Nice clean hotel!

Front desk staff was not very efficient Breakfast was mediocre.

My family & I had a great experience at this hotel. We had a total of 4 adults and 3 kids in 2 adjacent rooms, which they assigned us on the end of the 2nd floor over common area space so I didn't have to worry about child noise!! The staff was very courteous and friendly, the hotel was clean and quiet, and they had a coin laundry on site, a must when […] in a hotel for several days with small children! This Hotel was one of the best that I've ever stayed in the Newport news Area. The Room was very clean and the decor was very nice. The beds I have to tell you felt as comfortable as my own at home. The staff was friendly, and very helpful. The hotel is located in great location, near the mall and eateries. The room was clean and well kept.

This is a very nice hotel especially for the rate. The staff was very friendly and helpful as soon as I walked in. The room was nice and clean. I didn't get to use the pool or fitness center this time, but I did look inside. Both were clean and more than what you find at a normal hotel. Excellent accomodations, the decor was above standards, The color scheme continued to the lobby. It was impressive and convenient with coffee shop, lounge and large sitting area The area was conveniently located near shops and restaurants..

The Courtyard by Marriott in Newport News exceeded all of our expectations! Plenty of parking, lovely exterior--both the building and the landscape. Beautiful lobby area, complete with a small bar and snack area. The rooms are gorgeous with the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in. The bathrooms are very nice and have granite counters and […] large showers with a seat. The pool area was clean with plenty of towels, which I don't usually see. Every staff member I encountered was extremely pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. The man who checked us in changed the floor of our room so we could be near my aunt who was traveling with us. He also took $30 off of her room rate because she had been incorrectly quoted over the phone. The woman tending the bar area was very friendly, as was the man who checked us out. I would return to this hotel without hesitation if I were to come back to Newport News. I wish there were more like it around the areas that I've traveled. Highly recommended! 더 보기

Very friendly staff, super clean and everything appeared brand new - even a good fitness center. Very nice experience and priced right, highly recommend.

We spent two nights at the Courtyard by Marriott in Newport News. The experience was fantastic. The rooms were clean and very roomy. We had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable experience in Newport News. There were four (4) adults who stayed in the room and the two queen beds worked fine for us. I commend the hotel for its service.

The Courtyard Newport News was a definite suprise. The modern flair and atmosphere was great. We stayed on a Saturday and the vibe in the lobby was "good time for all." There were several military families there, I believe saying farewell to their loved ones who were leaving for duty. The pool is very small, my daughter was very disappointed with that. […] I would definitely stay at this hotel again. There are several newly built shops within walking distance, but none were open just yet. Once they are open, the neighborhood of the hotel is going to be pretty nice. There are some empty lots around the hotel. I would make sure before you book your room that no construction is going on. It definitely looks like more hotels are going up in the area. Patrick Henry Mall is right across the street. You really can't beat the convienience of this location. 더 보기

Hotel is new and very modern. Excellent for children, couples, business trips, etc. Would recommend to all.

I was very pleased with the distance to the beaches, colonial williamsburg, the very close mall, and good food. the accents and design highlights in the room was very nice. The Only minor thing I disliked was that there was no free continental breakfast. Otherwise it was outstanding. I definitely recommend.

This hotel was spotless and would stay here again. The staff was great and the room was the best!!

The hotel was perfectly located near all, was very clean, had friendly staff, rooms were well stocked, the bed felt like a cloud, the hot top was nice and the pool was refreshing. Great room, great service, good location close to airport, shopping, dining.. perfect place to stay on a pleasure trip.

The room was very nice, with a modern asian feel. We even snapped some pictures for decorating ideas for our home. Only (minor) complaint was that you could hear people in the hall if they were being loud. This didn't happen often and never at a time when we would be sleeping.

Nice, comfortable room; great atmosphere; kids loved the pool; unfortunately only stayed one night so I couldn't enjoy more of it. Free internet service is great; I hooked up my laptop without any problems; great massaging showerhead. Only surprise was no continental breakfast. Overall, great stay.

Buitengewoon vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Bijzonder mooie kamer. Lekker eten en heerlijke koffie van Starbucks. Schoon laken zat toch nog een vlek in. Hoort natuurlijk niet. Misser. Maar al het andere maakt het dik in orde. Een absolute aanrader!!!!!
