the morning. There is a large gay scene on Baltimore avenue that is fun. My wife and I enjoyed going to a couple of bars(no were are not gay). Friendly staff, clean rooms and the location was perfect. Just far enough away from the daily parking area to ensure quiet beach time (the end of Aug, so most kids back in school anyway). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Small bathroom, but it was fine for us. Plenty of dining options within walking distance.

We received the special treat of an ocean front room. The view from the balcony was magnificent, and the room itself was well kept. We liked the convenience of staying on the boardwalk. Since the Henlopen Hotel is located at the end of the boardwalk, the area is a bit quieter, and we were also pleased with that. We would highly recommend this hotel […] to others.
